  1. In the time before the Usurpation, the Ecstasy Eternal was known as Ellera, Desire Unbound. In those days, she was a patron of hedonism more than of emotion, and has as little regard for the importance of humanity as her siblings did. However, she had a passive sympathy for the plight of the gods, due to the strange nature of her investiture charm.
  2.
  3. Regardless, she was not considered a likely ally for the Incarnae, until, in the closing times before the war began, a Sidereal Exalt named Arestasia went to her, and became both the first human and the first Exalted Seeker by fusing with the primordial’s fetich soul.
  4.
  5. The flood of knowledge and perspective that came was enough to shatter Ellera’s worldview with the terrible revelation that the primordials, while they were larger and stronger, were not really better than the gods, or even the mortals. This change, especially applied as it was to the primordial’s very heart, was impossible, and so she was reborn.
  6.
  7. Elixia is not a creature of pure delight, but of shared delight, togetherness. That’s why her first act was to pledge herself to the sun - to the rebellion.
  8.
  9. She kept her word. It was in her nature, now, to trust the views of others even before her own, and she aided them willingly until the first of her siblings died, when she took to the Unconquered Sun’s own home to confront him.
  10.
  11. No-one in Creation knows what was said within, but when she emerged she rejoined the effort, even fighting directly against her brothers and sisters - even, on one occasion, withstanding the fury of her King, not to mention being one of those involved in the fight that slew the Mountain and the Beast Upon it.
  12.
  13. For a long time after the war ended, Elixia was nowhere to be found. When she emerged from her period of solitude, her younger brother, Autochthon, had fled, and the first age had settled into place. Quietly, she took her appointed turns at the games, begun once again enjoying herself - although more carefully now, enjoying the pleasures of Creation from a jouten less likely to destroy vast swathes of it.
  14.
  15. And largely, that’s where she has remained. Elixia is found in places where happiness is short, giving joy to those who lack it. It isn’t that she never plans, to try and save the world, for she has dozens of schemes she wishes to lay into place, but simply that her nature precludes finishing them. She may desire to petition the Unconquered Sun for ambassadors willing to speak to the Yozi, but when she meets a lonely man, injured on the road, her compassion would drive the former to wait while she helped him heal - and when he had, she’d have a new scheme, the first long forgotten.
  16.
  17. And with those priorities, ages slip by.

  20.
  21. First Elixia Excellency - Essence Overwhelming
  22. Cost: 1m per die; Mins: Essence 1; Type: Reflexive (Step
  23. 1 for attacker; Step 2 for defender)
  24. Keywords: Combo-OK
  25. Duration: Instant
  26. Prerequisite Charms: None
  27.
  28. (Elixia’s excellency is based on thematics. It uses identical mechanics to the Yozi excellencies from MoEP: Infernals.)
  29.
  30. Elixia: The Ecstasy Eternal is indecisive, easily distracted, adorable and at her happiest when doing something for some other being. She is submissive, yet holds a burning desire for freedom almost as strong as her desire to obey those she cares for. Her default stance is love, while her hatred is difficult to arouse and all-consuming. She is changeable and fleeting, and her surface changes rapidly. Oddly for one of the architects of the world, she is adaptable, and spontaneous. She lives as if dreaming and rarely plans ahead. Finally, she values grace, beauty, and emotion. She is stubborn, persistent, and inspires others to give her the orders she would want, as she wields the strengths and convictions of others as her own.
  31. Characters may apply this excellency to any situation in which they rely on instinct, immediate decisions, or obedience of those they care for over thought and plans, as well as any action which invokes strong emotions. This applies equally to attack and defense in all situations-she can block or strike, or invoke love or hatred. Elixia is at her best when directed, passionate, and beautiful. Because of this, this excellency may not aid any actions that goes against any of the user’s Virtues rated 3+, nor may it aid an action that directly disobeys someone for whom the user has a positive intimacy.
  32.
  33. Second Elixia Excellency - Essence Triumphant
  34. Cost: — (2m per success); Mins: Essence 1;
  35. Type: Permanent
  36. Keywords: None
  37. Duration: Permanent
  38. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  39. Purchase of this Charm expands a character’s capacity to wield the First Excellency, allowing her to add successes in lieu of or in addition to adding dice. Every bonus success added this way counts as two bonus dice toward the maximum bonus the Charm may add, like a Combo of the First and Second Solar Excellencies. The addition of successes in all other ways uses the same rules as the Second Excellency of the Lawgivers (see Exalted, p. 184).
  40.
  41. Elixia Mythos Exultant
  42. Cost: —; Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
  43. Keywords: None
  44. Duration: Permanent
  45. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  46. Elixia revels in the exercise of her purview, drawing power from the emotions and feelings she tries to spread. Whenever the Infernal succeeds while stunting on an action that could benefit from the appropriate Excellency, she may choose to regain one used virtue channel in addition to the normal rewards.
  47. Characters may partake of these awards even if they did not use the pertinent Excellency to assist the action, just so long as doing so was an option.
  48.
  49. Elixia Inevitability Technique
  50. Cost: — (1wp); Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
  51. Keywords: Shaping
  52. Duration: Permanent
  53. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  54. The Primordials exist beyond fate, warping the flow of causality merely through the lightest touch of their cosmic infinitude. Whenever a character activates the First Elixia Excellency to improve a rolled action, she may pay an additional Willpower to lower the enhanced action’s target number to 6. This benefit is not cumulative with other effects that reduce target number. The Shaping effect of this
  55. Charm warps reality as a whole rather than any individual target; the improved Excellency use does not itself become a Shaping effect. Characters with Essence 7+ no longer need to spend Willpower to benefit from this Charm; such characters automatically drop the target number of rolled actions to 6
  56. whenever they use the First Elixia Excellency.
  57.
  58. Effortless Elixia Dominance
  59. Cost: —; Mins: Essence 4; Type: Permanent
  60. Keywords: None
  61. Duration: Permanent
  62. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  63. The more she uses her power to affect an encounter, the more her Essence begins to saturate the area and harmonize it with the titan’s efforts. Effortless Elixia Dominance triggers whenever the character activates its prerequisite, cumulatively reducing the subsequent cost to do so in the scene by one mote, to a minimum cost of zero motes.
  64. For example, if a Seeker uses First Elixia Excellency to add three dice to a roll, this costs three motes. The second use of that Charm in the scene to add another three dice to an action costs only two motes, and so on. Note that the progression of cost reduction only depends on the number of
  65. times the Charm gets used rather than the number of motes spent on any activation. Zero-mote activations of her Excellency do not trigger the discount of this Charm. No matter how many times a character activates an Excellency, the discount cannot increase by more than three motes during any single action.
  66.
  67. So Speaks Elixia
  68. Cost: —; Mins: Essence 5; Type: Permanent
  69. Keywords: None
  70. Duration: Permanent
  71. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  72. This Charm permanently alters the cost of Elixia’s Excellency. The First Excellency now grants two dice for every mote spent on it, while the Second Excellency allows successes to be purchased for one mote each. Elixia Inevitability Technique can be activated for a cost of four motes instead of a
  73. point of Willpower. So Speaks Elixia is incompatible with any other Charm that provides cost discounts to the Excellencies, such as Effortless Elixia Dominance.
  74.
  75. Sorcerous Enlightenment of Elixia
  76. Cost: —; Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
  77. Keywords: Sorcerous
  78. Duration: Permanent
  79. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  80. By the power of the Primordials, Creation came into existence and elements, deities and even life upon it. Sorcery is this power, filtered down through fractured glimpses of understanding that cannot begin to describe the intricate elegance of the universe. To be a sorcerer is to be mad with jagged shards of cosmic awareness and with will and might enough to impose that madness on the world.
  81. This Charm grants the shallowest fragments of supernal wisdom, enough to learn and cast spells
  82. of the Emerald Circle. Subsequent purchases of the charm unlock higher circles. Spells require the usual costs and spell-shaping actions when cast this way. In addition to these powers, this charm enforces the themes and imagery of Elixia upon every spell cast using this initiation. This substitution of imagery never materially alters the effects of a spell except in the slightest of ways and is not optional. The player may select the modified imagery with Storyteller approval.
  83. The integration of her themes can be subtle or overt and may even vary with each casting of the same spell, but Primordial power resists efforts to hide its glory. Even if the sorcerer attempts to minimize the warping effects on his sorcery by integrating extremely minor special effects, observers with
  84. Occult 1+ still recognize the taint with a reflexive (Wits + Occult) roll at difficulty 5. The only way to completely hide a Primordial’s influence is to cast a spell that already completely resonates with the Yozi’s thematic imagery.
  85. Sorcerers may learn as many different initiations as they meet the prerequisites for. They can’t cast a spell using multiple initiations at once, however.
  86. This Charm may be purchased a second time by characters with Essence 4+, deepening the patterns of creative psychosis through which miracles occur. Such characters may learn and cast Sapphire Circle spells with the benefits and drawbacks of their initiation, though it is harder to hide the warping
  87. touch of the Primordials (difficulty 3 to recognize as above). A third and final purchase of this Charm at Essence 5+ unlocks the core truths of forces and principles by which worlds were fashioned and allows learning and casting of Adamant Circle spells within the bounds of initiation. Such spells proclaim
  88. the themes of Elixia of the primordial herself (difficulty 1 to recognize).
  89.
  90. Elixia is a follower, not a leader. She can act herself and aid others, but control does not come naturally to her. The Sorcerous Enlightenment of Elixia cannot access spells that control others utterly, such as Servitude or Total Control effects, except for demons and her own devas. It reduces the cost of spells that cause emotion effects or enhance the user’s or allies, such as Invulnerable Skin of Bronze, by ten motes and one willpower.
  91.
  92. Ascendency Mantle of Elixia
  93. Cost: —; Mins: Essence 5; Type: Permanent
  94. Keywords: Native
  95. Duration: Permanent
  96. Prerequisite Charms: First Elixia Excellency
  97. The Primordials did not wait to exert their will over Creation and the crashing maelstroms of the
  98. Wyld at its shores, their authority rooted in the elegant ecology of superior might. Elixia’s seekers now emulate this splendor with a Charm of their devising, hastening their growth.
  99. As a permanent upgrade, the character can spend experience to buy her Essence rating up to a
  100. dot higher than her age should permit (see Exalted, p. 275). However, this essence dot, and all abilities and traits dependent on it, function only when the character is the centre of fierce emotions.
  101. The character must have a number of other beings possessing an emotional intimacy to her equal to Magnitude (Essence).
  102.
  103. Limitless Beauty Understanding (E6)
  104. This charm allows the user to purchase one more dot of Appearance than their normal limits would indicate. Its primary benefit is the following. Anyone targeted with a social attack by the user with a emotional context, if they have a Temperance of equal to or less than half the user’s Appearance, suffers the full penalty of the difference between their Appearances, even if that exceeds the normal permitted amount.
  105.
  106. Mote pool: 1100+those gained from Seekers. (Equal to their personal pools. 100m of Elixia’s pool is open to them, and is usually half empty.)
  107.
  108. Third Circles
  109. ----, (Remembrance)
  110. Sexy librarian. The ‘parent’ of the second circles remembering broken yozis/dead primordials/autochthon. Highly knowledgeable, morose.
  111.
  112. Second Circles
  113. Mira, Lady of Rivers
  114. Embodies grace and flowing style. Long red hair in pigtails (think anime long, to the knees). About seven foot tall.)
