- “Y’know y’ don’t have t’ do anyfin’ like this, right?”
- “I know, but call me a cheesy sap and let me have some fun, yeah?” With a small sigh, a rather tense-looking canine leans back in his seat, his green fluff bristling for a split second at the feeling of someone brushing the back of his scalp - behind him, another canine was standing there, a smirk plastered onto her face and that same brush of hers in hand.
- “I mean-”
- “Look, Giddy, I think I know a thing or two about how to wrangle this bird’s nest you call hair. Now, do me a favor, and relax for a little bit. I’ve got some magic I can work with yet, yeah?”
- “Heh… I always did worry a tad much, huh?”
- “More than you think, but that’s what I like about you, you know.”
- “Y’know, Ez, it’s… seldom I get someone t’ do somethin’ about all this, yeah?” At that point, the brush-holding canine tilts her head to the side, the smirk on her face quietly spreading a bit wider.
- “Yeah?”
- “Yeah, it’s… well… kinda somefin’ I tend t’ do by m’ lonesome an’ all.”
- “Well, now you’ve got me, so you don’t have to worry about doing this all the time, yeah? All you have to do is ask and I can help you out whenever I can. You know, between rituals and everything. Tilt to the left a little?” At her words, the canine blinks for a moment or two before tilting his head to the left, the one standing behind him letting out a soft chuckle. “Heh… like a little puppy, you can be.”
- “Oh, please, y’know I’m no’ a puppy.”
- “No, I know, I’m just having a little fun’s all. You tell me if I start tugging on anything, yeah?”
- “Can do-rrf…!”
- “Oop, spoke too soon. Sorry, Giddy.”
- “‘S fine… kinda deserve it at some point, eh?” With that, the brush-holding canine leans herself in front of the green-furred canine’s gaze, one of her brows lilted up in a look that says “oh, really now?”.
- “Uh huh. Mean ol’ Ezzie tearing out your hair because you did something to deserve it. You know that’s not gonna fly in my court, right?”
- “Hehehe… can y’ blame me?”
- “I could, but that wouldn’t be any fun, now would it? Tilt the other way, please?” On cue, the green-furred canine tilts his head the other way, a soft sigh escaping him at the feeling of the brush running against the top of his head.
- “Gods, I could let y’ do this all day…”
- “Give me all day, and I could, you know.”
- “Really?”
- “Well… for a while, but I can make it feel like all day… Hey, Giddy?”
- “Hm?”
- “Love ya’.”
- “Love ya’ too, lass. Fer everythin’ an’ all.” At that point, the brush-holding canine simply leans herself down, and presses her lips against the green-furred canine’s forehead. “Even fer tha’.”
- “Heh… a big ol’ puppy, I swear.”
- “Oi…!”
- “Hehehehe…”
