  1. So the stream is finished and I actually have a mouthful to say, but certain rules on GameFAQs have my hands tied. The basic rule has sound logic and reasons, as well as its definite place, but there are problems with the lengths to which GameFAQs will enforce it, problems that showcase how they'd ignore potential usefulness in the interest of bureaucracy for its own sake. Let's just say it would be welcome if the Anti-Air Tank could deal 125% base to Infantry, which would mean 1HKO through +20% DEF in the older games.

  3. There are some points that I'm beginning to understand, even if they still don't change the underlying issues involved, partially because the games haven't thought to emphasize flanking better. I'd be up for sharing elsewhere, but unfortunately, some people want to make things political using ad hominems while accusing me of doing the same. They have already harassed me and accused me of doing that to them because of convenient location, something I complained about to a recent figure relating to SFW to showcase their seething lack of empathy when they claim they're somehow made defensive by my paragraphs which I'm forced to do when they arbitrarily downvote me to the point where I can't make terse posts to respond to their spam-responses. It's particularly teeth-gnashing when they'll claim they've been trying to get rid of the troll for years when there's clear evidence to the contrary in their support of a guy who mocks everybody from lust-induced murder victims to makers of Spiritual Successor attempts to the map designers on Advance Wars By Web.

  5. Oh they do have a core motive: "muh pvp." Yes, it's a God awful motive, and it makes the Spiritual Successor maker bashing even less excusable. If they're going to accuse those people of arrogance, they should look in the mirror. What they do is clear-cut cultism akin to what you see happen with Super Smash Bros. Melee, a game that gets popular because of glitch abuse and then its "fans" complain when that stuff gets cut out in later games. Not that Sakurai is perfect--he shouldn't be afraid to use good buffers for SSB's own (intended) sense of energy--but those glitches got cut for valid reasons and now that I think about it, the whole "nerf Greninja" meme gets disgusting when you realize that it happened as a result of people being unwilling to adapt to a clear glitch that was persistently abused by them getting patched. Those people I complain about? They claim you have no business talking about balance if you don't want to learn how to fart better.

  7. These certain people attack me because they look for any scapegoat they can find for their garbage. Fact is, they're just like those *NASTY* competitors in that farce called the newest episode of Star VS The Forces Of Evil from just now. That episode made me want to vomit over the needless hostility and lack of sympathy toward Marco, and it's simply because the competitors made excuses for their clearly excessive nonsense without considering what the other side thinks for one second. Those certain people are no different, and ain't that interesting: <b><i>THEY MAKE EXCUSES AT ALL, OUT OF THEIR OWN WEAKNESS AT THAT, WHILE SAYING THINGS LIKE "NO JOHNS."</i></b>

  9. Maybe I could, oh right, post my thoughts about the game design stuff, but sadly, these people want to literally get in the way of that sort of thing any way they can.
