  1. Version Alpha v1.0.0 - August 20th 2021:
  2. - Game released.

  4. Version Alpha v1.1.0 - November 4th 2021:
  5. * Fixed various bugs.

  33. 1.1 Balance Changes:
  34. * All classes' Max Health increased significantly to improve overall survivability.
  35.  
  36. * Critical Hits disabled for all skills. Skill damage variance has been set to 0%. Evading has been removed. Debuff duration is now set to the same every time.
  37. - We want fair battles, so we won't allow for any of the participating sides to have an unfair advantage, that is determined by random values!

  39. * Flame now deals damage as well. Previously, it only inflicted the Burning debuff.
  40. - This should allow it to be used more often.

  42. * Heal's healing increased significantly. MP Cost increased 5 -> 20.
  43. * Peaceful Song's healing increased significantly. TP Cost increased 30 -> 50.
  44. - All healing skills' healing has been increased significantly to match with the new Max Health.

  76. * Focus has been reworked:
  77. Name: Focus -> Overcharge
  78. Effect: 2 stacks of DMG Buff -> Gives an Overcharge buff, that doubles Magic DMG, but doubles MP Cost. Lasts for 2 actions.
  79. MP Cost: 5 -> 0
  80. - Both the changes to Focus and to the 75 MP skills, should make it much harder, to use the "Focus + 75 MP Skill" combo.

  82. * Blessing has been reworked:
  83. Name: Blessing -> Cleanse
  84. Effect: Gives any selected ally a Magic DMG buff for 2 turns, that can also stack up to 2 times. -> Removes most debuffs on the selected ally.
  85. MP Cost: 15 -> 20
  86. - There will be a new skill that will cause the same effect as this one, so Blessing is being reworked.

  88. * Meditate has been buffed:
  89. Recovers 20% HP/MP -> Recovers 50% HP/MP
  90. - Testers reported this skill as underpowered, so I decided to buff it up a little bit.

  92. * Flaming Phoenix has been reworked:
  93. Name: Flaming Phoenix -> Flame Shield
  94. Effect: Defense/Magic Defense and Burning on user. -> Gives a Flame Shield buff. While it's active, the wearer takes 20% less Magic DMG.
  95. Cooldown: 0 turns -> 3

  97. * Guard has been buffed:
  98. MP Gain: 0% -> 15%
  99. Effect: Guard effect -> Guard effect & Max HP and Defense buff for 3 turns
  100. - The buff to Guard, should help make it be used more often.
  101.  
  102. * Candy, Pumpkin Juice, Un-boo-lievably Cute Snack healing reduced. Their price has also been lowered due to this change.
  103. - They were healing for way too much.
  104.  
  105. Version Alpha v1.2.1 - July 16th 2022:
  106. * Fixed the bugs in the Smith quest.
  107. * Added more skills for the Orb for every Mage class.
  108. * Added a new AOE skill for the Fire Mage, Cryo Mage, and Holy Mage classes.
  109. * The EXP reward of the "The Next Step" quest has been increased from 2000 to 2500, in order to make it so the player reaches Level 15 by the time they get to Chapter 2.
  110. * The Doubloon drop of the Level 10 Bat enemy has been decreased from 100 to 50.
  111. * The drop chance of the Sharkonian Fin has been increased from 10% to 25%.
  112. - As a result, the item's value has decreased from 250 Doubloons to 150 Doubloons.
  113. * The Goblin Potion and the Goblin Glove now also make the user deal 40% less damage.
  114. - This was done to combat the very useful x2 Doubloon Drop effect. Now it gives the player a giant risk when wearing this glove.

  116. 1.2.1 Balance Changes:
  117. * The Pix enemy has been buffed:
  118. - Her Magic Damage stat is increased from 20 to 24.
  119.  
  120. * Moved all the 100 MP AOE skills from Level 10 to Level 15. (This change does not apply to Norman's class)
  121. - This is to make space for the new, weaker AOE skill that will unlock at Level 10.

  123. * Soak status has been buffed:
  124. Now it also increases the target's Ice damage taken by 20%.

  126. * Burning status has been buffed:
  127. Now it also removes the Ice Shield status.

  129. Version Alpha v1.2.2 - July 17th 2022:
  130. * Norman's battle sprites have been fixed. Hair will no longer pop out of his hat.
  131. * The title screen received a background change.
  132. * The "Runner" achievement is no longer repeatable. Now it has 3 tiers, from 1,000 steps, then 10,000 steps, and finally 100,000 steps.
  133. * Mithan got a major redesign. A lot of new shops were added, there's another house, and now you can enter the Inn!
  134. * Norman's House got a major redesign. The whole layout of the house has been rearranged, and it also became a lot smaller.
  135. * The Barracks got a major redesign. It also became bigger.
  136. * There are many new recovery items, which can be bought at the new shops in Mithan.
  137. * There are 3 new Quests.
  138. * There's 1 new Achievement.
  139. * Fixed the bug in the Illusion Forest, that was related to the Step Sounds system.
  140. * Added the ability to skip the flashback scene after the Orc Rebels fight.

  142. 1.2.2 Balance Changes:
  143. * Magic Curse skill has been nerfed:
  144. The MP Cost has been increased from 20 to 50.
  145.  
  146. * Meditate skill has been buffed:
  147. Now it also removes most debuffs, like "Cleanse" and "Keep It Clean!" do.
  148.  
  149. * The Pix enemy has been nerfed:
  150. Her Magic Damage stat is decreased from 24 to 20.
  151. - After the Magic Defense nerf to the armors, she became a lot stronger. So in order to offset that, her damage has been returned to the previous value.

  153. * The Level 8 Bat enemy has been buffed:
  154. The Physical Damage stat is increased from 8 to 10.
  155.  
  156. * The Level 10 Bat enemy has been buffed:
  157. The Physical Damage stat is increased from 10 to 14.

  159. * The Level 16 Dark Bat enemy has been buffed:
  160. The Physical Damage stat is increased from 16 to 18.
  161. The Magical Damage stat is increased from 16 to 18.
  162.  
  163. * The Scorpion enemy has been buffed:
  164. The level is increased from 10 to 15.
  165. The Physical Damage stat is increased from 10 to 16.
  166. The Magical Damage stat is increased from 10 to 18.

  168. * All Mage Armors have been nerfed:
  169. Decreased Magic Defense gained by half. Example: Magic Robe gave 2 Defense and 4 Magic Defense, now it gives only 2 Defense and 2 Magic Defense.
  170. - This was done to make certain fights a lot more difficult because they became too easy with the very high Magic Defense the player was able to get.

  172. * Orc Badge has been nerfed:
  173. Decreased Max HP gained from 40 to 20.
  174.  
  175. * Rebellion Leader Badge has been nerfed:
  176. Decreased Max HP gained from 80 to 40.
  177.  
  178. * Sturdy buff has been reworked:
  179. Defense and Magic Defense 20% boost has been removed, but the Max HP boost has been increased from 20% to 30%.
  180. The duration has also been increased from 3 turns, to 5 turns.
