My first love letter to you guys

Hello everyone! First and foremost I am excited to write my first love letter to you guys. I want to make this special for those of you who choose to read it:
Let me first start off with why I got into streaming at all... you see back in that time I was still new to this whole "being openly gay" scene, and had a long term relationship with a guy who I cared very much about. One day I get a phone call from a relative of his, and it was to inform me that he committed suicide. The day before my birthday. This happened late september of 2012, and I slipped into a very bad depression. I did not have friends, and I did not venture out of my home often. Then something amazing happened. I was browsing through youtube videos of a videogame I cannot recall, and stumbled across a video from something called Awesome Games Done Quick. A cheery looking young man wearing a winter cap and a banjo Kazooie sweatshirt was playing Ocarina of Time. This man, who I now know as Cosmo Wright, proceeded to break my sanity as I watched stunned as he performed some amazing glitches. This opened my eyes to the world of speedrunning. I began pouring over the video learning the tricks one at a time, albeit on my crappy gamecube copy of the game, and after a long time of failing tricks I thought: where can I go to find more help? The answer was Twitch.tv, which was linked in the youtube video fro AGDQ. I fell in love with the community, and lurked in chats taking notes, and seeing new developments, and over time, decided to give it a shot.
Over the course of the next 2 years I began to develop life long connections with many great people, and through the thick and thin we grew. Together. All of you, each and every one of you guys, have shown me an outrageous amount of support, and through my days of streaming I coped with the loss of my loved one. I now have a beautiful new life here on Twitch, and without any of you showing me what it truly means to stream I can honestly say that my life would not have been this amazing.

I look forward to many more hours with all of you guys.
