  1. -Page 33-
  2. As i left i had virtually no idea where to go really, so i decided just to head home. For some reason my mom didnt pick me up from school like she always would, so maybe there was some truth to all this. You'll never guess who was there though, the one guy i never thought would show up. There he was, overgrown facial hair, he stank like a rotten shoe or maybe a swelling fungus on a mushroom; he had the most empty, cold piercing look ive ever seen in quite some time. You guessed it, ol Daddy Dearest had come to pick me up from school. He said "Get in" and just nodded in the direction of the car. For my money, i dont think i could have asked for a scarier ride, even if it was at the worst amusement park. My dad was probably the most cryptic people of all time. But more so for me, because of what i now know.
  3. In the car, he kept perfect posture, his eyes glazing through the windshield like lasers. Not once did his head move, or his eyes blink. It was like a futuristic robot was driving someone around in a taxi. Not once did he say a word, even after i looked at him like i wanted to talk about something. Could something have happened to him? I kept asking him why my mom didnt pick me up but he just grunted and mumbled random naysayings under his breath, but nothing that would even constitute an actual sentence. In case you havent been following along, i was almost positive my dad has something really wrong with him. And if what my real mom said was true, it might not even be my real dad. Which is exactly what or who i need to help find Davenport Inc..
  4. When we got home, he stopped the car, and mumbled "get out" in a stern sort of tone. Part of me almost thought he knew everything i knew at this time. But that was one of those unnecessarily bad feelings, that fortunately cant come true. Or can they? So i got out of the car and headed in, aiming for the kitchen first, then maybe my room after i had a bite to eat. I yelled "mom, im home!" but this time i got no response. Wierd, i thought. In fact thats the first time ever that there was no reply back when i said that after i got home from school. Maybe that really was her down there under the library i was starting to think. But my dad was still here, and that was the bigger mystery. Actually you know, when i come to think of it, on the car ride home, i didnt see a sign that anyone was even in the town, except my dad and some cars parked outside businesses to look busy i suppose.
  5. I wonder where everyone went? It seemed really strange to see almost no one in a town this size, usually its pretty lively and industrious, but not right now. I was hella tired, so a little nap seemed to be the right idea. One thing is gonna go right today i thought, i at least have this one pleasure- sleep. And sleep i did, almost 4 hours, but this time i didnt have that same nightmare about waking up in that laboratory with the bright lights, scientists, and experiments like before. I wonder why, i wonder why so much that its starting to become my signature catchphrase. Why is it everyday i wake up my life is doomed to be riddled with the unexplainable? The unheard of, and completely insane? Why does the sky keep coming down only on me? Maybe its my fate, to be forever standing under a black raincloud.. If it is, than its definitely time for some sunshine.
