  1. Looking over what I have, I'm beginning to wonder if it either isn't apparent what the function of the angelic panoply is or what I'm expecting to see in terms of character aptitudes. Everyone is athletic and either used to be in a martial arts club or currently is, and there's not necessarily anything wrong with this, but it just seems like there's not as much variety in a game where I expect the pacing to be like 2-3 sessions rooting out demons and trying to hold onto our humanity, and 1 session fighting. I'm not interested in running a game purely about killing shit and I wouldn't have picked nWoD if I were.

  3. The demon form for, uh, Demons (and by extension you) is meant to reflect whatever their purpose was an an Angel. Every Angel is tailor built for a specific mission, so the God-Machine designs their angelic capabilities around accomplishing that, and then decides if it need furnish its agents further with cover identities and such details as they can blend in with normal humans. If a Demon or Angel's cover identity doesn't have room for being a fighter or being really pretty or whatever, no problem, Demon/Angel form. You get a lot of capability boosters/replacements so you can put dots elsewhere and not feel punished. This is a game where specialization is a waste of time past 7-8 in a pool, and it's nice to have room to grow, isn't it? People are versatile, and so should you.

  5. Your angelic panoply is there to equip you for your mission, and your mission is battle. Thus I expect your forms to be predominated with a fixation thereon, but I didn't expect to get a troupe so focused on fighting people outside of their transformations. You were chosen for your virtue, not your capability as fighters, and God doesn't really care if you're strong to begin with because He will make you strong. That's kinda His thing. That's what He's done throughout all of the Bible. The meek shall inherit and all that shit.

  7. What my recommendation is is to look over what you have, and figure out if you put that dot there because you thought it made your character feel more like a person, or because you figured it'd help out in a game about killing stuff. What I want is for y'all to be able to say "I'm playing the character I wanted to play" rather than "I'm playing the character I thought I had to." If you can say that, then there's no problem. If you can't, let me know, let's work it out.
