>Misha buckles her seat belt, and squirms a bit in the seat making herself comfortable.
>"When we talked about moving in together I thought you meant at your place, Acchan"
>Akira smirks, and starts the car.
>"You saw how that place looks. It's a horrible mess, worthy of a hikki. We couldn't be comfortable there."
>"Well we could clean it up a bit~ Like, get rid of the bottles and cans and remove the trash pile in the corner..."
>Akira rolls her eyes, and sighs. She stops at the red light and turns to Misha.
>"That trash pile is my casual clothes reserve. It's not like you can clean up five years of lonely that easily. And I want to leave that den behind me now... You know, so much has changed lately"
>She smiles and kisses Misha on the cheek. Misha blushes, and bites her thumb, silent.
>"B-but I just started working, I don't really have any savings and all~ It makes me feel sort of wrong you know, Acchan..."
>Light turns green, Akira accelerates sharply, and pokes Misha after shifting gears.
>"Don't you worry about that."
>Misha sits in silence looking through the side window, lost in thought. After a short while they reach their destination. Akira parks the car and gently pokes Misha again.
>"Come on, let's see what we're working with here. It's only first on the list, though."
>Misha sighs and gets out of the car. She smoothes her dress down, and follows Akira into the building.
>"Looks like elevator's out. Come on, guess we'll have to use the stairs now"
>Akira swiftly climbs the first few flights of stairs, followed closely by Misha.
>"Ah god damn it. I hate stairs" After reaching 6th floor, Akira stops to catch her breath.
>"You should work on your stamina Acchan~" Misha doesn't seem even slightly tired. "I told you to jog in the mornings with me"
>"As if you did that for stamina only." Akira grins.
>"That wasn't nice~... But I forgive you." Misha giggles. "You're horrible sometimes, you know~"
>"So are you. All right, one more floor to cover"
>They finally make it to the door. Akira whips out the key and they enter the apartment.
>"Those walls could use some color. Other than that, looking good so far" She walks into the living room "Holy shit this place is HUGE"
>"Yeah~" Misha looks around, visibly concerned "It seems nice, I think~"
>"You THINK?" Akira briskly walks into the kitchen "This is bloody amazing! And would you look at that! Kitchen is already furnished!"
>Misha follows her, playing with her hair.
>"Check this out! There's even a minibar here. Gotta move that to the living room though."
>"Looks really nice... I-Is there anything inside~?" Misha moves closer to the mini bar.
>"Nah, empty and dry. Can't have everything at once eh." Akira smiles. Suddenly, she wraps her hands around Misha, and puts her head on Misha's shoulder, cheek to cheek.
>"You seem terribly troubled today. Don't think I didn't notice. What's wrong?" She asks with genuine concern in her voice.
>Misha presses her cheek against Akira's.
>"It's just... It's just that..." Her voice begins to break. "I'm so USELESS~"
>She frees herself from Akira's embrace, and takes a few steps away, crossing her arms.
>"I... It's like everything you do happens for me. I don't even know how to react you know~ I'm so grateful and at the same time I feel like... like a parasite~ It's as if I have nothing to give back, and... and I don't like it at all~"
>Tears start rolling down Misha's cheeks. Akira stands still, dumbfounded.
>"I feel so.. INADEQUATE, Acchan. As if it was all but a dream~ Everything. This place, you actually caring for me. I know it's stupid, I just... It's not like I'm used to all that you see~"
>Akira sighs, and moves closer placing her hands on Misha's shoulders.
>"Not this again. Listen, I told you already. Good things can happen to you just because, without much reason. You don't have to pay for... I don't know, seeing a rainbow or anything, all you do is you know, be happy about it."
>Misha looks into Akira's eyes.
>"But I still don't feel all right about this Acchan~ It's really like-" Misha doesn't seem to convinced.
>"Oh seriously now." Akira interrupts her. "I... I love you. I want you to be happy. Please, BE. For me, if you really need a reason."
>Misha's eyes widen.
>"Acchan... It's the first time you know~..."
>Akira just looks at Misha, surprised.
>"First time you said that you love me. It's... It's nice you see~" Misha gets teary again, but this time she's smiling, and looks incredibly happy.
>"Really? I didn't really notice" Akira seems stunned. Misha steps towards her, and plants a kiss on her lips.
>"I love you too Acchan." She sighs. "Thank you. Thank you for choosing to try with me, back then~ I feel so happy now. I'm sorry, I tried but I couldn't say it first and-"
>"Quiet, you." Akira embraces Misha again, and slowly moves in for a kiss. "Stop being so concerned about everything. All is good. And it WILL be good"
>Misha smiles faintly before their lips connect. They kiss passionately for a short while, both teary eyed.
>"You know Acchan" Misha smiles afterwards and wipes the tears. "You're the only lawyer I could trust."
>"Right, as if you trusted the lawyer part of me" Akira chuckles. "So, what do you think of this place?"
>"It's great. Really, really great~ Of course it needs some redecorating here and there-"
>"Pink, I'm guessing"
>"Wahaha~ No, no. I have few ideas, and only bedroom involves pink~"
>Akira glares at Misha.
>"Over my dead body."
>"Wahahaha!"
>"Now that's nothing to waha about! No pink in the bedroom!" Akira smiles and hugs Misha. "So, do you like this place? Because seriously, I do. A lot."
>"Acchan, it's perfect. Too perfect even. Wonder when we'll see the cockroaches and other stuff~"
>"So, go for it?"
>"Yes~! When do we move in?"
>"First you have to buy furniture and booze."
