  1. Kristine - So is Defense Mode so hard because you have no rest period between vagal 'pushups'?
  2.
  3. Kris - Think this course would help me with a 21-year-old son who is now back living at home and is undiagnosed (shows all signs though) and doesn't want to be "labeled."
  4.
  5. Ann - My 11 year old son has autism and we both struggle. He is frustrated, anxious or angry a lot. I don't know what the triggers are because there doesn't seem to be a pattern. How can I figure out what is causing him so much stress? Also I don't feel like anyone in our lives understand his issues. Since he "looks normal " they just see him as a spoiled brat and that I just need to whip his butt and he'd be fine. How can I get our family and friends to understand what it's like for my son to live with autism and sensory problems?
  6.
  7. Meredith - Have you worked with many young teens that have been able to get out of Defense Mode for long periods of time? I have wondered if it’s more possible once people are into their 20’s because of frontal lobe development or other reasons.
  8.
  9. Sue - How many hours each week does the course require?
  10.
  11. Wendy - You rock and you give me hope for the possibility of fixing my relationship w my adult twin daughters!
  12.
  13. Tina - Is this something our daughter should participate in ? Or do we the parents participate in the calls
  14.
  15. David - How to I make sure my child actually watches this?
  16.
  17. Uma - Lost the webinar feed. Are you taping this and can I see it again?
  18.
  19. Jon - Is this good for a 56-year-old aspie?
  20.
  21. PJ - Husband with aspergers has damaged our family. Does he take course or do I as his wife? I do more research and learning about his aspergers than he does. Can you help couples and families? How can I motivate him to want to change?
  22.
  23. Barb - We are interested, but we will be gone 2 weeks over the next 2 months. Are the webinars 8 weeks in a row, or can there be make ups on the ones you would miss?
  24.
  25. Robyn - Will this course be helpful for a parent of adult children who are still living at home?
  26.
  27. Peter - Is this course good for the parents of a son who was diagnosed at 35 years of age and is now 37 on social security
  28.
  29. Veronica - Is 7 year old too small to start? My son just turned 7 but his emotional maturity is around 4-5years ols.
  30.
  31. Nancy - Our grandchild hates being different. Will this help us help him? He is 11.
  32.
  33. Heather - how much time per week does this take and at what time(s) can I take the courses?
  34.
  35. Carolyn - Do you have a book that I can read on my own based on your work?
  36.
  37. Lisa - I can't even get my 33 year old to watch this with me. He knows he needs to do some changes to get back to work, but is stuck. How can I get him to enroll?
  38.
  39. Mary - My 18-yo daughter is on the verge of crashing and burning after one semester at college. She is feeling very depressed and discouraged. I had her sit down and watch this together with me, and we are considering taking the course over winter break. A lot of what you said tonight rang true for us. Thank you for giving her some hope and showing her that she is not alone, and we can muddle through together.
