Designed in the late 1970s to function as a modernized successor to the legendary HMS Habbakuk, HMS Guinevere was always intended to be the only ship of it's class. Comprised of a modernized derivative of pykrete, and powered by some of the most advanced nuclear reactors available, the Guinevere can carry vast numbers of aircraft anywhere in the world. While by no means the fastest ship, even when commissioned, her powerplant was intentionally designed to allow her to steam along at flank speed almost indefinitely. Combined with the onboard storage for 86,000 tons of naval fuel, this allows Guinevere to both support and command vast fleets of conventional escorts, as well as transports for British Army and Royal Marine combat forces. As a result, Guinevere has seen combat in almost every war or military operation in which the United Kingdom has participated since her commissioning on December 28th, 1987.

Armament:
-20x 114mm/55 Mark 8 Mod 1 guns, in single mountings, along the side of the ship, with 10 of the gun mounts elevated to allow for clear firing over the other 10 mounts. 800 rounds per gun.
-20x Goalkeeper CIWS mounts, along the sides of the ship, elevated above the 114mm guns, and positioned for the widest possible firing arks.
-12x Mark 49 GMLS, firing RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missiles, 21 missiles per mounting.
-8x Mark 29 Mod. 4 GMLS, firing RIM-162 Evolved Sea Sparrow Missiles, 8 missiles per mounting.

Armor:
-Hull is 12 meters thick on it's sides, and 6 meters thick between the roof of the hangar and the flight deck.
-Dedicated flight deck and hangar deck armor is 155 millimeters thick for each deck, comprised of HY-80 steel.

Powerplant:
-4x Westinghouse/BAE Systems R1WB Navalized Integrated Fast Reactors, driving steam turbine generators.
-Numerous trainable electric motor pods, able to maneuver HMS Guinevere in almost any direction other than directly sideways. Total combined horsepower: 520,000 shp.
