Lulu Goes to Bed (ChipFic)

>lisa worked at a fevered pace
>running scans and mixing vials
>leni had brought home a small asian girl
>she had aparantly adopted her, going through all the paperwork and legal matters on her own
>an impressive feat for leni to be sure, but one that could end in tragedy if lisa didn't finish her work in time
>bed, as the small girl was named, was not related to them by blood obviously, and that was bad news
>lulu recognise blood relatives by scent, and that kept her from attacking them
>poor bed had no such protection, and if lulu ate her, lisa was sure she would be the next fatality once leni got a hold of her
>especially since lulu had snuck out of her crib and into the vents when lisa wasn't looking
>wiping sweat from her brow, lisa was sure she she had the solution in a syringe, a simple shot would be all it took and bed would smell like family to lulu
>rushing downstairs to where she last saw leni, she felt her heart sink when she was told that bed was allowed to roam the house to get a feel for her new home
>she didn't have to search long as she found the girl in the den, with her back turned to her
>as lisa approached she heard the small girl humming, as if to herself
>as she got closer however it became clear that bed was singing a lullaby, with lulu sitting in her lap, asleep
>bed had a smile on her face as she hummed, stroking lulu's hair
>lisa backed out of the room, it looked like her newest niece would be just fine
