More Serious Gaming Alan Antics

So, earlier I posted asking what the end goal was. It may have seemed white-knightish but I was trying to prove a point.
The background to this, I ended up speaking to Alan. I had said I wouldn't share these but after Unicorn_Mike's departure post I thought you may like the background to this and to also see what this subreddit is being accused of.

Me : No but in general it seems like you're mad at people in chat when you have a whole bunch of people who have been asking after you and don't want to see your stream destroyed
Me : Since it's been just vic streaming people are saying they're leaving until you're back or asking where you are - the answer she is giving is making it sound like you just abandoned stream and it's not the case at all
Me : She should be on your team not making things worse for you

Me : Even on Reddit people don't want that to happen to you. There are 1 or 2 stupid people who take things too far, they're the exception and you have to take that shit with a pinch of salt

SeriousGaming : I mean no one even has an idea of that woulda satisfied them. I mean she's crushed and people don't see it o guess cause she's gaming and at work. I mean it's not a normal job you have to try to push through things as much as you can. They want her to get a divorce and quit working , how would her being homeless help :(

Me : It may be sincere but it appears to be for the wrong reasons: that was like I'm sorry I got caught not I'm sorry I told a terrible lie. It doesn't even add up - how can it have been said to hurt you when it was messages between 2 people that you wouldn't have read.
SeriousGaming : I mean that girl leaking it and forcing people to pick names didn't help either to be honest. I mean it's all a shitty situation. It wasn't anyone people names or anything. And vic would never want anyone life ruined which is why she publicly apologized and said she said it wrong. I mean how can there be a way to Rectofy a mistake :( im open to your opinion for sure. If she said something in a text to a friend improperly using a word how can she rectofy it?

SeriousGaming : She didn't really think about any other party as did vic not think about it in the private text
Me : I have to say, you must have a pretty big heart if you can sit and still defend this.

SeriousGaming : I'm trying to understand how a friend could do this to another
Me : Having been cheated on I'd never choose the side of a cheater.
SeriousGaming : And how vic could say those things to her
SeriousGaming : Two massive massive life changing mistakes were made

SeriousGaming : This girl wanted and is activily wanting to destroy Vic's life
SeriousGaming : Vic 5 months ago told her friend she was practically raped in a massive misuse of words to a friend and completely crushed her friends heart
SeriousGaming : Let's forget about the impact it even has on me
SeriousGaming : I'm still trying to figure out how either situation is ok :(
SeriousGaming : But Sarah is continuing
SeriousGaming : Vic stopped talking to her 5 months ago :(

SeriousGaming : Vic likes to vent when mad
SeriousGaming : I never spoke ill of vic to anyone, guys don't really do that

Me : Most people vent about their partners

SeriousGaming : Vic didn't even know about Sarah being a victim :( she wasn't trying to do that either.
SeriousGaming : Vic is hugely bad at talking properly
SeriousGaming : People post daily on how shitty she speaks
SeriousGaming : It should be easier for people to understand how she misspoke that one sentence
SeriousGaming : She was trying to tell her friend she was ashamed of stuff that happened
SeriousGaming : And just said it all wrong
Me : Writing is different to speaking though
Me : Like if she used speech recognition then maybe but otherwise she had to sit and think about that and write it out. It was also like 3pm in afternoon so can't have been drunk talk
SeriousGaming : Only vic really know what she meant, she's explained it to me like 20 times even when she says it sounds confusing
Me : Logically makes no sense but if you're happy with the explanation that's what matters
SeriousGaming : If we were on voice call im@sure i could explain it for her but at the same time i could probably only explain it for her if you didn't already hold an opinion. Either way it's not an explanation of not hurting her friend just more of what actually happens inside of Vic's brain

Me : It's 2 separate issues; I think cheaters are scummy people, I've been cheated on and it messes you up inside

Me : But people weren't trying to interfere with your job they were standing up for you - there's stuff in chat about how people are bored or won't watch vic and to tell them when you're back
Me : Also just because you have fault doesn't justify people cheating

I'm not saying I don't do everything wrong but I really don't need an entire hate Reddit telling me just how terrible I am every hour of every day

Me : That's what made the other Reddit get so big because they were saying it was censored

Me : No but unfortunately it's part and parcel of being online, e.g. You have the people who think they have the strong personal relationship with you and there is the converse to that, the internet gives people the platform to say things they wouldn't normally say
Me : Even trip advisor... people are more inclined to write things when they are unhappy about something than when they are happy about it
Me : Doxxing I don't understand, I don't understand the thrill people get from that.
