Kelsey might be dead

Covet: Kelsey had her head resting on her arms as she too deep breaths trying to get her head to stop throbbing. // Connor was working on some workbook game thingy on his leap tablet. He couldn't hear what was being said so he turned up the sound some more on it, still at an acceptable level though.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad sat next to Kelsey in the booth, moving his hand to rest on her back as he gave it a gentle rub, unsure of what he could do to make her feel better. "Do you want some tea? I could order you some tea. Or I could run to the pharmacy and get you something? Do you want that?" He asked, not trying to badger her, but he totally was. At least it was with good intentions.-
Covet: Kelsey shook her head, then mumbled. "Connor turn it back down please, it's too loud." She sighed and lifted her head a little. "Maybe some tea, caffiene might help, I think it's just stress though." She said, though she had a sneaking suspicion that it had more to do with her more than just sparing use of cocaine,however she'd never admit it at this point.// Connor frowned, "But Momma it's not that loud." He pouted but didn't turn it down.
Alexithymiaa: "Turn it down, little man. Momma doesn't feel well." Brad said a little more sternly than Kelsey had, continuing to rub her back. "Caffeine usually helps headaches." He said to her, waving his arm in the air to flag down a waitress so he could order Kelsey a cup of tea. "Chocolate usually helps me for that."-
Covet: "I'm not really in the mood for chocolate, I'm not really hungry at all." She said as she rubbed the bridge of her nose wincing. "Connor, pretty please." She asked again. // Connor sighed and turned the volume down, "Can I have some hot chocolate?" He asked Brad pushing his tablet to the side.
Alexithymiaa: "Sure, but you need to let it cool down before you sip it." He said, waiting until the waitress came back with Kelsey's hot water and tea bag and ordering Connor a cup of hot chocolate. Unwrapping the tea bag from the paper, he dropped it into the water and dunked it a few times before pushing it toward her. "Have some."-
Covet: Kelsey picked up her spoon and opened up a couple of sugar packets up and added it to the tea giving it a stir. "Thanks hun. I appreciate it." She told him as she took a small sip from the mug. // Connor nodded his head, "Okay with extra whipped cream and the chocolate syrup please!" He asked the waitress before she walked off to go get it, making sure to add milk to it to cool it off even more so he didn't burn himself.
Alexithymiaa: "That's a lot of sugar, kid." Brad said to him, but he didnt actually care all that much. He'll care later when Connor is bouncing off the walls at bedtime. He watched Kelsey doctor her tea and take a sip, running his fingers through her hair. "If you keep sipping that, it should take the edge off your headache. Caffeine is a miracle drug." Hah. Hah.-
Covet: Kelsey looked over at Brad and raised an eyebrow at him. " I'm not sure about that, but It's helping to relax me at the very least." She said keeping her eyes closed. "You're going to stay up with him when he can't sleep? Because I'm so going to bed when we get done here."
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhhh...." He trailed off, swinging his glance to Connor and then back to Kelsey looking pathetic and miserable. "Sure... I guess... but he'll crash quick anyway." He tried to tell himself through his sigh.-
Covet: "Thanks hun. I really appreciate it." She said as she put her head back down after another few drinks of her tea. // Connor shook his head, "I won't be up late, Momma. Hot chocolate makes me sleepy." He said like a liar.
Alexithymiaa: "That's not even funny." He told Connor, moving his hand to Kelsey's arm to give it a gentle rub. "If you want, I can see if they have a dispenser in the bathroom with Advil or something?" He asked her as the waitress brought Connor's hot chocolate out.-
Covet: "It's cute that he tried though." Kelsey said with a slightly amused look on her face. "I think all they have is condoms and other bathroom necessities in those things." // Connor looked at Brad, "No I'm serious Dad. It does! Last time I drank it I remember I was awake and doing stuff then I was asleep and in my bed."
Alexithymiaa: "Okay buddy." Brad said as he kind of wrote Connor off because everyone knows the kid will crash eventually. "Sometimes they have Advil. You never know. It couldn't hurt to check, right? Do you want me to check?"-
Covet: "Sure if you think there might be some in there." Kelsey said, more or less giving in, because she didn't think the advil would work anyways. She watched the waitress set down Connor's hot chocolate for him and walked off. " Don't drink it too quick, but just remember we're going to have to go home soon, Kiddo." // "Okay Momma." He said as he dove into the whipped cream getting it all over his face.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay, I'll be right back." He slid out of the booth and turned around to head back into the bathroom hallway, ducking into the mens room to assess the dispenser situation in there. He returned empty handed several minutes later, lingering over the table. "Do you have any quarters?"-
Covet: Kelsey lifted her head up, then went to dig into her purse, "Uh.. maybe..." She said grabbing a dollar's worth out for Brad. // Connor looked at Kelsey handing Brad quarters, "Momma can I have some quarters too?"
Alexithymiaa: "You don't need quarters." He said aas he took the quarters from kelsey and ventured back to the bathrooms. He returned another few minutes later with a little plastic casing of two Advil, setting it down on the table for her and sliding into the booth beside her. "That should help you."-
Covet: Kelsey heard Brad's comment and didn't get Connor the quarters he asked for. // Connor pouted and crossed his arms when he was told no. "Why do you get quarters and I don't? I just want a bouncy ball."
Alexithymiaa: "Because I used the quarters for medicine for Momma. You don't need a bouncy ball, you have your hot chocolate." He said, gesturing to the mug in front of Connor. "Momma doesn't feel good."-
Covet: "Connor, no more arguing tonight. I've had enough tonight." She said with a more stern voice as she took the advil and swallowed it back too. // Connor sank down into his seat and went back to his hot chocolate not talking, just keeping to himself now since he'd gotten in trouble.
Alexithymiaa: -He wwaited for Kelsey to take the advil and then nudged the tea closer to her. "Between that and the caffeine, you should feel better. And then we can go home and put you right to bed."-
Covet: "Thank you. I'm sorry I'm so disfunctional tonight. This kind of hit out of nowhere." She frowned then leaned into him. "But you're the best, you know that" She gave him a pained smile.
Alexithymiaa: "It's not your fault. You have nothing to apologize for." He told her with a smile, brushing her hair back out of her face. "Oh I know, but being reminded is great too."-
Covet: "I just feel like I could be doing better right now. But thanks for being understanding." She said then looked over at Connor who was nearly finished with his hot chocolate by now. "You ready to go now kiddo?" She asked him.// Connor gave a shrug and sighed, "Yeah I guess. But I'm not really tired."
Alexithymiaa: "But I thought hot chocolate makes you tired?" Brad asked him condescendingly because you fucking LIAR. He slipped out of the booth and turned to face Kelsey, offering her his hands to help her up.-
Covet: Bradly... Please don't get into it with him tonight, He's already got an attitude. // Connor glared at Brad, "It's not working yet, it takes time. I'll be sleepy by the time we get home, but Momma needs it, so let's go."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm just saying..." He mumbled, helping her up to her feet. "We'll get you into bed and asleep and you'll wake up feeling refreshed and better in the morning."-
Covet: "Yeah that sounds wonderful." Kelsey said as she slid out of the booth and took Brad's hand so they could go out to the car all family like and such.
