Looking down she see's Valrun and waves before standing and diving off the cliff and floating gently to the earth to land next to her with a quirk of the corner of her mouth. "Good evening Valrun. Anything you need?"

(9:33:16 PM) Valrun: It has been made very clear that the kin not of strider decent are not of the Kumpania.
(9:35:15 PM) Valrun: In most septs the kin would have duties, they would have their own heirachy... but those not of the Kumpania do not really have that.

(9:59:09 PM) Eva: Naze nods <G> "Well for what its worth, you're my vote." She frowns <G> "There is a kin counsel, Harley is technically the representative, but he's about to come down with a bad case of demotion for his actions in Egypt, I dare say that opens it back up for grabs."

(10:06:16 PM) Eva: "Up until recently it was a somewhat informal thing the Mama Nica was in charge of and hers was the only real vote that mattered. The kin would talk to her, and the patriarchs and one outside representative, and they in turn would talk and give their recommendations before Mama Nica would give her recommendation as the voice of all kin on matters, usually of judgement, to Malachi."

Despite what Katherine thinks, or thinks she's prepared for, she's not going to be the next Matriarch. I can almost guarantee it. Anya Ode was Mama's choice, or did you miss that she passed the Spoon to her right before the end." She smiles softly and gestures <G> "Then please, tell me all."

(10:20:05 PM) Valrun: Katherine does seem to think it will be her, and that was a concern.  She is good at what she does... but I think many would have trouble following her leadership

(10:26:48 PM) Valrun: The kin not of the kumpania, we are outiders, but we must accept the rule of those we do not really know, who do not know us.... with no say.  I have been here how long, and I am only now hearing of this council?  We are to let the kumpania do all for us, and are not even supposed to cook our own meals...

Very traditional minded." she chuckles "Im 17 now and Adren, and I'll likely still have a chaperone when I date one of their men."
(10:45:30 PM) Valrun: I understand that all to well... but they are part of an inter  tribal sept... if they do not start opening up... then we end up with two eldest kin and I do not think that will help much
