AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -Noah was pacing around his bedroom with his phone to his ear, kicking the clothes that were strewn about the floor as he listened to his sister's sweet voice on the other end of the phone. "I'm not doing that." He said firmly, turning to glance at his open bedroom door when he heard Lady's footsteps going by. He turned back around, continuing to pace. "Where's Sadie? I like talking to her more than you."-
Covet: Tae had been in her room working on her homework for one of her classes and could hear Noah talking down the hall. She was curious as to who he was talking to and got up to move closer to her door, from her bed in order to hopefully hear better.
Alexithymiaa: "Liv!" He called out, brushing his hand back over his hair and whining a little. "If you tell mom, I'll tell Cam you're the one who blamed him for the empty liquor cabinet." He said quickly, trying to be defensive and on his toes. Sibling training for sure. "I swear, I'm not doing anything. Just hanging out and going to class and practice."-
Covet: Tae shook her head and walked around the corner to look at Noah, still shaking her head, because he was a liar. She walked down to his room and leaned in the doorway, just being nosey for the sake of being nosey.
Alexithymiaa: "What, do you need a report card?" He shot back with a laugh, leaning over to pick up his hoodie from the floor, giving it a toss onto the bed. "There's nothing to tell. And even if there was, I wouldn't tell you, I'd tell Cam first." He smirked to himself. "Well maybe if-" He cut himself off as he turned and saw Tae standing in his doorway, instantly getting tight lipped. "I have to go. I'll call you later." He quickly pulled the phone away from his ear, hanging up on his sister. "What're you, eavesdropping?"-
Covet: "Yeah, pretty much, You didn't have to hang up with your sister. I'm sure she was very interested in grilling you from the sounds of it." Tae said to him. "What were you going to tell your sister?" She asked because he cut himself off.
Alexithymiaa: "No one likes an eavesdropper." He said, tossing his phone down onto the bed and kicking his clothhes further across the room into a neater dirty pile. "Nothing. I wouldn't tell my sister shit, she has a big mouth."-
Covet: "Well then maybe you should close your door, because I can't help how loud you are." Tae said with a shrug. "What was she wanting to know?"
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not loud." He retorted defensively, turning around to face her agaain aand sliding his hands into his pockets. "She just wanted to know what I've been up to on this side of the country. Usual family check in shit." He paused, narrowing his eyes. "How did you know I was talking to my sister and not some New York girlfriend?"-
Covet: "Because of the way you were talking to her. It sounds a lot like how I talk to Eli at times." Tae said walking in to flop onto his bed . "And you act way to single to gave a secret girlfriend on the otherside of the country.
Covet: *"
Alexithymiaa: "You don't know that. I had a girlfriend when I came out here to check out schools the first time earlier this year. No one knew." He was kind of proud of that fact, moving to his dresser to stuff a crumpled pair of shorts into the bottom drawer.-
Covet: "Okay, but you HAD.. you obviously didn't keep her. Which is probably smart, because you know...long distance relationships really suck." Tae said as if she knew, which she kind of did but not really.
Alexithymiaa: "I didnt keep her?" He asked with a laugh because the terms she'd used amused him. "We didnt keep each other. She didnt want to go to college stuck to some high school boyfriend either. We weren't stupid about what was going to happen when we got to school. And we're still friends since we didnt end up hating each other."-
Covet: "That's probably for the best, See even you guys knew that long distance relationships suck." Tae laughed "Plus, It's not like you aren't in that hate eachother exes kind of situation so when you go home you still have a hook up too."
Alexithymiaa: "Exactlyyyyyyy." He said like she'd just hit the nail on the head, leaning back against his dresser to look at her. "See, you need to plan these things out. Not that I couldn't hook up with someone else when I go home, but it's convenient."-
Covet: "I'll keep that in mind when I finally move to LA, if you're still here." She said sticking her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "When do you plan on moving to LAA?" He asked, his back going up just a bit because it's okay for him to joke about hooking up with chicks when he goes home, but it's not okay for her to mention leaving.-
Covet: "In a few years probably. After I get my bachelors. I'm not exactly going to find much in my field of work here in Portland." Tae said looking over at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh. Thaat's a long time away." He said dismissively. "LA is kind of gross though. It smells and there's smog and snooty people."-
Covet: "Yeah, but it's also got lots of movie things going on, movie things that need costumers and make up artists." Tae told him. "Portland isn't much better. It smells like fish and oily rain. That's the only reason we don't have smog, is because the rain keeps it all on the ground."
Alexithymiaa: "Still better than LA." He said with a shrug, easing off the dresser and walking over to grab his computer from the table, sitting down on the bed with it in his lap. "I wouldn't want to live there, is all I'm saying. There's no place like New York."-
Covet: "I've only been to New York a couple of times. Once for a funeral for one of my Grandparents, but that was upstate, and then the other time Drew and I never even left the hotel." Tae told him watching him get his computer.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "What a waste of New York trips. We have the best of both worlds. Where I grew up is like a suburban beach community, and I can jump on a train and in a half hour be in midtown for a Ranger game." He sort of just lazily scrolled social media, glancing at Halloween pictures from last night.-
Covet: "Well the funeral wasn't so much of a waste." Tae said because that was rude Noah. "That's cool though, That's kind of how it was when we were living in California when I was younger."
Alexithymiaa: "It's the best." He spoke, disregarding her funeral comment because he IS rude. "We have a house right on the dock so we can just take the boat out right from home or walk ten minutes down to the beach to go surfing. And the train station is within walking distance too and we can just go into the city and party. It's pretty great , really. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else."-
Alexithymiaa: (Except that Long Beach is expensive af and unless you get your shit together, YOU CANT AFFORD IT, NOAH.)

Covet: "Okay so next time you go home you're taking me right?" Tae said just tagging along because he was talking all about it.
Alexithymiaa: (It really is that cool though.)
Alexithymiaa: "What?" He stammered, looking up from his computer to stare at her. "You want to just... come home with me?"-
CovetCovet : "Well, yeah. you make it sounds really cool." Tae said looking at him. "Is there something wrong with that?
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know, it's kind of weird, don't you think? You'd have to like... stay in my parent's house. With my brother and sisters. and my parents."-
Covet: "So... We're just friends. It's not that weird. I'll sleep on the couch if you think it's going to be a problem." Tae said having no issue making herself comfortable with the idea of his family, because she moves quick like that.
Alexithymiaa: "You know my little sister is only four, right?" He asked, trying to make her less into the idea. "She gets up really early and gets cranky and loud and throws temper tantrums."-
Covet: "It's not like we're going to be hanging around them the whole time if you're showing me all that other cool stuff." Tae said looking up at the ceiling. "Also, she's four that's what they do."
Alexithymiaa: "Well yeah, but we'd still be there at night and in the morning. No one wants to deal with a little kid whining and stuff." He spoke like he wasnt just as bad as an actual four year old.-
Covet: Tae shrugged, "Whatever, if you don't want to show me, because it's not as cool as you're making it sound that's fine." She said then went to get up so that she could go get changed out of her clothes and get ready for bed.
Alexithymiaa: "What? It's even cooler than I'm making it sound!" He called after her, getting defensive. He leaned back on his bed to pout because his home is just the best place ever and he was sticking to that.-
