  1. [14:09] Inanis moved through the Ice covered wastelands with burning passion and desire being the only source of warmth to keep them inosculated. Too many times has he been shown to be weaker, Too many time Inanis has dropped the ball on opportunities to improve and become stronger than he was before. Thus Inanis tended to find what it was that separated him from his rivals.
  2.
  3. What made him inferior to the mortals here was his unwillingness to further himself to and to prepare for adversity, For so long the Nethradin drifted by the coattails of Sors, Knowing their Binder was powerful was enough to keep many from aiming for his head. Yet it did not improve or validate their opinion on him a single bit.
  4.
  5. What made him inferior to demons was the lack of initial power, Inanis had to struggle to regain the spectrum of mana he had today, And even then he was met with constant hurdles that Natural demons didn't have to face. The Nethradin had to be summoned here, They're powerrestricted and their life force maintained by that source.
  6.
  7. Inanis sat in the snow for a while thinking of all the things it could theorize as to what its position here was. Making Parallels to its hardships in Helheim there were times where they struggled and fought up against any who pressured them Still to this day that personality continues to be prevalent in his actions but what did he require to stand out above others in this matter.
  8.
  9. Inanis removed his armor and his cloak, His bare chest now feeling the winds and the subtleties within the air current in the Mountain Valley. Inanis reviewed what he had gone through and where it had lead him, They felt their powers had grown to a respectable degree in the last few years yet they knew it was still a process they were still relying far too much on Sors encouragement and support, They needed more, They needed to steal more influence and more power from any source that it could.
  10.
  11.
  12. (Inanis)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [14:35] The Nethradin rose from the snowy edges and began allowing themselves to concentrate to meditate on only the air flow. Wind Magic being one of its main expertise's especially when combined with the horrific nature of occultism the Mourngale was one of Inanis main weapons for combating against his foes.
  16.
  17. Mastering it further required more patience and more effort than the Nethradin currently possessed, Yet no matter how much they forced it they needed to realize they were fighting against the current of the winds instead of allowing it to set him freely as wind magics often do.
  18.
  19. The air current around Inanis began to get stronger, They're mind allowing mana to move and gather the winds and particles of snow that drifted into their magics.
  20.
  21. A pulsation of air marked each of their breaths kicking up snow and blowing trees back as they continued to inhale and exhale. Keeping its breathing in synch with the rhythm and flow of its mana.
  22.
  23. Air magic gathering around Inanis palms as he thrusts it forward, Blasting a general breeze of air flow towards the direction he was facing, As it crashed into the mountain side with immense force.
  24.
  25. Inanis began reciting to themselves a mantra that helped them carve into the wind better, Allowed them to focus on their desires and their goals. To be as powerful as Zaruma was. To be as commanding and as threating as Sors was.
  26.
  27. But how? The winds continued to swirl around Inanis fists, As the launched another thrust towards the Stone wall they faced, They're palms opening flatly to panel the wind towards his target.
  28. (Inanis)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [15:04] Mourngale was another facet of the wind, Inanis thought about ways it could channeled Mourngale into its attacks how it could benefit from training each of them to a higher standard. It had been known already to Inanis that through violent actions caused by the elements occultic combinations could be birthed, and then Manifested through such actions, To Inanis he used the suffering of the star and the unfortunate souls he absorbed to further drain on their life essences and reap the benefits of the screams of suffering and dismantle their will to resist the creature.
  32.
  33. They're screams fueled his own, Inanis had roared and growled in almost every direction yet he could not master the very nature of his presence. The suffering of mortals was what they existed for and yet they had not been able to spread disaster as they pleased. Again the winds were pushed together, energy being expended to refute any resistance, Air currents soon growing darker and darker as Inanis drew in more mana and expressed their occultic essences within his element.
  34.
  35. Obsidian winds began to dance around Inanis hanging like blades around the creature as they focused their desire. Inanis needed a more powerful attack, One that would utilize the Wind Magic and the Mourngale magic to they're absolute extremes. Something that could shatter their foes from a great distance while suppressing any chance that they could avoid his onslaught of attacks.
  36.
  37. They had increased the amount of their power a great deal and now it was time to put their expertise to the test, Mourngale winds wrapped around their arms, Inanis ignoring their injuries fighting through the pain of his burns to continue their training, They're own suffering only adding to the ravaging effects of the Mourngale.
  38.
  39. Winds that shred and sheer their foe in any number of ways, Slicing into their flesh and forcing them to bleed before introducing a curse that only furthers that damage. Inanis had created many forms of tornados his most prominent was when combined with the Mourngale winds, Blasting a high volume of compressed air towards his foes. The incredibly powerful spell known as 'Howl of the Banshee' which was able to fell his foes in quite a few instances. Mackenzie and Ray being one of them. Yet they needed another way to further an attack like that.
  40.
  41. Inanis created an image in their mind, An idea of how the attack would look like, A spiraling drill of occultic winds, Taking that idea they began to shape the magic around his arm as best he could. choosing purposely not to use his staff needing to be able to conduct the mana of the Living realm better with out it. Of course not knowing what the risks of using an untrained Spell without knowing what the outcome would be.
  42.
  43. The air continued to spiral around Inanis arms, and Like before they'd release the winds with a powerful thrust towards the cliff side, Although this time Inanis had envisioned the attack as a drill rotating at great speeds, Piercing through his foe and blowing a hole directly inside them, In this instance it would be the cliff. The blast pressing into the mountain side only penetrating a few meters into the hardened rock.
  44.
  45. Inanis' face showed disappointment before gathering themselves to attempt the process again, Repositioning themselves to get into a better stance so the palm strike could travel at the most beneficial speed, Their armored grieves keeping them somewhat balanced in the snowy foot holds, Inanis would try something different this time, Instead of amassing more force, They'd first start small, and refine the shape of the spell before introducing more power to it.
  46.
  47. Taking deep breaths allowing the Air to flow within them they moved their right arm backwards leaving their left arm, hanging down low to gather the mana and transfer for it towards his right Palm.
  48. (Inanis)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [15:27] The pressure continued to be built the very same method they used to increase the pressure before now implemented, Hard winds, and softer winds came into focus as Inanis began forming a miniature tornado around his right Palm.
  52.
  53. Next he focused his intentions onto the Wind Weapon. Sharpen, Piercing, Drilling, Imagining these traits within its mind, thinking of physical weapons the spell could take the shape of that could better its ability to do the task Inanis wanted for it.
  54.
  55. It had to be faster, Stronger than any other attack they've used prior. It remembered, All the weapons they've encountered in both the Living realm and Helheim.
  56.
  57. More essences was drawn from the Star, More energies were invested into invigorating Inanis to allow for this spell to be created, The technique required much concentration and every time Inanis would be distracted or lose their patients the spell would erupt before they managed to do launch it.
  58.
  59. But the Nethradin continued, Forcing itself to improve, Forcing itself to stand out instead of fall back into the side lines, Inanis trained every day with this intention, With this charisma to become better.
  60.
  61. After a few hours of trying Inanis finally and successfully got the shape he wanted, Something that could pierce through the air while launching a massive attack upon his foe. Inanis thought of more ways this could be improved upon, Increasing the rotation speed, Increasing the amount of occultism needed to launch it forwards and the amount of wind magic required to sustain the attack even beyond that.
  62.
  63. It would be a short but powerful explosion of force that would in theory catch his opponent off guard at any interval. And with a final practicing swing Inanis launched the technique towards the stone faced wall, the spell crashing into wall before drilling into the surface grinding and shredding through the stone like a power drill would false wood. Although there was some resistance Inanis' passion and desire to succeed made the spell all the more powerful, All the more reactive to the Nethradin's influence, Before finally a powerful burst of occultism made the final push making a full and clean hole launched through the sheer cliff side.
  64.
  65. About the diameter of a tennis ball although this was just the start to a much larger spell, The beginnings of something even greater, And more hours were poured into making the circumference of the holes he was able to create with the spell larger, and larger Inanis telling themselves that this spell won't be powerful enough unless it could pierce a hole into a mountain.
  66.
  67. Had they wanted to become the strongest? Had they truly wanted to become the Tempest? They needed to pour every ounce and every drop of mana into improving themselves. And after a few months of training and time spent away from the more public areas of the mountain Inanis was capable of at the very least creating an attack that could be used in a variety of ways. Although they knew this attack would need more and more practice.
  68.
  69. The technique now involved utilizing their body as billow to spew the winds while forging the shape within their own body, And through trial and error Inanis came to the conclusion that this was the best method of applying his new spell, Creating a turbine like eruption of wind magic within his body and channeling it through their nostrils and through their mouth Inanis was able to create a Vortex like effect, Sucking all the air from the surroundings and pushing it out and such an immense speed that it could easily carve directly into the stone wall leaving behind a beachball shaped hole.
  70.
  71.
  72. (Inanis)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [15:33] The training didn't end, Inanis needed more and more experience, And even though they had the potential to do such invaluable and great things they had the desire to push themselves forward, Despite its reputation and its losing streak.
  76.
  77. More power wasn't something it needed, or wanted in truth what Inanis required was the confidence within itself and the ambition to strive to be more than a simple weapon, It wanted to be a assured Supporter to Sors Ultovex, an ally to them and quite possibly one of their greatest and most relied upon assets.
  78.
  79. After spending time going over its basics in wind magic once again, Near the end of its training Inanis began to form higher opinions of its desires, Making their goals clear, Allowing for themselves to be cooled by the icy winds of the Living Realm embracing the disparity there was here. No longer could they allow for its anger to overrule its desires,
  80.
  81. It needed to be more like the Virulent Tempest, Violent and ever changing and unpredictable, and that was the goal Inanis aimed for with even more drive than before.
  82.
  83. The techniques meant little if he trained all by himself after all, Thus he'd focus on fixing his injures. And getting back to sparring and finding prey to hunt and gain more experience in combat against.
  84. (Inanis)
