  1. Within a serene glade.
  2. It is uncomfortably cold. The expense of the mystical forest takes pause here as it opens up into a tranquil, aged glade of light and colour. At its heart is a long tableau of white marble, gleaming in the light with its mirror-polished surface. The joyful song of birds lends the area a serene atmosphere, their colourful feathers dancing among the blossoming flowers carpeting the small hill. Four pillars of sand flow onto a bed-sized slab of white marble which rises from the ground, surrounded by a nimbus of domotheon energies. Resting peacefully in repose upon the healing mound, the cocooned figure of the Goddess Li-varili is kept vigil by the gentle light of twinkling domothean crystals. Wreathed in aurulent ivy, a pristine healing mound gleams invitingly. Flickering like a ghostly light, a will-o-wisp floats through the air.
  3. You see a single exit leading west.
  4.
  5. LOOKIT ME
  6. Standing at a scant four foot ten inches, they are an alluring sileni kindly demigod changeling. The slender curves of this creature's form, from their slight shoulders to their dainty, six-fingered hands, lend them a youthful, wholesome appearance. Their right hand has been scarred upon the palm, as if with a sharp object, and their most prominent three knuckles of the same hand are marred. A heart-shaped face houses a sheepish smile and a pair of large, expressive, slate-blue eyes, their brilliant white pupils resembling stars framed with dusky auburn lashes. Their long cheeks and thin, upturned nose both bear a permanent shade of blush, accentuated by the greatest cluster of freckles. A moderately sized crescent-shaped scar mars their right cheek, brightly visible against the deep hue of their skin. Their smooth skin is tawny in color, covered in a smattering of auburn freckles. A hint of discolored flesh can be seen at the center of their sternum, mostly obscured by their clothing. An unruly mane of bright, apricot colored hair is clustered in wavy clumps atop their head, parted on either side of their head by a pair of curling, deep sable ram's horns, the left horn slightly shorter and stumpier than the right. A shock of bone-white hair stands out along their left temple, the tuft tucked delicately around their horn. A pair of velvety soft black ram's ears hang down from below their horns, twitching every so often in response to foreign sound. Beginning along their midriff is a thin coat of apricot-colored wool, a hint of pure white spots seen poking out from the top of their pants. Their backwards-tilted legs are slender and fawn-like, covered in downy tufts of orange fur and coming to end with triangular, sable black hooves. A short orange and white tail can be seen occasionally wagging behind them. Their skin shimmers faintly from a thin application of oil and smells faintly of dragon's blood, deep and exotic.
  7. They are wearing:
  8. a starry wreath of celestial light set atop their head like a halo
  9. an ebon throwover cloak striated with lilac patterns wrapped protectively about their form
  10. a warm tulip of dawn pinned to their opposite breast pocket
  11. a circlet of crystal thorns resting loosely atop their head
  12. a vivid red-orange poppy tucked lovingly behind their left ear
  13. the Mantle of Starlight which flows dreamily about their shoulders and back
  14. a breezy blue cotton tunic which hangs flatteringly from their form
  15. mercurial Mysraian prayer beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  16. a Glomdoring friendship bracelet which jingles softly on their left wrist
  17. minty citrus incense beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  18. a mantric voidcopper poppy worn delicately upon their left wrist
  19. a driftwood ring of sea breezes fitted tightly to their left middle finger
  20. simple white linen trousers which swish around their legs freely
  21. Refined Boots of the Paladin, worn and weathered from use.
  22.
  23. As you gently brush your fingertips across a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili, one of the pure white magnolia blossoms flowering about Her gently floats into your grasp.
  24.
  25. The magnolia flowers that blossom before a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili unfurl with a dewy beauty, soothing in their mild and calming fragrance. They drape about the Goddess as if left in offering, even as they bind Her in place.
  26.
  27. "Take this pure white magnolia blossom, Gurashi," the calm, feminine voice of the Empyreal Goddess whispers to you, "and empower the misty wisps of Daeiv ma'Mornhai, that they may imbue it with their healing power."
  28.
  29. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you whisper, "Am here - here to helps."
  30.
  31. <-- influence! talky!!
  32.
  33. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you sing, "Hello wispy! Hello!"
  34.
  35. You sing the praises of the heroic exploits of a misty wisp of healing light, recounting her many incredible adventures.
  36. A misty wisp of healing light puffs up her chest and a crazy gleam enters her eyes as she vigorously agrees with you that her intelligence and strength far surpass anyone else's.
  37. An achingly beautiful rhapsody sings out from a misty wisp of healing light and a soothing glow engulfs you in answer, blessing you beneath a sparkling veil of white.
  38. In response to the wisp's bright song, the magnolia in your hands glows anew with purest white light.
  39. As a pure white magnolia blossom overflows with boundless light, you feel an irresistible urge to TOUCH the regal flower.
  40.
  41. You reach out and touch a pure white magnolia blossom.
  42. As a pure white magnolia blossom's petals unfurl, you hear the gentle voice of the Empyreal Goddess whisper: "This magnolia's heart is fully imbued with great healing light. Bring it to the cocoon bearing the Goddess Li-varili, and you may lend its power to My own."
  43. [HINT]: DROP the flower before the cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili!
  44.
  45. <-- nyoom
  46. Within a serene glade.
  47. Humble Avaris, Avower of the Archons is here, enveloped in an lambent aura of dazzling, cosmic radiance.
  48. You see a single exit leading west.
  49.
  50. LOOKIT AVARIS
  51. An imposing figure of titanic proportions, he is a compound-eyed kephera celestial demigod. Easily twice the height of a tall man, possessed of a dignified and noble bearing. Six vast wings of gently effulgent, aureate feathers spread out from his back, each bearing a multitude of lucent, stylised eyes formed of two curving lines and a circle betwixt them - which move and gaze about with eerie awareness. The shape of his domed head is reminiscent of a knightly helm, the alabaster of his pointed chin and the wide flares of chitin that form his jaw contrasting with the layered crest of shining gold that sweeps up and out from his severe brow in broad, curving blades. Seven eyes of brilliant azure are set into the burnished, aureate visor of his immobile face, three beneath each side of his brow, with a single, larger one set at the center of his forehead. Flowing up from behind the prominent crest are two arcing pairs of liquid, red antennae - the interior set grand, the other, outer pair smaller, each thick line of sanguine aether dense and opaque. Engulfing much of his upper torso is a dense, luxurious mane of pristine white fluff, which flows up over his shoulders and behind his neck in a spray of lustrous tufts. His immense frame is plated in dense chitin of white-streaked, gleaming gold, the exoskeleton formed in the manner of natural armour - most notably so in his upper set of shoulders, which are shaped like pauldrons from which a halo of spiked gold arcs, with a baleful, stylised eye of intense red emblazoned upon them. All four of his arms are thick and powerfully constructed, the long limbs terminating in pointed fingers that extend from long, inherently gauntleted hands. His narrow waist juts out into broad hips, from which descend the wide span of his plated thighs, the digitigrade legs supported by large feet that possess viciously hooked talons of thin, steeply angled gold, three at the front of each foot, and two upon each heel. Soothing mists of water and light weave about him in a sparkling white veil, marking the truefavour of Lantra, the Empyreal.
  52. He is wearing:
  53. a white imperial scabbard on his right hip
  54. a white leather scabbard bearing a silver cross hanging low from his right hip
  55. a black scabbard with a gold horn on his left hip
  56. a black scabbard with a gold horn hanging low from his left hip
  57. a glass ampoule of bottled starlight secured to his hip by a fine silver chain threaded through the chitin
  58. a celestial mark of the Empyreal
  59. a glowing gold tongue stud
  60. a Brooch of Elemental Earth
  61. a Brooch of Elemental Water
  62. a Brooch of Demons.
  63.
  64. You blink.
  65.
  66. You have emoted: Gurashi's short tail wags, and they pause as they immediately enter, a pure white magnolia blossom grasped preciously between their hands. "Aaaaaaahhhwahhh," They approach the cocoon and offer Avaris a nod. "Good moooorniiiing."
  67.
  68. To the cocoon now, you sing, "Good moooooorning to You too Laaaaady, I have brought..."
  69.
  70. You have emoted: Gurashi crouches a little, letting the blossom join the others before immediately stepping back, tapping their fingers together.
  71. You drop a pure white magnolia blossom.
  72.
  73. Boundless light flows forth from a pure white magnolia flower in its descent, floating gently towards a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili in a swirl of soothing energies. The entirety of the healing mound illuminates in answer, drawing strength from the offering.
  74. The Goddess Li-varili's expression shifts as if dreaming, the illumined scars that once marked Her body now faint and dimmed by the healing light of the magnolias.
  75. As if the Goddess's dreams are your own, they enter your mind unbidden: You bask within the lagoons of Lusternia, relishing in sunlight and company as you stand beside the one you most adore: crowned in roseate coral, smiling at you with patience and love. As you reach for their hand, however, your beloved's form evaporates in a flurry of bubbles, replaced by a cruel cackling as you are ensnared in place by countless chains that bind you and silence you. Your eyes dart in vain to see any trace of the being that once stood by your side, brimming with sapphire tears.
  76. "Allow Me to thank you for your part in this healing ritual, Gurashi," the calm, feminine voice of the Empyreal Goddess whispers to you through the aether, before dissipating in a whirl of starlight.
  77. You feel your health expand as the healing power of Lantra, the White washes over you in gratitude.
  78.
  79. You wince in pain.
  80.
  81. A leather bound book of pressed blossoms held carefully in one hand, Avaris is nonetheless already looking in your direction as you enters. He inclines his head politely, offering, "A good morning to you, Gurashi."
  82.
  83. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  84.
  85. You have emoted: Gurashi starts to answer Avaris, but their attention is drawn to the cocoon even after they've deposited the flower, wringing their hands together in silent contemplation.
  86.
  87. You think to yourself: ... sad ...
  88.
  89. Without turning to glance at the cocoon, Avaris asks, neutrally, "The dreams?"
  90.
  91. You have emoted: Gurashi quickly shakes out their head, long ears slapping themselves in the face with the motion. "Ah. Yes!" They whip their head up to Avaris, nodding. "Her dreams, her sad dreams..." They sniff. "Has been any changes? A-sides from Her dreams being so..."
  92.
  93. You have emoted: Gurashi puffs their cheeks. "Unsettled?"
  94.
  95. You timidly tap your fingers together.
  96.
  97. You have emoted: Gurashi suddenly drops to the grassy ground with a very small 'thud', sitting and staring intently at the cocoon, at the sleeping Goddess inside. Their expression is nothing short of intensely concerned.
  98.
  99. Closing the book and holding it against one armoured thigh, Avaris considers the question for a moment before replying carefully, "She is mending. My Lady has said as much. I believe that Her dreaming is a consequence of Her convalescence."
  100.
  101. LOOKIT COCOON
  102. Cocooned in an immaculate light, the form of the Goddess Li-varili peacefully rests here upon the healing mound of Lantra, the White. The white scars that mark the turquoise-skinned Elder pulse with a gentle, twinkling radiance under the vigil of domothean crystals that hover over Her body, singing with faint, healing light. Her wild hair tangles about Herself in a blood-red halo, spilling behind Her in a dark curtain tangled with kelp and cattail reeds. There is a strange innocence to the normally imposing Divine in Her repose, as if thousands of years of tension have at last relinquished their hold on Her weary, exhausted body. Vines of white magnolia flowers blossom atop the healing mound, tenderly entwining about the Goddess's limbs to keep Her in place, though theirs is a firm, yet gentle grasp. She appears to be dreaming vividly. A radiant halo of healing light emanates from the flowers that wreathe the Goddess here.
  103. You sense you have already received your magnolia flower for this month.
  104.
  105. You see the following people here:
  106. Avaris, Gurashi.
  107.
  108. Xiran arrives from the west.
  109.
  110. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail wags in the grass behind them as they continue to consider the cocoon. "I know She is - healing takes a really long time, especially when you've been so hurting for so long," They marvel this aloud, cupping their unscarred cheek, considering it. "Cheli said there was concerns about Her waking up a-fore She heals ..."
  111.
  112. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail twitches again, face brightening. "Miss Xiran, good morning to you as well! Have you come to help?"
  113.
  114. LOOKIT XIRAN
  115. Although glimmers of ethereal energy fade in the wake of her dusty green wings, she is a nimble faeling titan of unremarkable stature, little bigger than a pooka. In the rare moments she ceases in her hovering, the viridian veins that line her wings and marble her pale skin are visible. Her silvery hair has been slicked back into a proper bun. Loose strands have been tucked behind her ears. Despite the lines set about her mouth, she has a gleam of mischief in her eyes. Her skin shimmers faintly from a thin application of oil and smells faintly of dragon's blood, deep and exotic. A lush fragrance dances about her as she stands awash in the wild, prismatic colours of a truefavour from Maylea, Bloom of Serenity.
  116. She is wearing:
  117. an emerald rose pinning her hair in place, softly haloing her in a verdant crown of light
  118. a webbed wedding band of platinum
  119. a snowy cloak adorned with moonglory
  120. an opalescent white turtleneck shirt several sizes too large, with

  123. The morning sky churns with storm-grey clouds, their bellies lit up by the sun's radiance.
  124.
  125. Xiran smiles and curtseys in midair before you and Avaris. Her smile wavers as she raises her head, looking up, up, up at the kephera's form.
  126.
  127. You hum softly to yourself.
  128.
  129. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Oh goodness. Is he igasho or kephera?
  130.
  131. Avaris dips his head in a nod, though he does not respond to you. Instead, he faces forward, over the heads of the others present. A number of the glowing, light-forged eyes that adorn his wings flick to Xiran, and remain there as he inclines his head in a courteous manner.
  132.
  133. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Eep.
  134.
  135. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles. "Have you two met?" They ask cheerfully.
  136.
  137. You tilt your head curiously at Xiran.
  138.
  139. You tilt your head curiously at Avaris.
  140.
  141. A ghostly willowisp dances in gaily.
  142.
  143. A pert little nose takes in a delicate whiff of Veldrin's surroundings.
  144.
  145. Xiran curtseys gracefully before Veldrin.
  146.
  147. Veldrin inclines her head politely to those around her.
  148.
  149. LOOKIT VELDRIN
  150. She is a fiendish master viscanti vernal ascendant changeling. She is rather short for her race. Her head is crowned with pure wispy silver locks that spill like a waterfall down over her form down to her feet. Countless tiny bells are woven into her hair dull and in some cases slightly chared. Her robe draped over her slight frame. A pair of black draconic wings sprout from her back, the muscles to weak too do much more then stir the air about her. A pair of horns run from her fore head back tword her crown. While her ears are mostly hidden in her hair, Slight points can been seen to them. Her face bares high cheek bones and a pair of soft pale grey eyes. Her skin appears to be coated in a mostly clear flexable crystal shell. Tattooed on her gut is an illustration of a golden Ouroboros.
  151. Resembling an entity from the cosmic planes, her head is wreathed in undulating strands of shimmering cosmic fire. Attuned to her moods, the chromatic waves are in constant flux, from rising up in a halo of incandescent anger to streaming back in ripples of pleasure.
  152. She is wearing:
  153. a changeling intaglio
  154. a Mask of Esteemed Beauty
  155. a fesix bandolier

  175.
  176. You point accusingly at Veldrin.
  177.
  178. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "And Miss Veldrin!" In a mock ominous voice they add, "Of Mag-na-gor-aaaaaaaas. Hi!"
  179.
  180. Veldrin gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
  181.
  182. You see the following people here:
  183. Avaris, Xiran, Veldrin, Gurashi.
  184.
  185. Xiran's nervous smile under Avaris's eyes fades into something more genuine as laughter emerges in the serene glade.
  186.
  187. Veldrin nods her head sagely.
  188.
  189. You hum softly to yourself.
  190.
  191. In a polite tone, Avaris says to Xiran, "A good morning to you, Miss Xiran.
  192.
  193. Voice resonating with choral harmonics, Humble Avaris, Avower of the Archons says, "I shall leave you all to it. A good day."
  194.
  195. A pair of ivory angel wings rapidly flutters on Avaris's back, then carries him up into the skies.
  196.
  197. Xiran blinks.
  198.
  199. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  200.
  201. You blush furiously.
  202.
  203. Veldrin D'Cente thinks to herself: From the chaotic voices a chant of "Think bug" begins before fading away.
  204.
  205. The magnolia flowers that blossom before a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili unfurl with a dewy beauty, soothing in their mild and calming fragrance. They drape about the Goddess as if left in offering, even as they bind Her in place.
  206.
  207. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow says, "Ah."
  208.
  209. Veldrin D'Cente says to you, "Greetings once more."
  210.
  211. You have emoted: Gurashi slowly lolls their head forward as the kephera takes to the skies, their previous delight fading somewhat.
  212.

  221. As Xiran gently brushes her fingertips across a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili, one of the pure white magnolia blossoms flowering about Her gently floats into her grasp.
  222.
  223. In agreement, you say to Veldrin, "Yeah that sounds about rightly for me too."
  224.
  225. You see the following people here:
  226. Veldrin, Xiran, Gurashi.
  227.
  228. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Xiran, "Ah - good luck with the wispies! I just talked to somes but bet they would like some more talkies soonly."
  229.
  230. Xiran flits in wide circles about you and Veldrin.
  231.
  232. Veldrin turns her attention towards you as her ears perk up in interest.

  246.
  247. Xiran tilts her head.
  248.
  249. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Hrm. Perhaps conveying blessings the way they do would be appropriate for a wedding...? Let's see.
  250.
  251. You have emoted: Gurashi trails off, returning their gaze to the cocoon, fishing out a peacock psalterium lyre, checking its tuned state.
  252.
  253. Xiran smiles.
  254.
  255. Xiran leaves to the west.
  256.
  257. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down towards their hooves, then back at the cocoon, tail wagging. "She is still sleeping," They say finally. "Still dreamings... sad ones."
  258.
  259. You close your eyes and inhale deeply, absorbing the scent of your surroundings.
  260.
  261. Veldrin D'Cente says, "It will likely be some time before she awakens, channeling powerful artifacts can be extramly unpleasent, took us a few years to recover..and we channeled something that shardlings are proven capable of handling to some degree."
  262.
  263. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  264.
  265. Surprised, you say, "It took YOU years?" They look at the Goddess fretfully, "I wonder how long it will take She..."
  266.
  267. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Granted..we had no healer and the lady has likely the best healer.."
  268.
  269. You nod your head slowly in understanding.
  270.
  271. You have emoted: Gurashi gives their knees another squeeze, frowning at the cocoon.
  272.
  273. Shifting in colours, a willowisp floats away elsewhere.
  274.
  275. Veldrin D'Cente says, "She is recovering already, she will be fine, the mood she wakes in is likely the greater concern."
  276.
  277. You have emoted: Gurashi croons quietly, swaying at the thought. "May She see..." They start to say something but trail off, squishing their cheek with their arm.
  278.
  279. You sense Xiran pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.
  280. Xiran dances down a moonbeam and alights gently on the ground.
  281.
  282. You look at Xiran hopefully.
  283.
  284. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles in their spot. "Welcome back, welcome."
  285.
  286. Xiran's eyes sparkle with amusement.
  287.
  288. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Likely the best we can do for her is seek her daughter..will solve two of the major concerns."
  289.
  290. The expression of the slumbering Goddess Li-varili changes faintly, as if dreaming, the magnolias emitting a soft glow as She shifts and turns upon the healing mound.
  291.
  292. The soft voice of Xiran tickles your ear, "Apologies. I hope I didn't interrupt your song."
  293.
  294. Xiran drops a pure white magnolia blossom.
  295. Boundless light flows forth from a pure white magnolia flower in its descent, floating gently towards a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili in a swirl of soothing energies. The entirety of the healing mound illuminates in answer, drawing strength from the offering.
  296. The Goddess Li-varili's expression shifts as if dreaming, the illumined scars that once marked Her body now faint and dimmed by the healing light of the magnolias.
  297. Xiran appears suddenly refreshed and rejuvenated as a gentle white light suffuses her in its immaculate glow.
  298.
  299. Your melodic voice sings into Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow's mind, "I was not singing, no."
  300.
  301. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  302.
  303. Veldrin gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
  304.
  305. Veldrin D'Cente says, "You worry a lot.."
  306.
  307. You have emoted: Gurashi watches the magic spread from the cocoon, blinking tiredly. "It is taking so long to find her, the spirit," They tiredly rub their eyes. "...a-ah? I do?"
  308.
  309. You look at Veldrin, expression filled with concern as you frown.
  310.
  311. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you ask Veldrin, "Are you NOT worried?"
  312.
  313. You fret over everything that might go wrong.
  314.
  315. You have emoted: Gurashi turns their attention to the wisp dancing overhead, tail wagging anxiously behind them.
  316.
  317. Xiran blinks.
  318.
  319. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: So many worries. Ah, dear Gurashi.
  320.
  321. The smell of wildflowers wafts past your nose.
  322.
  323. Veldrin D'Cente says to you, "Once we reach a consensus within, there is little reason to worry at what "might be" .. we've yet to find our "worry" capable of changing the weave of the tapestry."
  324.
  325. Veldrin ponders you thoughtfully, looking you up and down.
  326.
  327. You have emoted: Gurashi sways at this, brow furrowed. "I try not to worry too muchly about the might-be's, but," They turn to look away from the human to the cocoon, "it is such a bigly might-be..."
  328.
  329. You flop down onto the ground.
  330.
  331. Veldrin D'Cente says, "You'll go grey worry so much..or.."
  332.
  333. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Also very possible it is this place that is messing with us, we feel dampened while here."
  334.
  335. Xiran's eyes sparkle with amusement at Veldrin.
  336.
  337. You blink.
  338.
  339. You have emoted: Gurashi reaches up to touch their lock of hair that's gone white, twirling it around their finger. "Dampened?" They wonder aloud.
  340.
  341. You tilt your head and listen intently to Veldrin.
  342.
  343. Xiran She drifts down to land before you, offering up her hands to you as her wings fold to a close.
  344.
  345. A ghostly willowisp dances in gaily.
  346.
  347. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Xiran.
  348.
  349. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles in their spot again as Xiran lands before them, reaching out to take the tiny faeling's hands.
  350.
  351. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Calmed..it is like having a heavy lead weighted blanket thrown over us.."
  352.
  353. You have emoted: Gurashi's starry eyes widen. "I think that is accurate," They whisper. "A blanket with weights ... it is kind of nice."
  354.
  355. Xiran hums in quiet agreement with Veldrin's words. Although a blanket of snow builds elsewhere, the glade seems blanketed in serenity.
  356.
  357. You close your eyes and inhale deeply, absorbing the scent of your surroundings.
  358.
  359. You have emoted: Gurashi sits in silence for a time, looking down at their hands, then at their companions, tail swishing against the grass behind them. "Is making me sleepy," They say suddenly, grinning.
  360.
  361. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Somewhat concerning.."
  362.
  363. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "But I might just be sleepy..."
  364.
  365. You tilt your head and listen intently to Veldrin.
  366.
  367. Veldrin looks exhausted and opens her mouth in an enormous yawn.
  368.
  369. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you ask Veldrin, "Is concerning? Ah - whyso?"
  370.
  371. From Xiran's hands, a faint thrill of silvery light brushes against you before settling into something cool and soothing. "Concerning?" she asks, looking up to Veldrin.
  372.
  373. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Lady Empyreal is likely among the divine we fear most..likely bad we don't feel much fear standing here."
  374. The echoes of a sweet, salubrious song emanate from a misty wisp of healing light as she glows fondly.
  375.
  376. You blink.
  377.
  378. Surprised, you ask Veldrin, "You are afeared of She?"
  379.
  380. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: I wonder if calm is unsettling for other Magnagorans too.
  381.
  382. You stare blankly into space.
  383.
  384. Looking up, you say, "I guess it is differently for you, than for me... that is right..."
  385.
  386. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We fear all of the "healers" , the worst most others can do is wipe you from existance or splatter you across reality."
  387.
  388. You have emoted: Gurashi wriggles their nose. "...healers can make you whole again though," They wonder, watching Veldrin.
  389.
  390. Xiran tilts her head.
  391.
  392. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: I am not so certain... mm.
  393.
  394. Veldrin D'Cente says, "And if one dose not wish to be whole by the healers standard?"
  395.
  396. Veldrin tilts her head curiously at you.
  397.
  398. You have emoted: Gurashi's frown grows a little, and they fidget. "If the healed wants to be--" They start to say, just as Veldrin speaks, causing them to laugh.
  399.
  400. You have emoted: Gurashi cups their cheek, shutting their eyes.
  401.
  402. Regarding Veldrin thoughtfully, Xiran "I would not be able to comprehend their sense of wholeness, Gurashi. To heal without knowing such might not bode well."
  403.
  404. You have emoted: Gurashi blushes a little, cracking open their eyes to look at the ground before them. "Yeah. Sorry, I was not trying to be rudely."
  405.
  406. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Theirs is a strange song of many voices.
  407.
  408. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We've had a number of healers wish to fix us, some have tried..was very annoying and unpleasent."
  409.
  410. Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
  411.
  412. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  413.
  414. Xiran pats you in a friendly manner.
  415.
  416. Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land in utter darkness.
  417. It is now the 22nd of Estar, 595 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  418. There are 7 days until the New Moon
  419.
  420. You glance askance.
  421.
  422. You think to yourself: Oh - is almost my birthday...
  423.
  424. Pale gold in hue, the wreath about your brow shimmers in a steady pattern, like unto a heartbeat in its gentle pulsation, crowning you in a flickering halo before settling still once more.
  425.
  426. You think to yourself: But that is not importants - healing is hard.
  427.
  428. Veldrin D'Cente says, "If you can fix, you can break..a deeper knowledge leads to greater ability to break more effectivly. Warriors beating on us with bits of steel likely have less effect then a skill surgeon with a far smaller instrument."
  429.
  430. Veldrin shivers violently.
  431.
  432. Xiran's eyes gleam impishly before she schools her expression.
  433.
  434. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We would prefer not to go though that again.."
  435.
  436. You have emoted: Gurashi starts to say something, but lets it be swallowed up in silence, turning their attention to the willowisps, watching them bob about gaily.
  437.
  438. Quietly, you say, "Sorry that happened to you."
  439.
  440. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "That is not nice."
  441.
  442. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow says to Veldrin, "I hope it doesn't unsettle, Harbinger, when I reach out without asking." Without a hint of teasing, she says, "It is not my intent to find something to fix of you. Only to dispell what others are imposing on you."
  443.
  444. You look at Xiran hopefully.
  445.
  446. You look at Veldrin, expression filled with concern as you frown.
  447.
  448. Veldrin tilts her head curiously at Xiran.
  449.
  450. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Oh, in battle? we are quite thankful for that healing .."
  451.
  452. Softly, you say, "But someones trying to fix somethings that doesn't need fixings..."
  453.
  454. Veldrin ponders you thoughtfully, looking you up and down.
  455.
  456. You have emoted: Gurashi doesn't catch Veldrin's stare, watching the nearby cocoon again.
  457.
  458. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Hmm. Whether it is needed or not... How I view needs may be far different froma Magnagoran, so... Sometimes wants must be respected too.
  459.
  460. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Once, a very long time ago we where not as strong as we are now..and the strong decide the fate of the weak..so we ended up on a table, the subject of curiosity.."
  461.
  462. The expression of the slumbering Goddess Li-varili changes faintly, as if dreaming, the magnolias emitting a soft glow as She shifts and turns upon the healing mound.
  463.
  464. The wind whistles eerily through the trees.
  465.
  466. Veldrin creases her brow in a frown.
  467.
  468. You have emoted: Gurashi's hanging sileni ears twitch in tandem, and they inhale slowly, sitting up in their spot. Their attention turns to Veldrin at this, and they pause, then gently pat the ground at their side, ruffling the grass, as if offering a seat for the viscanti to take.
  469.
  470. Eyes widening at Veldrin's words , Xiran's hands fall back to her sides.
  471.
  472. A disarming sense of peace emanates from this sacred place as a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili rests in repose, as if the Lady of the Lagoons rests outside of time and space itself.
  473.
  474. The sky lightens as Father Sun approaches the horizon, revealing a maelstrom of dark grey clouds wreathing the firmament in a funereal shroud.
  475.
  476. Veldrin lets out a long tired ragged breath as the crystal shell about their form melts away to expose the flesh beneath. In another moment the skin seems to shimmer for a moment as what seems to be an illusion melts away. She sighs for a moment, fingers lightly tracing some of the innumeriable scars that mare and cross about their flesh, some clearly battle scars from centuries of conflict. However a unique set of scars stand out clearly, running clearly down the sternum and across the collar and down the arms. Two large scars run down the legs.
  477.
  478. Veldrin D'Cente thinks to herself: The the chaotic roar of voices grows very quite, almost whispering.
  479.
  480. You blink.
  481.
  482. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We exibited signs of a changeling even then, before we could properly shift..it evoke great curiousity so they opened us up and tried to find what gave us the ability.."
  483.
  484. You have emoted: Gurashi sits up a little taller in their spot, hands falling to their sides as they consider Veldrin's form, brow furrowing, starry eyes glazing over. "Oh," They let out a soft birdlike cry of surprise, covering their mouth as they take in the most egregious of the scars.
  485.
  486. You fret over everything that might go wrong.
  487.
  488. Faintly, you say, "A changeling..."
  489.
  490. Golden shades radiate from your chest and your heart beats faster with newly-appeared determination.
  491.
  492. Veldrin lets her fingers lightly trace along these larger scars and a shiver runs though their body before suddenly the skin shimmers and returns to looking untouched by time and wear, the crystal armour shell almost snapping back into place over it, almost defensivly.
  493.
  494. Hands curling into tiny fists, Xiran frowns but does not flinch. "Changelings were quite rare before," she says softly, without looking to you. "Very rare."
  495.
  496. Veldrin D'Cente says, "After they where done we where tossed out into the gutter, Viscanti physology is rather durable so a few makeshift attempts at holding us togather we where able to become mobile again."
  497.
  498. You have emoted: It doesn't take long for tears to collect in the corners of Gurashi's eyes as they watch Veldrin's protective shell return. They listen to Xiran, letting their hand drift back to their lap, clasping them both together fiercely tight.
  499.
  500. Pulsing with a gentle glow, a misty wisp of healing light floats in from the west.
  501.
  502. Faintly, you say, "Oh, Miss Veldrin..."
  503.
  504. You think to yourself: *their mind reels at the very thought, unable to imagine what that must have been like, to be torn open, peeled apart like a fruit*.
  505.
  506. Veldrin seems a bit lost, gazing at space as they continues, " I..traveled north once I was able to get out of the city..keeping along the roads and catching a ride with a trades men.."
  507.
  508. You have emoted: Gurashi shudders at some unspoken thought, shaking their head before looking back at Veldrin. Their arms fold over their chest, hugging themselves as they continue to listen, rapt with attention.
  509.
  510. The Mantle of Starlight flows gently against your form, twinkling stars shifting across its surface as the starry infinity continues its eternal motion.
  511.
  512. The morning sky churns with storm-grey clouds, their bellies lit up by the sun's radiance.
  513.
  514. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Ended up.. on the edge of a beautiful forest..but it had defenders and really did not desire a tainted being in their wood..I had not the strength to fight so I continued stumbleding along west keeping to the roads as I knew from chatter in the slums about the major "cities" of the basin."
  515.
  516. You have emoted: Gurashi nods as they listen, leaning slightly to the right, as if a stiff wind were causing them to tilt.
  517.
  518. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Eventually I ran into another city..they where..even less accomidating to my tainted status..I rushed as best I could once found but ended up getting struck in the face by some sorta of very bright light, divinus energy likely of some kind.."
  519.
  520. Veldrin creases her brow in a frown.
  521.
  522. You fidget impatiently.
  523.
  524. You think to yourself: *an anxious thrum - what if it was New Celest...?*.
  525.
  526. Veldrin D'Cente says, "I was lost and blind..but after they gave up the chase, I was able to get my bearing with the sounds of the sea.."
  527.
  528. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks slowly, reaching up, breaking their self-embrace to wipe at their eyes.
  529.
  530. Veldrin D'Cente says, "I kept it on my..left..after I found the shore, and the the road once more."
  531.
  532. The smell of wildflowers wafts past your nose.
  533.
  534. You look at Veldrin, expression filled with concern as you frown.
  535.
  536. Veldrin D'Cente says, "I knew of only one other place that might accept me so I ended up in another forest, where I could not feel the sun as I tread..my blood how ever made movement very difficult as always felt something was stalking me..how ever I did get a lot better at placing things by sound fairly quickly.."
  537.
  538. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down, as if trying to gather their own bearings with Veldrin's tale. Their face lights up in recognition, and they silently mouth 'Glomdoring' to themselves, watching.
  539.
  540. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Is she... yet blind?
  541.
  542. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Eventually I had to flee even there, unable to get deeper into the woods and..I traveled back home and found a quite place to curl up and die..broken and tired I gave up.."
  543.
  544. Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
  545.
  546. Veldrin D'Cente says, "The one became many..the many became one..and we rose up and started to make our way.."
  547.
  548. Veldrin sways back and forth.
  549.
  550. Xiran makes an aborted movement to reach for Veldrin with one hand. She continues listening.
  551.
  552. Veldrin shakes her head.
  553.
  554. You have emoted: Gurashi gazes at Veldrin. "...one became many," They whisper.
  555.
  556. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Ah sorry, got lost a bit there.."
  557.
  558. Veldrin gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
  559.
  560. You have emoted: Gurashi shakes their head. "Do not be sorry," They whisper.
  561.
  562. Veldrin D'Cente says, "This place.. definitely is odd."
  563.
  564. Xiran hums softly, subdued and earthly, although it follows the reassuring melody of the wisps of healing light.
  565.
  566. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail wags anxiously behind them as they consider the viscanti, the words still heavy on their mind. "It is a safe place," They whisper at last.
  567.
  568. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We always wonder what happened the glom who guided us out of the forest..they never said a word just made noise directing us to the exit after we where lost within."
  569.
  570. You have emoted: Gurashi takes a deep breath, then lets it out, scratching at a small scab near their elbow. "I am sorry that you endured so muchly pains, Miss Veldrin. That must have been very hard, thens."
  571.
  572. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  573.
  574. You tilt your head and listen intently to Veldrin.
  575.
  576. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you ask Veldrin, "Never spoke...?"
  577.
  578. Veldrin nods her head sagely.
  579.
  580. Veldrin D'Cente says, "While we where lost in glomdoring, avoding getting eatten."
  581.
  582. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Someone came, they stayed a bit off and observed us, but we could hear them, sorta a rattling sound as they moved."
  583.
  584. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Rattling... bones?
  585.
  586. You have emoted: Gurashi listens closely, wide-eyed. "...I wonder, who it was," They whisper. "They sound kind."
  587.
  588. You think to yourself: *soft familiarity - Xenthos perhaps....*.
  589.
  590. You glance askance.
  591.
  592. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We told them we where looking for glom..and they seemed to get agreesive, when tiredly we told them we just would leave them but where lost they sorta started to move ahead of us."
  593.
  594. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Eventually guiding us out of the forest and on to the road."
  595.
  596. Xiran murmurs softly to herself.
  597.
  598. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Glom was hostile to most everyone back then.."
  599.
  600. Softly, you say, "...I see..."
  601.
  602. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow thinks to herself: Dark Marshall and Hallowed Queen of Night...
  603.
  604. Xiran shivers violently.
  605.
  606. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow says, "Curiously kind of them, yes."
  607.
  608. Veldrin shrugs helplessly.
  609.
  610. Veldrin D'Cente says, "They likely just wanted us gone, and once we where willing to leave they where more then happy to direct us away from their home."
  611.
  612. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you whisper, "They do not normally afford kindnesses to lost creatures ... the Forest usually eats 'em up..." They inhale slowly. "I am glad someones helped you."
  613.
  614. You shiver violently.
  615.
  616. You have emoted: Gurashi returns to giving themselves a reassuring squeeze, gazing at the ground near Veldrin's feet, then up at the viscanti with a sad expression.
  617.
  618. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We are glad as well, getting eaten up likely would of been an issue to our continued existance."
  619.
  620. Xiran quirks a brief smile at Veldrin's words. She rises up to drift about Veldrin at a respectful distance as nightsong and healing melodies entwine in the serene glade.
  621.
  622. Veldrin sways back and forth.
  623.
  624. You think to yourself: *a deep internal throb, a tired ache - why do such nicely peoples have to have endured so muchly?*.
  625.
  626. Veldrin D'Cente thinks to herself: The low rumbling of voices grows louder if no less chaotic.
  627.
  628. Veldrin D'Cente says, "We should likely get the healing task done, so others can do it as well."
  629.
  630. You have emoted: Gurashi's ears twitch. "Oh," They seem to snap free from their distracted state. "Oh, yes, O-O-K."
  631.
  632. Xiran's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
  633.
  634. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow says to Veldrin, "Blessed be."
  635.
  636. As Veldrin gently brushes her fingertips across a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili, one of the pure white magnolia blossoms flowering about Her gently floats into her grasp.
  637.
  638. Looking up, you say to Veldrin, "Uh, ahm - many thank yous, for sharing your story with us. Even the sad parts."
  639.
  640. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Thank you for listening, we doubt it can really be used against us anymore."
  641.
  642. Veldrin gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
  643.
  644. You blink.
  645.
  646. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "U-used..."
  647.
  648. You fret over everything that might go wrong.
  649.
  650. Xiran bows before Veldrin in midair.
  651.
  652. Raising both hands, you say, "I promise not to use anythings against syous!"
  653.
  654. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "I have bread!"
  655.
  656. You brandish braided green tea pesto bread menacingly.
  657.
  658. Xiran blinks at you bemusedly.
  659.
  660. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "It is for consuming not using."
  661.
  662. Veldrin tilts her head while gazing at you, her crystal body flickering curious shades of light green.
  663.
  664. You nod your head sagely.
  665.
  666. Carefully, you give braided green tea pesto bread to Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow.
  667.
  668. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Is that the bread your side keeps talking to us about?"
  669.
  670. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you ask Veldrin, "Would likes somes? Eh?"
  671.
  672. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Don't know..just had a lot of requests when timequakes where new for "bread"."
  673.
  674. You nod your head sagely.
  675.
  676. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Dose not happen as much anymore."
  677.
  678. Xiran continues blinking at the strange exchange.
  679.
  680. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Felt your side was weird for asking a geomancer for bread, so gave a few people loaf like rocks as it was the best we had around."
  681.
  682. You eyes light up as you smile.
  683.
  684. Xiran giggles happily.
  685.
  686. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Veldrin, "Well, this breads has pestos."
  687.
  688. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Pestos? like...Malarious wolf dog thing?"
  689.
  690. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Pesto, like ... basils! And cheese."
  691.
  692. Spirit-Touched Xiran Stormcrow says, "Ah, not pestilence."
  693.
  694. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Not that doggy, no no."
  695.
  696. Xiran's eyes sparkle with amusement.
  697.
  698. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Veldrin, "Do not haves to takes it."
  699.
  700. Veldrin D'Cente says, "Sure we will try it at some point, still trying to figure out a name for Nom."
  701.
  702. Veldrin D'Cente says, "They like popcorn though..we think."
  703.
  704. You give braided green tea pesto bread to Veldrin D'Cente.
  705.
  706. Your shoulders bunch as you let out a short giggle.
  707.
  708. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Can eat it ... eventually."
  709.
  710. You glance askance.
  711.
