Blue Prince Spoiler Rules

This is a detailed overview of what is and isn't considered to be a spoiler for the purposes of the /r/BluePrince subreddit.

What doesn’t count as a Spoiler

● Commonplace and ●● Standard rooms you would typically encounter in the first few days of play.
Common Items you would typically encounter in the first few days of play.
Rooms, Items, Screenshots or Videos seen in official sources (Trailers, Steam, Website etc) regardless of rarity.
Basic Game Mechanics like Drafting, Floorplan Layouts, Redrawing, Experiments, Stars
As a general rule of thumb, if it's content that the majority of new players would know after playing seven days you are likely safe!


What does count as a spoiler

Solutions to Puzzles. (parlor is the one exception) however parlor discussions should be encouraged to occur in a thread.
Hidden compartments or secret areas in rooms (and the grounds).
Lore found in harder to access areas or deeper parts of the game. Rarer items.
Rare Rooms that do not appear in trailers.
Any Outer Rooms and Floorplans manually added to your draft pool
