Michelle Carter was a young woman who’s had the negative limelight shone on her. As outlined in court documents, here are some of the messages that Carter sent to her boy friend, Conrad Roy III. Roy used a generator to produce carbon monoxide in his truck to peacefully pass away. Because nobody had any control over Roy anymore, the society was full of hate. After all, everybody hated that Roy had left them, so someone who was still alive had to be taken responsible for someone else’s actions. Being disgusted at Roy’s choice, the morally-delusional society spitefully pressured for conviction of Michelle Carter so that everybody could feel some supremacy over each other. If Carter had caused Roy’s death, Roy would be alive were it not for Carter. Given that there are myriad of ways to die, there’s no way to know Roy would be alive—unless we assume Carter was intrinsically guilty. Actually, were it not for the comfort of Carter, Roy might have died sooner or hurt others. Moreover, Carter used words that everyone is using. There’s no proof that hers was the lethal ones. Her illegal words made legal the knowledge of a novel method: using portable generator to produce carbon monoxide. In the absence of statutory direction, Carter was convicted based on the subjective ingeniousness of the act as opposed to established legal standards.

The U.S. Supreme Court denied a request from lawyers for Michelle Carter to have the court review her conviction stemming from using deputable words. On 13 January 2020, Carter’s case was among several on the court’s website listed under the heading [https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/01/13/metro/supreme-court-wont-hear-michelle-carter-case/ “Certiorari Denied,”] because the U.S. Supreme Court knew the only way to win  was not to review it.
