Sonic Boom - Kidnapped! (one-shot)

>Be a few months after Sonic Boom’s racing accident
>She’s still a bit shaken up, and Typhoon’s still in the hospital recovering from his surgery
>You and Rainbow Dash have done your best to help keep her calm, but she still has nightmares of the event
>”I hate seeing her like this… isn’t there anything we can do? Typhoon is like an older brother to her,” Rainbow asks you one night after waking up from Sonic Boom shrieking in terror in her sleep
“I don’t know; this is beyond my knowledge. All we can hope for is that eventually it all blows over…”
>You know it’s going to take many years, if ever, for her to be able to suppress it
>Which means many more sleepless nights for you and Rainbow
“C’mon; let’s try to get some sleep.”
>You hug Rainbow tightly to your chest as you let the warm embrace of sleep take the both of you

>Morning comes quicker than usual
>You heard her scream out once more during the night, but she stopped
>Must have woken herself up
“Morning, Rainbo-”
>She’s gone
>You look around, sitting up
>Sonic Boom is gone too
>You get out of bed, slipping some clothes on and walking into the living room
>You see a note on the table
>You pick it up and read it
“Anonymous,
We have been watching you for some time now. We have decided the fastest course of action would be to kidnap your mate and offspring.”
>This gets your blood boiling
“If you wish to see them returned safely, come and meet us near the Ghastly Gorge. We’ll talk further then.”
>You look at the bottom of the note
“Signed, D.D.”
>You quickly make a mad dash out of the house and out into the town square
>If they laid even one hand, hoof, paw, or anything on either of them, heads are gonna fly

>”Let us go!” Rainbow Dash exclaims, fighting back despite both her and Sonic Boom being tied up by ropes
>”Quit yer whinin’,” one of her captors scowls, smacking her with a large paw across the face
>Sonic Boom yelps out in fear after seeing her mother being hit
>She gets back up and shakes her head. “Why… Why are you doing this?” she growls, a cut across her cheek
>One of the captors grins, “Ya see, we don’ have any hands. Yer little friend does. So we’re gonna-” he begins, but is smacked by the smaller one
>”Shut up! Don’t you see what she’s doing?!” he growls, emphasizing the “e” sounds in his speech patterns, “She’s stalling for time!”
>The burlier captor scowls and nods, grabbing her by the rope around her muzzle, yanking on it to coax the blue pegasus to move
>She lets out a growl of anger, but complies, Sonic Boom following soon after
>”Can you at least tell me who you are?!”
>The tallest captor grins. “Has it really been that long?”
>Her eyes widen. “Wait a minute… That voice…”
>”That’s right. Now, c’mon; we’re going to the gorge.”
>Rainbow turns to look at Sonic Boom to give her a comforting smile, but it doesn’t work too well
>”Mom… what’s gonna happen to us?” Sonic Boom asks
>”I’m not sure, Sonic Boom,” she says, frowning a bit. “But we need to trust in your dad right now. He’ll pull through, he always does…”
>”Hey! Shaddup back there!”

>You decided that you needed some extra security, just in case
>You managed to get the rest of the Mane 6 to join you to the gorge
>”Oh, when I get my hands on whoever this Mr. D.D. is…” Fluttershy growls angrily
>Whoa, seriously out-of-character for Fluttershy
>You assume this is just because it involves a hostage situation with her best friend and her fetish
>”Quiet, girls; we’re almost there,” Twilight turn to them, “…And Anon, of course,” she nods up at you
>You nod back as Ghastly Gorge comes into view
>Along with a few silhouetted figures from the sun
>You can make out at least two larger outlines, and two smaller ones, with a final smallest one
>You assume one of them is Rainbow Dash, and the smallest is Sonic Boom
>The figures slowly come into view
>They’re some kind of dog-hybrid
>Larger front legs and smaller hind legs
>And next to their feet… Rainbow Dash and Sonic Boom are tied up by rope
>Both look shaken up, with various scratches on their bodies
>Rainbow, however, has a visible bruise on her cheek
>Seeing this burns you up on the inside
“Who the hell are you?!”
>The tallest one walks up in front of the others. “I’m Rover. This is Fido,” he says, pointing to the burly dog, “And this is Spot,” he points to the smaller one. “We’re diamond dogs.”
>”Hey, wait a minute! You’re the ones who kidnapped Rarity before!” Twilight growls, taking up an attack position
>”Oh no you don’t!” Rover growls back, “Or your little friends get it!”
>He points to the tied up Sonic Boom and Rainbow Dash, with Spot grinning widely at the group and a sharp claw running along Sonic Boom’s mane, her eyes tightened shut and whimpering quietly
“Wait, Twilight.”
>You hold your hand up, and walk forward
“What is it you want, ‘diamond dogs’?”
>”Easy. You come with us, and work in our mines to gather gems,” Rover grins at you. “And in return, your daughter and mate will be released safely.”
“No funny business?”
>”Do I look like a joker to you?” he points at his face
“…Yes.”
>He scowls, and nudges his head at the smaller one
>Spot grabs Sonic Boom’s mane and pulls it back roughly, causing her to yelp out in pain
>That’s it. The next chance you get, you’re breaking that one’s neck first
“Stop!”
>Spot looks up at you. “Then make the deal!” he grins widely at you
“Alright, fine! Fine, I’ll… I’ll come with you, just don’t hurt them…”
>Rover grins. “Glad you could see it our way,” he says, beckoning you over
>You hesitate for a moment, and then follow reluctantly
>You and Rainbow lock eyes for a moment, and you can see where the cut is letting out a small trickle of blood from her cheek
>Your eyes grow fierce, and you kneel down in front of her
“I’m going to get us out of this. I promise.”
>She nods, smiling weakly up at you. “I know you will.”
>You smile back, and then turn to Sonic Boom
“Dad’s gonna have to go away for a bit, okay?”
>You can see small tears flowing down her cheeks, either by the physical pain of Spot pulling her mane, or by the emotional pain of you going away
“Don’t worry; I’ll be back before you know it.”
>She looks up at you with her large blue eyes, and something just clicks between the two of you
>Fido grabs hold of you, and pulls you back
>Spot, on cue, undoes the ropes binding Sonic Boom; she immediately flies to you in a tight hug. “Don’t go, Dad! They’re mean!”
>You look down at her, and shrug Fido off of you
“I know. Which is why I have to go. I’m doing it for you and your Mom, to protect the two of you.”
>You turn to Rainbow, who has also been released
>She then proceeds to use her legs to knock Spot in the chest. “That’s for scratching my face, you mutt,” she growls, before floating over to you, joining in the hug
“Don’t worry, you two; I’ll be back before you know it. Trust me.”
>”Bah, this is ridiculous! Why don’ we just charge ‘em now? Anon and Rainbow are both free, y’know?!” Applejack digs her hoof into the ground, a fierce look in her eyes
>Fluttershy and the rest nod in agreement
>You grin at Sonic Boom, slowly lifting her into the air
“Stay back; you’re about to see your Dad in action.”
>She nods, raising a hoof to you
>You bump the hoof with your fist, before you and the Mane Six begin your attack on the diamond dogs
-BRIEF INTERMISSION-
>”…And we would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling ponies!” Rover and the other diamond dogs growl angrily, tied up by the very ropes that they used to tie up Rainbow and Sonic Boom
“That so? Then why didn’t you stop me, hm? I’m not a pony, after all?”
>You get into Rover’s face, giving him the view of a certain finger out of the view of Sonic Boom
“You’re just lucky I convinced the others not to send you all falling down into the gorge.”
>That gets him to shut up
>You grin, and then turn around, walking back to the group
>Sonic Boom and Rainbow both smile brightly, lunging at you in a hug and knocking you down
“Haha! C’mon you two, we’re alright now! Lemme get up!”
>You struggle to no avail; for not five seconds after the two of them tackle you to the ground, the rest of the Mane 6 gather in another hug
>The eight of you walk back to Ponyville, leaving the Diamond Dogs on the edge of the gorge with no food or water
>All of you party hard that night

>Next morning
“…Ugh… w-wha?”
>You shake your head and open your eyes
>Around you are six mares, all completely sprawled out on the floor of your house
>You look around
>Sonic Boom is also lying down on the floor, but it looks like she was out long before the six of you were
>You sit up, and grip your head
>You look at your hand
>Applejack Daniels
>…Yep. Just another night in the life of Anon.
