  1. Now that the trio were back home and with the youngest probably sleeping off somewhere in a corner, Lucas pondered what he could do to pass the time until he too felt sleepy enough to go rest his head. Looking at Kyrian, he shrugged and said,
  2.
  3. "Wanna do somethin'" Though Lucas had no idea what that "something" would be he atleasted hoped it would have been fun enough to pass the time. Maybe they could go find some rare creature out in the night? Or fight some incredibly strong creature or maybe even just fight amongst themselves?
  4.
  5. Pretty much anything that didn't involve them sitting around in one place would do for him. He was young and always wanted to be active not wanting to rest until he was absolutely tired.
  6. (Lucas Hayes)
  7. As the two had returned home. Kyrian had sat down at the table to soon be joined by his brother Lucas. While their youngest sibling was probably off somewhere sleeping.
  8.
  9. Leaning back in his seat as he moaned at the boredom that would soon behold the two of them if they came up with nothing quick. But luckly, Lucas had felt the need to do something. Which had just made a devilish smile come across Kyrian's lips.
  10.
  11. "I thoht yah never woulda asked! You lead" He said as he raised up from his seat happily as he headed for the door.
  12.
  13. Kyrian had thought of multiple things that they could do as he gingerly felt the dagger that remained by at his side. Their hunt today was short, and surely the two could do some damage without the youngest by there side. Besides! The two wouldn't be out for long? Would they?
  14. (Kyrian Hayes)
  15. After heading outside, Lucas eagerly weaved about through the forest easily avoiding trees and low-hanging branches. Though he did have some help. The moon was shining down brightly upon the area with not even a cloud in the sky. Now that he was paying attention, it was a bit chilly outside but it was nothing that couldn't be ignored. Now it was time to try to find something to hunt.
  16.
  17. Closing his eyes, Lucas took in the scent of the area and carefully listened for any noises that could have been made by a creature worth hunting. Sadly, it didn't seem like there was any blood on the wind tonight as Lucas could not pick up the scent of anything that may have been injured nearby.
  18.
  19. It didn't matter, if he could not find any creatures soon, he could always just try going somewhere else within Whychwood. Turning to his brother, Lucas would nod almost as a signal to see if he could find anything.
  20. (Lucas Hayes)
  21. Kyrian would soon follow his brother Lucas as had darted out of their den as if he was taken by the wind. But this had gave him something to do. Test his speed as he would race after his triplet.
  22.
  23. Dodging and weaving throughout the forest as he was guided by the moonlight. The only thing that would stop him is if something in the forest would move to catch his attention. It had bothered him as to how it had seemed they hadn't passed anything on their travel. It had seemed as if everything in the area was already hunted or went into slumber. But it didn't matter. Kyrian was sure that they could find something interesting to do in the mean time.
  24.
  25. Skid!
  26.
  27. Kyrian would stop suddenly as Lucas had came to a halt to listen out in the surrounding area to see if he could pick up on a trace. Who would soon be joined by him to find out if anything was in the surroundings.
  28.
  29. But for moments of sniffing out the wind and straining his ears to pick up on any bit of noise that screamed "EAT ME!". Nothing came about.
  30.
  31. Kyrian would soon look over towards Lucas to see if he picked up on anything. But it had seemed as if he had came to any avail aswell. Which only made Kyrian sigh.
  32.
  33. "Lets keep searching. If anytin. We'll spar" he said quietly to Lucas before he beckoned his brother to join him on another round of hunting
  34. (Kyrian Hayes)
  35. It looked like the two would have to continue searching for atleast something that could grab their attention. After going even deeper into the forest, a place that they hadn't often gone, Lucas would go from his quick running to a roll to quickly and quietly halt his movements. Once more, Lucas would sniff out the area and listen in keenly to see if there was anything that could have been detected.
  36.
  37. And once more, there was not. Maybe Kyrian had a better time finding something? Turning to his brother, Lucas would see if he had caught the scent of anything nearby or had maybe heard any nearby bushes rustling from the movement of a creature.
  38.
  39. Maybe everything had already gone to sleep?
  40. (Lucas Hayes)
  41. At what had seemed to be forever. Would bring frustration to Kyrian. Was every living animal truly asleep at this hour? But if so, they would alteast be able to see at where they hid. But nothing had came.
  42.
  43. The two had went deeper and deeper into the forest. They had even began to become desperate enough to travel to parts of Wychwood that they never dared to cross before. But they knew that they could trust each other to have their backs so they took the chance.
  44.
  45. But before they knew it. It would just so happen that they might've made the wrong course of action. . . or would it?
  46.
  47. After taking one brief sniff of the air as the two transversed quietly throughout the woods. Kyrian's eyes would enlargen as he caught the scent of someone in their midist. Maybe even a group. He could definatly smell out more than one but identify accurately how much there was. Soon to reach out for his brethren and bring him to a halt. It had seemed that he had sensed the same thing. Which made it easier for the both of them to settle down and come to a complete stop.
  48.
  49. Which was actually perfect timed because if they would've headed out any more. They probably would've been spotted by whatever the two are currently sensing. Kyrian would look at Lucas as to hint out they should be quiet but Lucas had seemed to feel that everything in the forest had gone silent. Which was true. They hadn't even spotted a rabbit for the miles they have traveled.
  50.
  51. Which meant some abnormalities were up to cause. Which was something Kyrian wasn't very fond of.
  52.
  53. Carefully he would lean into the brush and get a glance outside to see what he had sensed before. But to his surprisement. It was only a couple of rabbits together. Three of them to be in fact.
  54.
  55. At first they together as a pact. Making there way towards who knew where. To suddenly be frightened and scamper away. Which made him frown as his brother and him stayed quietly in the brush. Not daring to make a sound as to have the better edge on this encounter.
  56.
  57. Their eyes were keen on whatever dared to come out and bare its presence
  58. (Kyrian Hayes)
  59. Zeal would lead the group away from the desert, into the cooler climate of the prairie, staring at the tree where he'd left Amaris and smiling. Looking back to check if Nef was doing okay, he ended up thinking of how easily he could piss off Kalerion now. It'd be fun having her around.
  60.
  61. "After this little trip, I'm gonna be heading towards the forests of Bygone. There's something that I gotta do there, find something." He told them, though it was mostly directed towards Ryne, as occultism eminated around his right hand, opening ad closing it, before it faded.
  62.
  63. Stepping into Wynch he noticed that it was dead silent, from his time that he'd lived here, there were few times in which he witnessed this. The forest seemed dead, especially if there were no Yokai roaming about. Drawing his bow, he'd test something, readying it, an arrow molded from occult magics formed, purple flame flaring at the tip.
  64.
  65. Taking a deep breath, he'd fire towards an empty space in between trees. Unknowingly it'd fly past the two boys, hitting a tree not too far off, and exploding, lighting some of the forestry on fire.
  66. (Zeal)
  67. Kida was right there in the woods hearing that Zeal had to be heading to Bygone. Which makes the name ironic. By...e. Gone? He didn't even mention him with Ryne. Kida approaches Zeal with their eyebrows arched. "What?! You were just going to leave?" Kida didn't even realize the kids over there at the moment. He was too focused. Zeal said 'I'm'. Did he mean we? "You said you'll take me anywhere with you..." Kida said a bit upset. "I heard 'I'm'. Not Kida and I..." Kida sighs.
  68. (Kida Taysuke)
  69. Ryne hovered behind Zeal following them into Wychwood forest, a smile developed on his face, he had grown a certain interest in the more foresty areas, he heard Zeal made mention of going to the Bygonegroves. A dangerous place, though he was sure Zeal could handle himself, he would offer his services none the less, he knew how easy it was to be overwhelmed there.
  70.
  71. 'If you'd like i'd be honoured to accompany you' he'd say addressing Zeal
  72.
  73. He heard a familiar voice, Zeal's puppy, Kida, he offered a chuckle, entering the entance of Wychwood, through Brighthold, they'd notice two childre, seemingly of Ookami decent. He'd grab Zeal's attention.
  74.
  75. 'More ookami it would seem'
  76.
  77. 'How.... Intriguing' he'd say to himself
  78.
  79. Hovering with his legs crossed as he watched what was about to happen, offering a smile and a slight wave.
  80. (Ryne Silverblood)
  81. Naturally as she seems to be doing a lot lately, she's following people, trailing shortly behind the lot of them. Not that she minds it, or has anything better to do, but it's something she notes noetheless! Nef's not beyond a trip back to Wychwood, where she could peel off for bit and... maybe just take a peek, see if her kin had come home. The resentment had started to take hold in her heart, but there was still an oscured shine of curipisty and genuine worry for where her parent and sibling all had gone.
  82.
  83. Before she can think to make herself a little bit distant to those she'd been lead by, she sniffs out the scent of two unfamiliar only mere seconds before one of the guys whose name she has absolutely drawn a blank on mentions them, and now she's hunkering down in the nearest bush with a playful curiosity, trying to peek and see. They're about her age, looks like. Funny she's never caught their scent before, then.
  84.
  85. "You're lookin' at those kin over there? I don't think you look a lot like a parent, though... " She hums s the remark jokingly towards Ryne from seemingly out of nowhere, eyes locked briefly on their form before glazing back over towards the two.
  86. (Nef)
  87. It looked like things were getting dull fast when all of a sudden it seemed like Kyrian had taken the scent of a person or well, a whole group of persons and once he had pointed it out Lucas was able to sniff them out too. So many scents, all unfamiliar, this was a first for Lucas who had lived all his life mainly surrounded by his brothers not getting any contact from the outside world at all.
  88.
  89. Then, out of nowhere, an arrow would come flying past the two brothers before hitting a nearby tree. Were these newcomers looking for a fight? Lucas instinctually bared his fangs and readied his claws in preparation for a fight.
  90.
  91. He wasn't sure that he could go up against this many people even with his brother backing him up but maybe they would have attacked if Lucas had tried to escape with his brother?
  92.
  93. After debating about it for a few seconds, Lucas decided that it would be best to stand his ground for now and test the waters. This was surely not a good first impression the "Outside World" had made on Lucas.
  94. (Lucas Hayes)
  95. He was right.
  96.
  97. Suddenly a group of people from the 'Outside World' would come into view. This was something that dialated Kyrian's eyes as he stared at them carefully. He watched as more would come into view and then before he knew it. He watched one of them notch in an arrow into a bow-like weapon. Which made Kyrian grow more on the defensive side.
  98.
  99. His fangs would bare out as he would watch the archer aim the bow directly at him and his brother to only see a purple-like flame burn brightly on the tip. Before he knew it. The archer let the arrow fly and the arrow had came straight between the two and hit a tree directly behind them. This certainly had his attention now.
  100.
  101. As much as he wanted to go out there and kill those who dared to try to shoot at him and his brother. He felt that it was best to go back now. If the two were ever caught out here alone. Their brother wouldn't know what would happen to them, and they wouldn't dare leave him all on his own.
  102.
  103. But time was coming short, Kyrian needed to get out of here with Lucas as the two were already outnumbered. But as he looked over to his brother to tell him that it was time to go. It had seemed that one of his kin on the opposite side had already sniffed them out, and that was the point where Lucas had found necessary to stand his ground.
  104.
  105. With a sigh, Kyrian would join him as he crouched low and bared his fangs and claws with his brother at the "Outsiders". It wasn't an aggresive act to let them know that they were attacking. But that they were standing their ground.
  106.
  107.
  108. (Kyrian Hayes)
  109. The sky turns darkisih gray as red streaks flash across. The sound of rumbling could be shaking the ground a bit. A dark force above could be felt from the sky. Then it happened the force hit the ground hard. A red bolt landing split into between the different groups. Out the flash steps the young boy wearing white and with a hood covering his face. The boy turns to the group. All of them knew this boy as Wesker.
  110.
  111. Wesker looked around as it seemed a group had gathered. He wondered what the blazes was going on now. He just relaxed for a bit njow this. He saw ookamis were baring their teeth at his companions. though they showed no sign of attackinig. Wesker simply tilted his head as if this was something interesting. Whatever the matter he looked at them.
  112.
  113. "So who is gonna give me a reason. This better not be a attack. Because literally this is getting old. Also ookamis please keep calm. Things are already bad in ths forest lets not draw attention. Now lets all give me info on this situation.
  114.
  115. Wesker really did not want to fight. Though he would kill the duo if they attacked his friends. No problem at all and this make sure to cover the accident. Wait he couldn't think like that. It was the perfect time to recruit! Wesker eyes showed determination as he now had his eyes set on the duo once more.
  116.
  117. "Do you two have names by the chance? If you don't wanna talk thats fine also." he says shrugging.
  118. (Wesker Blueknight)
  119. Ryne raised his brow the two Ookami children, baring their fangs and claws, perhaps they had thought Ryne and the others meant them harm, seemingly understandable considering what Zeal had just done, but that was just in his nature, he wasn't trying to hurt them, he was just having a different brand of fun. Before Ryne could explain themselves. Wesker had came in, with his usual show of occultic lightning which would light the night skies with a crimson glow.
  120.
  121. Firing out a series of questions he took a breath before responding.
  122.
  123. 'Everything is under control, there has just been a misunderstanding here' he'd say to Wesker.
  124.
  125. He'd turn to the Ookami children.
  126.
  127. 'As the individual beside me has stated, we mean you no harm, give us a chance' He'd say with a smile.
  128.
  129. Still floating with his legs crossed he'd wait for their reply, hoping for a good one.
  130. (Ryne Silverblood)
  131. Sighing, Zeal looked at Kida, poking him on the nose.
  132.
  133. "When I say "I" that means us. You go where I go, so there's no point in saying "we" every time." He'd tell the boy, ruffling his hair. Afterwards he walked over to Nef, crouching down to get to her level, he gave the girl a poke to the cheek.
  134.
  135. "Nef, I'm gonna have to leave you guys, I have something very important that I have to take care of. I want you to stay with Uncle Ryne, and Uncle Wesker so your dad doesn't try and rip my head off, ok?" Whether or not she answered his positively or negatively, he would turn away walking south towards the Sarab.
  136.
  137. Taking a glance at the wolf pups, he sighed. He didn't have time to take care of things, he would rather they either hurry and attack, or be docile. Though he doubted that they'd attack, at least, not with the numbers there were now.
  138.
  139. "Ryne, Wes, sorry, I'll tell you guys about this later, but for now, I'll see ya when I see ya."
  140.
  141. Giving a quick salute to the two, he pulled his hood over his head, and continued south.
  142. (Zeal)
  143. As Kyrian stood there with his brother. He listened to one of the "Outsiders" whom tried to convince them that they arent threatening. But as him and his brother had stayed there. The more attention this had drew.
  144.
  145. But it also had given them a chance to get away. Kyrian would slowly back up while the 'Outsiders' bickered amongst themselves. Soon to place a hand on his brothers arm and pull him towards him as he started to make his esacpe. Hopefully they were quick enough to lose the 'Outsiders' before going back to their den.
  146.
  147. If they would escape. They would run around for hours to ensure that they lost any pursers trace and that they even took a swin in the ocean later on to get rid of there scent and throw off any trace.
  148.
  149. Then they would return home to live another day
  150. (Kyrian Hayes)
  151. Lucas' full attention was placed on the outsiders until he felt a hand on him. Looks like it was a good a time as any to try getting away from all of this. It felt like the longer that they had stayed here the more and more attention that this little encounter was going to attract.
  152.
  153. Funny, one second the area was dead quiet and next the next it was teeming with people. What a story he would have for later when they made it back. Following his brother's lead, Lucas would attempt to stealthily creep back into the surrounding foliage before making a quick escape.
  154.
  155. Hopefully no one would be paying special attention to them or if they were didn't care enough to stop them. "Let's go." He whispered back to Kyrian turning to attempt his escape.
  156. (Lucas Hayes)
