- Intro:
- For some reason or another, you all received a letter from an unknown sender. It would tell you to make your way to the great city of Hadelall. As you entered the city, the guards all around would direct you to go to Lord Hane's dwelling at the core of the city.
- Along the way, you would see various houses of the people of Hadelall. There would be an Inn along the way, a tankard on the sign above the door that read Relvars Grace. A butchers shop, marked by the big open window on the front where all kinds of cuts of meat and poultry hung. As well as a sign that pointed off down a cross road that read Stables.
- Either way, the people knew you were to be the Champions meant to stop Arickens army, better than you do actually. And simply rush you along to go meet with the lord.
- The Mansion:
- As you reach the dwelling, you would find it quite humble compared to most of the dwellings that most of the lords live in. A simple, three story mansion instead of a castle. The yard would be surrounded by wrought iron fencing, with a large gate and a butler before the main entrance. As you near, he smiles at you all. "Welcome, the lord has been waiting for you. Please, follow me." He says, walking off towards the house and leaving the gate open.
- Upon reaching the house, he would open the large ornate Oak doors that covered the entrance, a carving of a man in robes on one side, with a chain leading from where you could assume the ankle would be to the other door. Upon the other door was an elegant carving of a woman with plain shorts and a t-shirt, her face being that of an elf and her body curvy and luscious. You would all know this as a depiction of Relvar, savior of Arenen and his Quinth, the mighty Crissa. The butler would motion for you to enter. "The first door on the left, Lord Hane awaits you in the parlor."
- The Mission:
- He then addresses the team as a whole again. "If you wish, you may go on to the Stables and they will provide you with a wagon that will take you onwards to Raphet. If you so wish, you may walk. But be warned, it is not easy to travel on foot from here. The edge of the desert is full of raiding parties, as well as the plains full of vile creatures." He says, putting emphasis on vile. He then scratches his beard, almost as if he were thinking if he missed anything. "Oh yes, and before you go, we will need you to do us a favor. The lord Sangudu of Thante is quite...unruly. And needs to learn a lesson. Will you set him straight for us? Whatever that means to you is what I would hope you do. But we have reason to believe he is in league with Aricken. Some even say he holds the Household power of the evil immortal. After you've dealt with business in Thante, you are to make the journey to Dassar. To undergo training under Relvar himself. Any questions?"
- The Carriage:
- The short man glad in chain armor smiled, motioning for them to follow him. He would show them to the back of the stables where a carriage that looked as if it were owned by Hane himself sat, with a pair of Arabian horses that seemed a bit too ripped for it to be healthy awaited them. Upon their chests were their names engraved in a plate of silver, one reading Reggie and the other Pedro. The man would promptly open the door of the carriage, showing the inside was covered in ornate fabrics of vibrant colors and designs. "The most luxury we have to offer, Champions." He says, motioning for them to enter.
- The Shrine:
- The party would find themselves within what seemed like a round room at the top of a tower. All kinds of golden and silver dishes and weaponry lay about, most fancily with all the inlaid precious stones and such. Piles of gold coins lay amok, literally littering the entire room. At the center sits a round table, upon this table sits an ornate oil lamp which burns with a bright green flame.
- You would all hear a voice, seemingly coming from the lamp itself. The voice urged them on. "One at a time, place your hand upon the lamp. I, the creator of magic, will allow you one Quinth for your bravery in this here dungeon. One of you lucky warriors will even get a boost to your resistance of magic, and be able to cast many more spells than you thought your body could handle."
