- Unpaid jobs can be deterring but this is the perfect opportunity for aspiring journalists, showcasing your abilities or simply getting involved in a large community. With this role, there are however some demands and responsibilities.
- - All article submissions are exclusive to utdreport and can only be shared on utdreport.co.uk
- - As a writer, you'll have few assignments. Most of the time you will be expected to take own initiative. 2-3 pieces are expected of you each week. News articles must contain a minimum of 200 words whilst opinion pieces are at least 600 words. Inactivity or failure to meet needs will result in termination.
- - All article submissions must be checked for spelling errors, grammatical errors and proper punctuation before submitted.
- - We at utdreport are very conscious of our image and with such a large following, you are expected to be unbiased and fair in your writing.
- - We are not obligated to publish any submissions made by writers.
- We are a very close-knit group are utdreport and making sure any addition fits in is crucial.
- - You will given a personal log-in to the website portal where you can write & edit your posts.
- - You will be added to the utdreport group chat with the administrators, editors and writers.
- - Your full name and link to your Twitter account will be at the top of every article post on utdreport.co.uk
- - Your twitter handle will be included in some article tweets by @utdreport
