  142. The Pyramidic Realm of Shandaria

  144. A plane of existence split into nine levels. The upper levels are fantastic paradises, while the lower levels are the bowels of hell, and the middle levels embody a balance of good and evil.
  145. Citizens of the lower realms, through a process of refining the spirit and cleansing themselves of sin and wicked thought, can Ascend to higher planes, but only if they are judged worthy by the Automata, the agents of the High Chancellor. They exist on every level, providing the basis of menial labor.
  146. The exact size of all total planes comes to 3 billion square kilometers, with a population of 40 billion. As one moves higher, the population becomes less dense.
  147. There is much adventure to be found within Shandaria, whether dueling with other mages or crawling through dungeons. Likewise, the culture, theology, and standards of living allow one to find their purpose in Shandaria.
  148. It's leader is politically known as the Grand Chancellor, though he is immortal and will not resign from his position. Attempted coups and Rebellions will be fought fire with fire. The Grand Chancellor rules from his captial city, Ambrosia, on the ninth plane. He is the ultimate authority and the ultimate judge of Shandaria's peoples.
  149. Still, the Grand Chancellor is neither the strongest nor the most magically adept. The citizens of Shandaria are proud adventurers, philosophers, magicians, and cultural keystones.
  150. Shandaria is the place where you can make a legend of yourself, where you can refine the heaven within to reach the heaven without. Join us, friends. Ascension awaits.

  153. The Nine Planes of Shandaria:
  154.  
  155. 9 - Rapture. The Realm of the Grand Chancellor's City. The smallest plane, and the top of the heavens.
  156. 8 - Splendor. The Realm of the Divinities. Gods, demigods, and the worthy inhabit the middle of heaven.
  157. 7 - Candor. The Realm of Greater Joy. The worthy reach this place, a sampling of the what awaits in the Utopia above. The lowest of the Heavens.
  158. 6 - Enlightenment. The Realm of the chastened. Many who make it here will find themselves in a heaven of their own right. The top most plane of Neutrality.
  159. 5 - Reflection. The most neutral of the neutrals.
  160. 4 - Awareness. The start of goodness, coming here from hell is a point of commendation. The lowest of the Neutrals.
  161. 3 - Pride. The realm of the proud, where superiority and inferiority are removed. The top of the Hells.
  162. 2 - Foolishness. Those who wish to better themselves may start here. The middle of the hells.
  163. 1 - Ignorance. A place where those uninterested in refinement, or unable to better themselves. The most populous and largest plane, the very root of the hells.

  165. The White One
  166. We don't know where it came from, we don't know when it arrived. But when the High Chancellor entered the realm, something WRONG followed on his heels.
  167. It appears to most people as a puff of white mist, though within some have said they see a three legged dog, or a crying woman, or a large spider. Reports and witness accounts are conflicting and varied.
  168. Sightings of the White One are always either preceeded or suceeded by calamity. It appeared before a great fire took three city blocks in Pride. It appeared after the flooding of Enlightenment. Curiously, the White One seems to appear on a pattern. He appears before a disaster once, and then after it, and then before again.
  169. It is unknown whether the White One is the cause of these calamities, or if he is merely a symptom of them. However, since his first appearance, there have been more and more natural disasters. Many believe he is at fault.
