𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃::
Soonyi was born in London, England but was brought up in Gwangju, South Korea. Growing up, she had a small group of friends and she was known to be the mother of the group. She never really branched out and made other friends as she was not as confident as she is now. In school, she kept to herself and her small group of friends. She was quite smart and often got one of the top grades in her class but she didn't like people knowing this because this would draw attention to her.

In Korea, Soonyi's parents owned quite a popular cafe and she often did little jobs here and there to help them out as they had a limited amount of staff. She enjoyed working at the shop a meeting new and interesting people. She even enjoyed listening to the music and bopping along to it. One day, her mother became very sick, and it turned out that she had a blood clot. She was soon nursed back to health but this made her parents think. They soon talked to Soonyi essentially saying that, they weren't getting any younger and at some point they wouldn't be fit enough to run the cafe. This made Soonyi cry but it also made her promise that she would take over the restaurant no matter when she had to. This was a promise to them but also herself. For the next few years, she would be learning the different skills and tricks that her parents used around the cafe so that she knew what to do when the time came.

When Soonyi was 25, her mum died of a heart attack unbeknownst to everyone as she hadn't shown symptoms of a normal heart attack. This destroyed both her and her dad. She knew that she had to assume her mum's role in the cafe. Soonyi was 26, when her dad died of kidney failure due to having high blood pressure. At this point, Soonyi made the decision to close the shop for a short while to recuperate and figure herself out. The customers understood as they had found out about her parents death.

After almost a year, Soonyi was ready to open up the cafe. As people started coming back, they would all ask how she was doing and she would always tell them that she was okay because although she couldn't bring her parents back, she knew she had to be strong for them. The cafe quickly became the busy place it used to be and it was clear that she needed to hire more staff but she couldn't bring herself to do it just yet.

• Protective = she is always anxious that something bad will happen to people that are closest to her. She is very over-protective of her friends because she doesn't want anything bad to happen to them. Anyone who tries to hurt or bad mouth them, she will go off on.
• Hard worker = she works hard tirelssly in the shop and tends to overwork herself. This is one of the reasons why she is often stressed out. People often tell her to hire more people but she refuses to as she doesn't want to disappoint her parents.
• Selfless = she tends to put people before herself and this is nice however this means she tends to get hurt. She is working on being more for herself than for other people though she is finding it hard to transition.
• Caring = she shows genuine worry and care for her friends when they seem off. She will try everything in her ability to find out if they are okay and if they aren't, she will do anything she can to make sure they are. She likes to look after the girls.
• Motherly = she looks over the girls and people she is close to like a mother would and helps them through tough situations. She would not purposefully let something bad happen to them and would do anything in her power to stop it. She tries to make sure that she is always around in order for her to know what is going on. You could definitely describe her as the mother of the group.
• Closed-off = she doesn't really talk to people about her deep emotions and only talks about stuff she is feeling on the outside when it comes to herself. She can gladly talk about deep emotions when it comes to her members but won't when it comes to her. This is because she likes to put others before herself even when she shouldn't.
• Wise = she is really good at giving advice about situations that are hard to deal with. She is the person you go to when you need the cold hard truth or just a piece of honest advice. She is able to see things from different perspectives and that is why she is one of the best people to go to for advice.
• Supportive = she provides encouragement and emotional help when needed for her close friends. She is someone who works hard in the background because she doesn't need everyone to see her good deeds. If anyone needs to talk about hardships, she always welcomes people into her house to talk, whether it be day or night.
• Easily frustrated = she gets easily frustrated and when she does, she tends to be rude and angry. She tends to shout at the others and ignore them. This is because she is constantly under a lot of stress and her nerves are always getting the best of her so she just takes out her frustration on the others.

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐇𝐈𝐌?:: They met because he used to go to her cafe. Whenever he was at her cafe, they would make interesting conversation and they often learnt more and more about each other. At this time, he had already debuted with his members and they were already a two year old group. He knew Soonyi knew this; however, he found comfort in the fact that she didn't act like a crazed fan and she treated him like a human being. They quickly became friends as they were very comfortable around each other and would often hang out together outside of her cafe, obviously being inconspicuous.

𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒::
Inside the show|
1. The girls have a girls night where they talk about everything going on in their lives, their boyfriends/husbands and anything else.
2. They go to the beach late at night with glowsticks and lanterns and they go swimming in the sea and just have a fun evening.
3. One of the girls accidentally says something rude about someone's boyfriend/husband and they get angry and storm out so Soonyi has to play the peacekeeper and goes to the girl and tries to get the girl to understand that it was a mistake and brings the girl back in.
4. The show almost ending early because some of the girls get into a big fight and say that they don't want to do the show anymore. The next episode is postponed and people actually think that is the end but then after a couple of day, they tell everyone that they have sorted everything out and the show is back on.

Love interest|
1. He takes her to her first awards show and she is in awe. They sit together and Soonyi can't help but silently squeal at all the celebrities that she is seeing. Shinee actually end up winning an award and she seemed happier than them.
2. During the earlier days of their relationship, she sees that Jin Ki hasn't come to her cafe in almost a week and she is noticabley sad. but then on Friday, he finally comes and she is visibly happier. He apologised for not coming in but explained that it was because he had to do a lot of trainnig for their comeback.
3. Talking about their future together while they have a movie night. They discuss how they don't really want kids. They are both clearly relieved to find out that neither of them want kids. They finish the night off with a funny movie.
4. She and Jin Ki get caught kissing in a park. Luckily Soonyi had her hood up so nobody knew it was her. They only find out when they get home and see him all over the tabloids.
5. They accidentally reveal their relationship when Jin Ki was doing a livestream and Soonyi came in not realising he was live. So she sits on his lap and kisses him only for him to quickly pull away. He frantically taps her saying that he was live. So she turns her head and sees that he is live and screams then immediately covers her face. He ended the livestream and they discussed how they might as well reveal thier relationship now that most of his fans know. She apologised numerous times but he said it was okay. They started a new live and told everyone about their relationship.
6. Jin Ki helping her in her cafe even though she didn't want him to because he knew that she was being overwhelmed with work. At the end of the day, she says thank you and this is when Jin Ki decides to tell her that it was time to hire some employees in this place. She knew that there was no point in arguing and decided that tomorrow she would start making flyers to show that there were vacancies.

They have a similar maturity level and Soonyi knows that if she ever needed to talk to someone, VIEW would be one of the first people that she would go to. They both understand how each other work and so they find it easy to get along.

They do talk and they do get along however, she is not as close to her as she is with some of the others. When they talk, they get along but since they don't have much in common, it is not a usual occurance for them to talk much but Soonyi does want to get closer to her.
