- Roran shifted his gaze up as a metallic blade was coming towards him at break neck speed--actually aiming for his neck in the process. Through gnashed teeth he attempted to lift his arms up to attempt to block the incoming attack, but it simply came at him too fast to warrent it. "Shit--"
- SLASH
- A cough was heard, and rubies standed the man's tracksuit, and body as he moved his hand upward to hold his neck, blood profusely seeping from the open wound as he attempted to reorienate himself. He should've known it was a trap if he just followed where the eye was looking towards, so the context clues was there, he just did not use his head to follow it, in the process he almost lost his own, so a lesson learned, but it was also an injury gained. However, despite that, he still felt..a twinge of glee expanding upon his face, one he had to hide as he attmepted to stand back up [1]
- Roran took deep breaths as he rubbed his neck a bit giving it a few good turns. He was fine, better than fine even, but he was shaking. He narrowed his gaze a bit as he pressed his fingers against his neck for a moment, he was still breathing, so he was not out and the pain was a stark reminder of everything that has transpired thus far.
- He stared at his hand trembling from side to side at a rapid pace, his breathing grew erractic, and he was somewhat tensed. He was afraid...or at least he should have been given that brush of death could've killed him, maybe if he was an immortal, then that would be different, but he was not. He took a breath squeezing his hand a bit to steady himself while checking his heart rate.
- "I'm fine." He stated moving back along the path. "Thank you, again, Akane, for my foolish mistake." [2]
- Roran scratches his cheek for a moment, was there something in front of them? He could barely see it, but judging by how everyone was reacting, it must've be something else entirely, but he couldn't exactly foreign like he wasn't scared, in order to keep up the act he dropped his weapon, causing it to chatter a bit. His body was trembling as he was supposably reacting to the sense of [Dread] everyone was feeling.
- "Sh-shit." He stated, scrambling to pick his halberd up as he attempted to steel his mind from the various assaults on it. "I'm okay." He stated shifting his stance a bit. He was suppose to be a vanguard as the only tank, his wits needed to be top shape for wherever danger they were about to face.
- Standing firm he stabbed his weapon into the ground waiting to see whatever his this darkness was they were to be facing.
- "I think something might be coming." [3]
- Roran took a breath as he grinned, the peaking was doing its best to tear through his defenses, which yes, it did hurt him, but he shifted himself a bit furrowing his brow as he squeezed his hand around his weapon. A small breath escaped from his mouth as he wrenched his hand around his halberd. He muttered something under his breath as a small flame escaped his mouth while he narrowed his gaze forward at those around him making sure they were at least in his party.
- "Right.." A flicker of flame flashed around him as a silverly ethereal flames sparked around his body, he shifted his body as the ghastly fire erupted around his body. It was the fire that burned cold, the eerie glow simply denied the warmth of fire and was channeling the eerie frost of death that followed. He sighed a bit as he narrowed his gaze a but as he held a hand forward as the flames flickered around his body as he released his Icebound Domain around himself and his party.
- "There." [4]
- Roran lifted his weapon up as he stamp it down, just trying to buy himself enough time to actually guard against the incoming guillotine once again. Now he could not possibly react to the speed it was swinging towards him, so he just wanted to at least mitigate the damage being done to him. Knowing he'd just have to sacrifice his weapon in the process he held the halberd up.
- Bracing himself, as he groaned, the blow nearly crippling him as he was lowered himself down, at least trying to seal up the bleeding being done. He released another groan as the frigid trail beneath him started to form, but he could not move, or rather he couldn't bare to do it as even as much as he was able to, he could not bring himself to move from his move.
- "I'd love to, but I think retreating would be nest for all of us." He complained, at least he was attempting to stand up. [5]
