Religion Name: The Faith (Vallathorians)

Motto: True Devotion

God: They worship an unknown God that is said to be of high anomalous power. It is referred to as “The Unnamed” in all scripture and writings and speech. However earlier works suggest the God’s name is Vallathora.

They believe in lesser servant Gods- these beings being powerful anomalous entities such as Lionspear.

Other anomalous creatures and beings are creations of the Unnamed and are sent as pieces of his work- they are called Thorians. They are demonstrative of a higher power. Anomalous items are treated as church relics.

Hierarchy & Followers:
The church is led by the Grand Archeon; who is the one true prophet of Vallathora.

It is said he saw Vallathora once as a young man and at the will of the Unnamed God- has had many dreams foretelling the rise of the Anomalous. He constantly preaches about Vallathora’s coming and how it is necessary to prepare for it.

Below the Grand Archeon are the Minor Archeons- A council of 7 members who supposedly come from each continent. (Antarctica is a lie and is merely Australia’s albino twin). They are also known as the Minor Council.

The High Priests and Priestesses man the churches and lead the followers at the behest of the Archeons.

The followers can have many jobs and even the High Priests and Priestesses are trained in some of the following jobs:

Scouts: (The Seekers)- The Seekers are tasked with finding more anomalies and tracking anomalous sites and items. Some seekers even have attempted to infiltrate the Foundation and other organizations. They are occasionally successful.

Warriors: (The Blood)- The muscle. They take care of any threats to the Church. They provide protection to the followers and often accompany people on missions or tasks. They also are used to help “free” contained or captured anomalies. They are also the enforcers of rules that are made by the Archeons and The Learned.

Doctors: (The Merciful)- Healers for the faith. They are also the ones who study and treat injured anomalies. They use a variety of medicine and relics to not only heal but to help The Voice spread their messages to closed minds through poisons or serums.

Lorekeepers: (The Learned)- The learned are lorekeepers- tasked with keeping the legends and the faith. They add and write to the lore and as long as it is approved by the Minor Council- it is added to the main lore of the faith.

Missionaries: (The Voice)- The voice is basically members of the Faith in charge on conversion. They spread the message and find new followers amongst normal humans, those who work for other organizations, and anomalies themselves. They specialize in mental manipulation.

There are 10 circles (or levels) of faith rank. Most followers can only attain 7. Progression occurs when great deeds are done or anniversaries of service are attained. It is thought that each circle is not only representative of the colors of service and faith- but also will determine what will happen to each follower after the rise of Vallathora.

Circle 1: The White Circle

The 1st circle is the lowest rank and is given to followers and converts who have no outstanding value or use that was easily apparent to The Faith. They are pure, unclouded, and all around ignorant. They are blank slates that must be colored.

It is also reserved for converts that were forced to undergo mental manipulation. Reasoning behind this is that it is unclear what will happen to those being manipulated therefore surveillance is needed. Because they are so new- most members of the faith will constantly watch those of the White.

It is thought that most members of the white circle will be left for Vallathora’s judgment but most higher ups believe those in the white’s purpose is to provide sustenance for Vallathora and its avatars. White Circle Members are among the more easily sacrificed.

Circle 8: The Black Viridian

The 8th Circle is reserved for the High Priests and Priestesses. At each Faith Location (usually near anomalous sites if they can be or elsewhere) there are at least 2 Black Viridian members. Like before- their faith has nourished them but they have surpassed the grey rank and have darkened. They are closer to their goal of being the perfect servants and assistants to Vallathora.

Circle 9: The Crimson Black

There can only be 7 members of the Crimson Black at any one time.

Circle 10: The Gold Obsidian

Goal:

Their official goal is to prepare for the eventual return of Vallathora. The Faith believes that once Vallathora returns all of humanity will be wiped away save for a select few and those who are Anomalous or faithful to Vallathora.

However some of the higherups merely hope to amass power by ultilizing the anomalous via faith and religion.

Converting to The Faith

The Faith accepts anyone from anywhere so long as they are actually believers and willing to do whatever it takes to serve Vallathora and its many extensions of itself and avatars.

Humans can join in subservient roles and in more leadership roles. Some converts hope to become Anomalous themselves to that they too can move up and become closer to Vallathora.

Anomalies can also join. When an Anomaly joins one of the things they must do is meditate on their purpose that Vallathora has given them. This could be anything but essentially it is the reason why they are Thorian and not Human. Anomalies are typically in leadership roles or in roles where they are the center of attention or worship. If they do not take a part in the faith Anomalies are either manipulated to do so- or contained. Containment by the faith depends on each situation but the goal is that it is a comfortable prison. However the more distant the Thorian is from Vallathora the more likely the church will try to reunite the Thorian with the Unnamed God by sacrificing them.

After displaying an interest in serving Vallatora and the Thorians- a convert must undergo extensive testing that will determine their rank (The circles) and their job. Once they are known
