- The lavalantula knew what to do, walking over to the orb and easily shattering it with one of her front legs. But as she did so, all heat of the orb disappeared, replaced with a bitter cold. Whatever was in the orb started to raise to eye level, rendering her blind as she could not see any heat at all. She flailed, charging forwards, but the coldness followed her. Not only that, but it started to spread across her, cooling down her insides, making her feel…sleepy. Soon, her frantic movement stopped as she could not make any of her limbs move, each of them frozen solid. And then, slowly, it started to affect her mind, just allowing her to hear the noise of something screeching against the unnatural ground, several slams, and the calls of several of those beasts before she finally succumbed to her freezing slumber.
