- MARTIN SCORPIO (to Jules)
- Come up here I'll show you the real thing.
- JULES
- You've been eating in my face all day.
- MARTIN
- Come on. I'm not eating any more vegetables, and you aren't.
- JULES
- Well, what is it? What's wrong with me?
- MARTIN
- I just can't stand the sight of you! You're disgusting! We just have to put you back in a box!
- JULES
- It's fine, Martin. I need to stop, don't I?
- MARTIN
- Look here. There's something for you.
- He pulls a small metal box out from his pocket, opens it, and pulls out a black leather bag. Jules looks it up in surprise. She pulls an armful of vegetables from it, and watches Martin toss them in her face. She runs down to the door and starts ripping one off. Martin keeps tossing in the vegetables, but she eventually has enough. Martin puts the metal box back on the counter.
- JULES
- Well, I guess we've got you a long way from home...
- Martin glances down at the empty bag.
- MARTIN
- I'm sorry. I couldn't resist.
- JULES
- It's okay. You were going to have to eat some.
- MARTIN
- What's with you? Did you just...
- Then he notices, in the corner, a large, black box. He puts it down.
- MARTIN
- What was that?! They weren't vegetables.
- JULES
- No, they were chicken strips.
- MARTIN
- Wait a minute! I thought you said that's vegetarian.
- JULES
- It's not. That's chicken!
- Martin stands up and shakes his head. Jules grabs the bag and pulls out several slices of chicken. Then she sees a chicken drumstick. It's in a plastic wrapper and she picks it up and throws it in the trash. She takes a napkin from the trash and holds it up to Jules' face.
- JULES
- (referring to Jules' face)
- Oh, I love that face. That looks like a chicken drumstick.
