Linc and Ronnie Anne

Lincoln sat, doing his school work quietly, it wasn't too hard, it never was, Lincoln was a smart kid, he just didn't try too hard, he cared more for games and comics than for school work,so he never really bothered with the latter.

Then he felt something hit the back of his head, turning around to see Ronnie Anne with her usual smug look, waving at him. He shot her a glare then tried to get back to work. Only for another spit wad to hit his neck. It went on like that til recess.

Ronnie sat on a swing, humming, as Lincoln walked over to her."oh, hey lame-o, whats up?" Asked the little Hispanic girl.
Lincoln sighed "i thought we were over this whole bullying thing, what gives?" Asked the white haired boy

Ronnie looks around, slightly nervously."Listen Linc, i made a huge mistake in letting you know about my thing for you your sisters told their friends now people are teasing me for liking you, i gotta prove them wrong." She sounded almost like she was pleading, Lincoln would have none of it.

"But they're not! Besides aren't you some kinda tough girl?i would have thought you'd beat them up or something?" Lincoln shot back with aggression.

Ronnie sighed and looked away "i cant, they're bigger than me." Bigger than her?" They're from the middle school,if i tried they'd slam my face in the pavement." Lincoln decided to lighten up at hearing this.

"Whats so bad about liking me that people would tease you for it?" He seemed to be mildly offended now.

"Dude, 'groomin mah chest hair' ?" Oh, right,That, Maybe he shouldn't have entered that stupid contest in the first place...
"So, can you just, play along for now? Please?" Ronnie asked giving puppy dog eyes,

With a sigh, Lincoln responded with a "fine"

Ronnie Anne sighed in relief. "Thanks man."
Lincoln quickly Hoisted his finger up as if to make a point.
"But! You owe me a videogame of my choice."Ronnie groaned , well that was the price to pay, and she would pay it.

"Deal, Now get outa my face Lame-o"She sneered at him as he shrugged and left her be.

When he got home later in the day, his sisters were all leering down at him.
"Uh, Hey guys , whats up?" Asks the white haired boy, setting his backpack on an end-table.

Lori spoke"We think you know." Oh boy, meddling."You are going to man up right now, And fight for Ronnie Anne."

Lincoln gripped the bridge of his nose."How do you even know about this?"He asked, Cursing his wretched luck.

Lynn spoke next."Bobby told her, and she told us."She glared intensely at her younger brother.

Lincoln walked past them ."I'm not going to fight anyone! It'd be safer, And easier to just go back to the status quo." Lincoln pointed out, To which Lisa agreed from a purely objective standpoint.

Lori wasn't having any of it though. "Lincoln, You're going to stand up for your girlfriend." Lincoln was flabbergasted.

"I'm NOT Her boyfriend." Lincoln Shouted at Lori. Two seconds away from jumping the older girl and ripping her hair out with his teeth."Besides! If i were to confront the people picking on her , My face would be completely ruined."

Lori scoffed at this "You're a Boy, Facial scars will just make you cuter."

"Aughhh, You Guys are just assuming they're boys! What if they're girls?! I can't hit a girl!"They all widened their eyes, They hadn't thought of that.


After realizing a potential mistake, the sisters huddled up and whispered among themselves. Before making a decision among themselves.

"Okay, Lincoln, Ronnie likes you, Bobby says she's constantly telling him about you! Don't you think you should at least look into her situation?" Lori asks, trying to be more understanding of Lincoln.

Lincoln takes a moment to think, Okay maybe he was being a bit of a jerk trying to take advantage of this, but why would he stand up for someone he not only barely knew, But also had been picking on him since school began?

He would have to keep an eye on Ronnie Anne tomorrow, At least to see just how bad it was.
Maybe he could pawn this on Lynn if they were girls? At least, that's what he thought was a viable thing to do.

The next day, after school, Lincoln spent the afternoon sneaking around Ronnie, Just to make sure she was okay.

Things were good for the first half hour, Ronnie walking home because her parents were busy, and Bobby was working.

But then, on her way home, there came three teenage boys. The...,most rotund one, Had stomped over to the little Mexican girl.
"Hey there, beaner." He sneered at Ronnie, His fat cheeks scrunched from his stupid smirk.
"How's your boyfriend?"

Ronnie glares back, standing strong."I'm not a beaner, and he's not my boyfriend." The fatty grunted.

"Oh really? Then how come my little brother saw you two talking yesterday?" The boy raised a brow with a smirk.

Ronnie shook her head. "We were jus-" Lincoln was appalled at what happened next, The fat bully slapped Ronnie Anne across the face.


Having seen this, Lincoln lost his temper, charging in to attack the much larger child.
He tackled the fat ass to the ground and began wailing on his face, he could feel his own knuckles crack against the bully's jaw, But he didn't care.

The bully's friends, after being stunned by their leader's assailant for a moment, kicked Lincoln off the tubby bully, the fat teenager got up and snarled, stomping on Lincoln's head "Oh wow! So i was right after all! hahahaha" Lincoln growled , as he wormed his head from under the older kid's boot.

Ronnie was too shocked to even react, Lincoln stood against three kids from middle school for her. hell, he even gave the fat one a black eye, He wasn't the kind of guy she should be embarrassed of, whenever they spoke he tried so hard to be civil, and she did nothing but treat him like crap.
She cringed at the massive bruise Lincoln's face, As much as she wanted to help, She was too frozen by her own fear of the older kids.

Lincoln took a foolhardy charge at the three middle school children, He was taught not to let boys pick on girls, This was his personal justification for his actions.

Being cocky middle school kids, they knew nothing about fighting, so Lincoln held his own for a moment. before the fat bully grabbed him from behind, While one in a skull t-shirt began pummeling Lincoln's gut and chest.

Luckily, Lynn saw the whole thing, and ran over with a shout. the bullies realized two things.
1.this must have been Lynn's brother.
and 2. Lynn, the girl who works out constantly, and has taken lessons in kung fu, could in all honesty kick their asses.

At this harrowing realization, The cowardly teenagers ran for what they thought could be their lives.

After taking a moment, Ronnie had recovered from her shock and rushed over to Lincoln.
"Lincoln! are you okay?" she asks panicked lifting up his shirt to see if something was bruised or broken.

"I'm fine." He said breathlessly."Just got the wind knocked out of me." Ronnie sighed in relief, meanwhile Lynn was grinning coyly

"I'll leave you two love birds alone" The sporty girl laughed and started on her way home.

Lincoln didn't get the chance to retort before Ronnie Anne gave him a kiss. and this was no innocent peck on the cheek. She pulled back, blushing and giving a smile that wasn't smug in the slightest."Dude, you're a lot tougher than i gave you credit for, Shit wait til the rest of the school hears about how you gave a middle schooler black eye!" Lincoln flinched slightly at her use of a swear word., but smiled proudly none the less.

Ronnie held his hand ."I admit i was a jerk for being embarrassed of you, i just didn't think you could do something like that." She admitted she was in the wrong at east, sort of. "So, can we put that behind us Linc?"

He took a moment to think about it. "Uh, Yeah i guess. I was a jerk for trying to take advantage of things. So we're even." He grasps her hand as well "Can i walk you home?"

Ronnie shrugs "Of course." She leads the way for her first boyfriend.Meanwhile a redheaded girl was glaring in the distance
