  1. Speedrunning Hall of Shame V1.3
  2.
  3. Akikan
  4. Spliced a Super Mario 64 16 Stars run that has been considered the World Record. He got the run off-stream despite usually streaming attempts, deleted his video from Nicovideo and asked others not to share it. For these reasons he was already considered a cheater in the Japanese community, but Western sites continued to list his time as the World Record. Audio analysis brought definite evidence of splicing.

  6. Chibi
  7. Used an Action Replay to perform a hard sequence break in Paper Mario TTYD that was found recently. Got called out immediately by someone in his chat and got permanently banned from submitting times to the leaderboard. The ban has since been lifted.

  10. Spliced Halo 2 speedruns. Embarrassed himself at AGDQ when he failed to complete a run.
  11.
  12. Cosmo Wright

  16. Spliced A Link to the Past runs of better and better quality until he claimed the record with a spliced run. wqqqqwrt exposed him, but the clique protected him for a while and left his runs on the board until the evidence became overwhelming. wqqqqwrt has then become one of the most hated members of the A Link to the Past community.

  18. Gerbur
  19. Spliced Turok speedruns and evaded questions like why he mutes the sound by saying it just doesn't work on his system. Eventually got exposed when it was shown in a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SA7eIfYDehY) that his grenade count doesn't add up. He reacted by deleting the original video, complaining about copyright infringement and defending himself under alt accounts in the comments section: "Wow, and now? Do you think you destroyed him or something? Who the hell cares if he cheated or not? Like wtf don't you have anything better to upload?"

  21. GoronGuy
  22. Faked a Majora's Mask run that would have been the second best time by just making up splits and starting a stream near the end of the game, was promptly called out as a cheater and wrote a sob story pastebin about how he did it because of his depression.
  23.
  24. LukeSaward

  37. Known splicer in the Super Mario Sunshine community. People would often joke about him splicing, but when he got his claimed 1:31:06 World Record, cosmo, jiano, sicko, and frosticles showed up in the irc and asked him to reset his console during the credits as proof he was playing. He was unable to do so.
  38.
  39. Raelcun
  40. Used a Turbo controller when running The Legend of Dragoon and denied it when he was asked if he did use one. Stated that he would provide a video proving the accusation wrong but has yet to follow up that statement

  46. Submitted faked Goldeneye IL videos to the-elite.net. He revealed his cheating and said it was to expose the low standard of verification. He later revealed that that was a lie and he really cheated because getting his times beaten by a better runner, who doesn't care about them, reminded him of when his girlfriend cuckolded him with a guy, who didn't care about her.
  47.
  48. Samuraiman
  49. Cheated in an Ocarina of Time race according to Cosmo.
  50.

  53.
  54. Slynki
  55. A Halo speedrunner who made several notable single-segment speedruns of several Halo games over the years, all of which have been spliced. He has been under heavy suspicion for years, but denied ever having cheated. He confessed after audio analysis brough definite evidence of splicing.
  56.
  57. TSA
  58. Submitted several spliced Zelda runs to SDA and got them past verification. Splices in his Ocarina of Time runs have been noted due to skips in the music and splices in his Zelda 1 run have been noted due to impossible item drops. Other runs by him may be real, but to be safe all his runs have been removed from SDA. He denies having ever cheated and stopped speedrunning.

  61. Admitted to submitting fake Sonic IL times to The Sonic Center at the age of 9 and got banned for 6 months as punishment. Has evaded the ban several times with new accounts and got many more cheat accusations over the years, but no concrete proof of them. More recently he has also been accused of replaying Sonic TASes on stream, but again there was no evidence.
  62.
  63. WhiteAris
  64. He denies having ever cheated and sees himself as the victim of a bullying campaign instead.
  65.
  66. Zukoza
  67. Spliced a Super Meat Boy World Record run. He went on to delete all his videos and not to have them shared and "be forgotten". His second best time and former World Record was found to be spliced and he admitted to cheating, but maintains that his other runs including the claimed former World Record run are legitimate.
