↷ nara was born and raised in daejeon. she spent her childhood there until she turned 14, then her family packed up and decided to move to busan. she's been dancing since she was a young child, and has dreamed of being an idol since she watched SNSD and 2NE1. at age 18, despite graduating near the top of her class, she decided to audition for cube ent, along with a number of other entertainments, instead of going to university full time like her parents wanted. she did continue her studies, though, and graduated with a bachelor of theatre arts in february. as for family life, she has never had a father, for as long as she can remember. always just her, her twin brother, her mother, her aunt and her younger sister. her siblings speculate that their father left when the youngest was born, but they don't have the guts to actually ask their mother what happened to him. they come from a middle-class family so she's always wanted to make it big, to give her family the life they deserve.
