  1. I have built High da Niche links, needle really has not moved
  2. hey they're geniuses, I would like to get some input. I have an aged eight-year-old website, I have been consistently building very high quality, tight Niche links for the last 3 months, including several 80 + da super tight niche do follow links from super authority sites, and although the number of keywords in the top 100 according to ahrefs and sem rush has exploded, there's really nothing of much substance getting in the top 10 yet.

  15. I have premium content, and somehow through all these years I have gotten some spammy links. However I have gone through these with a scalpel using IRS, Moz, and sem Rush and have done a very careful and thorough Google disavow.
  16.
  17. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, as there are a number of domains that are of lower da and have much poor quality content.
  18. Or do I just need to be patient???
  19. Did you added your site to "Google Search Console" account? You may found reasons. There are lot of factors in rankings. Without analyzing full site we can't find exact reasons.

  26. 1. OnPage SEO
  27. 2. Spammy Links on your website (As you mentioned)
  28. yes, I have gone through a fine-tooth comb trying to improve the on page SEO. Thanks for responding.
  29. There are dozens of reasons why your website doesnt rank. However:
  30. 1. The number of keywords "explode" because when Ahrefs/Moz detect more links ,they allocate more crawling budget to your website and find more keywords in the SERP. That doesnt mean that your website rankings improved, at all.
  31. 2. I kinda doubt that you managed to build 80 "relevant, high DA links" do your website. 80 links are a lot, you know?
  32. 3. Your anchor profile maybe is overoptimized with all those links.
  33. DM'ed you .. Let's find out May be I can help you in some way/

  53. She said she has several 80+ DA sites linking to her.
  54.
  55. Not 80 links
  56. true, my bad.
  57. How does your anchor profile look? You should have a high number of anchors that are branded and naked URL anchors.
  58. Do you have Google search console set up? Are the new backlinks showing up in search console?
  59. I don't worry about a few or even a few dozen spammy links, because these happen naturally. I would only disavow if a competitor was spamming my site and I lost rankings.
  60. How many links did you have before you started building links? If you had few backlinks to begin with, then disavowed a bunch immediately followed by a bunch of new high quality links, Google knows your doing SEO. They could have the effect of those links devalued or delayed under suspicion of link manipulation. That's why I never disavow unless it has tanked my rankings.
  61. How many words does the top ranking articles have, and how much do you have? I know you said it's premium content, but not how much. If it's 250 words and your competition has a 5000 word article, you're gonna have a hard time.
  62.
  63. Also, any chance you overoptimized your anchors when you built the links?
  64. I would suspect using too much keyword anchortext in backlinks...what's your ratio of kw anchor vs naked links?

  70. Just to be clear I've built three 80 + d a links, not 80 Heidi a links that are Niche related. Thanks for helping me clarify.

  74. oh I have much better better and more volume of contents then all of my competitors. I did an analysis a few weeks ago and they had an average of 700 words on the main landing page, I have 1200.
  75. I would suspect using too much keyword anchortext in backlinks...what's your ratio of kw anchor vs naked links?
  76. I am looking at ahrefs right now, and for referring pages 6% naked URL, 67% of my business name, 10% of actual anchor keywords, and the rest is other anchor text that is not money keywords. Thanks for asking.

  81. ?
  82. Thank you so much for your very thoughtful reply. I just addressed the anchor profile in a previous post, and Google search console is not showing anything, although the old webmaster which I've had for a years used to have my old links. So when they switch to the new format, even my old high quality backlinks disappeared.
  83. It was never ranking great, but somehow I got a ton of Russian spammy links, and my ranks fell off into the abyss past 100. Now I have the key words coming back, and ahrefs says that I have over 500 now, it's just that they're still in pretty high spots. So it is my opinion that I needed to do a disavow, because I completely lost everything.
  84.
  85.
  86. Before disavow, I had according to ahrefs about 300 referring domains. Right now it's showing 247. I have disavowed about 217 crappy domains. I have built about a hundred very high quality niche tight related links, including de follow guest posts on Harvard and other high DA niche blogs, tight-knit related directories, highly niche related blog posts, and getting citations updated in Google my business, Bing, Yellow Pages and so forth. So I suppose that is been about a hundred links so far, all high quality. Pretty much all naked text and brand name.
  87. It's not just about high da backlinks it's about having a good spread from a range of authority sources of different levels. Focus more on your content and natural, organic backlinks.
  88. yes please see my last post to the previous reply, I've got a pretty nice spread of links variety.

  96. How long have you had your New Google search console set-up? Did your URL change at all from HTTP to HTTPS?
  97.
  98. I know google is taking a really long time to show indexed backlinks in search console. Some of my backlinks take 2-4 weeks to show up. Your old links should be showing up in search console fairly quickly.
  99.
  100. By the way, the backlinks will still show up on third-party tools like AHREFS, even after you disavow them in search console. Google disavow does not notify these third-party tools.

  107. I imagine with your link velocity suddenly going bonkers after so long and the disavows Google is just taking it's sweet time adjusting you to make sure it understands what it's seeing.
  108.
  109. Have you updated your content? It might be A good idea to update a few articles. I like to put the date it was updated onto the page sometimes. Updated on 8/30/2019.
  110.
  111. Does your Google search console show your impressions changing over the last 3 months? Ideally going up.

  118. Oh that's probably the issue! I have had Google webmasters forever, when it was just the http. I suppose I need to change it to https! That's the reason why nothing was showing up as far as backlinks! Thanks!

  127. Mountain guy you are so sweet. Yes I have updated a number of pages, inserted more internal linking, just trying to shore everything up on page wise there has been very little as far as more impressions. However, like I said before there have been many more keywords that have shown up in the top 100. Maybe I just need to be more patient? I say this because I went years without paying any attention to the poor neglected site.
  128. Does your website get any direct traffic right now? Have you tried running FB ads for some key pages?
  129.
  130. Your page speed also matters a lot. Your website needs to be fast. Else it will not rank. You might want to host it on Kinsta. And get their support's help in making your pages load fast.
  131. What kind of links is the most important question.
  132.
  133. Profile, blog comments and web 2.0. These do not move the needle much
  134.
  135. Or
  136.
  137. Pbn and guest post. These are the ones you want.
  138.
  139. Also maybe not all links index yet

  143. yes it scores pretty good, and better than all of my competitors in the top 10 of most of the keywords. I do need to get the mobile speed up just a little bit, but even that is better than the number one occupant. Also, I changed my hosts to that of the US. Before, it was hosted by a European company.

  153. Oh I've got some really nice guest post on ridiculously high da sites. It could just be that everything is too new. However, all the other links, which include super niche related directory listings, hi da a niche blog comments, and the major citation places are all in place. Maybe I should just be more patient?
