× Yu Jin is very quiet. Almost like she blends into the background. She keeps her opinion to herself, unless she finds it absolutely necessary. She finds it hard to socialize because of her immense fear of judgement. She in fact, has social anxiety.
When she does speak however, it is never without a hint of sass and a passive aggressive undertone.
She is very creative and has a marvelous mind. But sometimes that mind overthinks... everything. She comes up with lots of amazing stories and draws very well, but her creative mind over-analyzes and comes up with the most absurd theories.
She is very insecure and thinks little of her talents. No matter how many times she is told, she never believes that she is pretty, or talented, or special.
But one of her most well known traits is her insane laziness. She values her pillow more than life itself and would gladly do anything, even public speaking, if it meant she could spend the rest of her day in bed.

× Yu Jin's parents worked in the homes of many wealthy people as maids, caretakers, butlers, and personal assistants, whatever the contract required. So she lived in and out of many homes. She was surrounded by many snotty, rich children and never really fit in. She tried really hard to act like them and dress like them, but it never worked out. She was teased about her overactive mind and about how she looked and how flat she was. She was told that she shouldn't try to do anything because it was a waste of her time. So she just started being quiet, and nobody noticed. She used the lack of attention to develop her skills that she doesn't think much of. She cut herself off from the world and essentially went into a social slumber. She hasn't recovered and doesn't make many friends,

Boy: He saw her as antisocial and intriguing, but didn't do much because he wanted to respect her privacy.

× beginning: They meet at the cafe and have an awkward "Didn't we go to school together?..." moment and he compliments her artwork and she shrugs it off (not to be rude, but because it's habit)
× middle: She tries teaching him how to draw and gets paint on him, then it turns into a paint war. After it's done she freaks out because of how messy the room is.
× end: She gets fired from her job as a middle school art teacher for no reason and starts working at the cafe across the street (or at the same one as him, I don't care which one)
