  17. Backstory: Ythaar was born the 7th son, and 13th child to two minor nobles that ruled over a desert town in Malibor. The town was a trading hub that was known for the protection it gave within the layered, city walls. The Mejtokxil family were known to be a group of warriors in old times that protected the people, but as time grew on the corruption of the country took route. Now they oppress the people, except for the rich that live within the center of the city, and demand tribute from all that pass through their land. Strife and war threaten the city.
  18. When Ythaar was young, he like any of his sisters and brothers was made to train for war. As the 7th son, he was never expected to truly fight, however he was expected to travel out of the city to gain knowledge and power for his people. He got to choose his weapon. As his brothers had chosen many other weapons in the past, he chose the remaining two swords, sabers, that were once used by his uncle. His uncle was a man of prestige, power, but also benevolence and once the commander of the cities armies. He fought for the people, but died later in the war, being replaced by his older brother. Ythaar idolized his uncle, and learned for fight with his uncle's swords.
  19. After mastering the blades, Ythaar was then required to learn the ways of Pyromancy, the power of his people. However, taking that up quickly, he was allowed to learn whatever specialty he would want next, and chose a teacher he had met in his youth. The man was a good friend of his uncle, but not trusted by his family. However, at 16, Ythaar was allowed to choose his magic as he wanted, and chose him as his teacher. The man was a necromancer from Zerif, and taught him to drain life, and various other lores of undeath. However, as the city was being attacked by raiders, he gave his life to protect his student. Now 18, Ythaar was to venture out from the city to find power and knowledge for his better, and himself hopes to find it so he can not only help those oppressed in the city, but for the entire country.
