If I knew how to write maybe this verse wouldn’t be so bad
If I knew how maybe all the demons would fade and rearrange to make halos & wings
If I knew the meaning of life would it even make a difference?
If I could look into your eyes and see your hopes and dreams could I make an impression that’d put me above “just a person I know”?
If I had one thing I could do extremely well, would I use it right or lose my way?
Talking of ways, am I on the right path now or am I that stray soul looking back through the mirror?
