This spell allows the subject to change their form to one they would prefer. Once the spell is cast, the subject falls into a trance-like state and is consumed in a magical, opaque cocoon. Their body then takes on the race, sex, age, and appearance they most wish to be. This takes ten minutes and a further five minutes each if the intended form is another size category or creature type to their original form.

When the subject emerges from the cocoon, they lose the ability bonuses of their previous race and gain the ability bonuses of their new race. If the new race is a different size category, or is otherwise sufficiently differently shaped (more limbs, different proportions, etc.), the target takes a -1 to all physical rolls for d6+1 days while they become accustomed to their new body.

If the cocoon takes a total of 25 or more damage before ten minutes have passed, the target must make a Will save of DC 20  (reduced by the caster's Wisdom modifier + caster level). If the save is failed, their race is randomised according to the Reincarnation race table, although their sex and appearance is as consistent as possible with their wishes. If the cocoon takes a total of 50 damage, it is destroyed. If the transformation was not within ten minutes of completion, the target is unconscious for five minutes and reverts to their original form. If the transformation was ten minutes or less from completion, the remaining transformation time is doubled and the target remains unconscious for the remainder.

By default this spell cannot turn a sapient creature into a non-sapient one, and cannot turn a creature into an outsider except for outsiders of the native subtype, but this is subject to GM fiat.
