- I'm a 25 years old, trained digital media designer (faculty Media Operating) and I've been developing websites for more that six years now. As a trainee I've also had the chance to get an insight into classic print media and design.
- Over the years I was able to learn some (programming) languages and techniques. HTML, CSS, accessibility of websites, JavaScript PHP and the Zend Framework counted among. In all that time I could achieve a deep knowledge in this sector. The work in a team and with customers brings me a lot of fun. The exposure to version/bug tracking systems and server software are a given to me. Same goes for state-of-the-art software development. For example: Model-View-Client (MVC) or Test-driven development. In my humble opinion a good developer knows the weak parts of software (including his own) and follows the current development. Secure- and goal-oriented programming should also be a prequisite.
- At the office I prefer Linux OS, since I've been a longterm user of Zendwalk, Debian and Fedora.
- This enables me to test software under the same conditions as on final productive servers.
- I am fermilliar with different Unix flavours and have experience in administration of servers, networks and workstations.
- Apart from that I'm helpful, extraverted, eager for knowledge and interested in many kinds of music.
