[i]Being a moderator means that the community/Owner/Staff manager trusts you to have the power that mod gives you, and a moderator is someone who will not be biased in sits and they will always be there when you're in need. A moderator is someone who knows the rules and will not abuse the power that they have been given, and you're someone that's always willing to go on a duty when asked.[/i]

[b]TL;DR[/b] [i]Being a moderator means that you know the rules, you're well known in the community, you're very active and helpful.[/i]

[b]Why do you want to become a moderator (Go in-depth):[/b]
[i]The reason for me wanting to become a moderator is because I'm starting to see a lack of staff on duty at certain times of the day, sometimes we'll  have about 20 people on and NO staff and I would like to stop this issue, I would also like to be staff so I can give back to the community by helping people that are stuck or have been RDMed or someone has NLRed while they're raiding something or if they have found a bug/exploit or if they just need to ask a question. I'm very well known in the community, I know all of the rules, I'm on every day, I'm very helpful and I have experience in being a Staff member[/i]

[b]TL;DR[/b] [i]I would like to be staff so I can help the community and help players in need and give back to this amazing server.[/i]

[b]Are you aware that as a staff member you will be demoted for using commands off duty and that you will have to give up RP time on the server so that you can take sits help other players:[/b]

[b][u]Please answer in as much detail as possible how you would deal with the following scenarios:[/u][/b]


[b]1. There is a hacker exploiting and have given themselves god mod, players are complaining and want you to do something about it.[/b]

[b]I would:[/b] [i]Firstly i would get the name of the person hacking then ask if the reporter has proof of this person hacking , if he/she doesn't have evidence, I would cloak myself and attempt to get a recording of the hacker to see if they are hacking, if I did get proof of them hacking I would send that proof to a higher up so they can be permanently banned.[/i]
(I would ban them myself if I was a Junior Mod+, but as I would only be a Trial-Mod in this situation I wouldn't be able to)

[b]2. A player tries to raid your base without adverting but you kill him. He returns before his NLR expires and snipes you.[/b]

[b]I would:[/b] [i]Call a Staff member as I can't take my own sits then wait for them to TP then once they had TPed I would explain the situation to them and if I had proof I would give it to them then I would request that this person be warned for[/i] "Failure to advert, Revenge RDM, and NLR"

[b]3. A player has been harassing you for the past hour, raiding your base and mugging you every chance he gets. You accidentaly kill him and he requests a modsit for RDM using @ in chat.[/b]

[b]I would:[/b] [i]Say to the staff member that this person has been harassing me for the past hour then I would show any proof that I have to the Moderator then I would say to the Moderator that I didn't mean to kill the person, and then I would apologise to the person that I killed and let the admin decide on what to do after that.[/i]

[b]4. Someone contacts you about a player hiding in the corner of the map with a printer while playing a job classed as a government official.

I would:[/b] [i]Teleport to the player to see if they do have a printer, if they do have a printer I would take a screenshot of  the printer then take them to a sit and tell them what they're doing is against the rules then I would advise them to read the rules then give them a warn for "Printing as a government official" then destroy the printer and report them to a LT+ to get them demoted[/i]

[b]5. Player A is raiding player B, player A kills player B. After respawning player B returns to the raid and snipes player A while standing outside his NLR Zone. Player A requests a modsit. During the modsit player A starts excessively swearing and insulting player B, player B pulls out a weapon and kills player A.[/b]

[b]I would:[/b] [i]Gag player A to stop the player diss then freeze player B just in case he attempts to jump off and mass RDM then i would warn player A for "Player diss" and then I would either warn player B for "Revenge RDM, NLR and RDM in a sit" or ban him/her for 2-4 hours for the same reason[/i]

[b]6. You catch a player breaking a rule and you issue him a warning. After receiving the warning the player gets agressive and threatens to perform a DDOS attack on the server.[/b]

[b]I would:[/b] [i]Take a screenshot/video of the person saying this so I can have evidence then I would tell them that DDOSing is illegal and they could go to jail if found doing it then I would get his steamID and give it to a higher up then request that they permanently  ban him for [/i]"DDOS Threats"
(I would ban them myself if I was a Junior Mod+, but as I would only be a Trial-Mod in this situation I wouldn't be able to)

[b]7A. Player A joins the server and kills player B at spawn. Player B requests a modsit. After arriving it quickly becomes apparent that player A does not speak English. Unfortunately player A needs to be removed from the server, but as you prepare to kick player A, player B starts making excessive racist remarks towards player A.

I would:[/b] [i]Gag player B to stop them being racist then I would kick player A for "This is an English server" then once he had been kicked I would ungag player B and ask why he said those racist words and then I would ban player B for 6-24 hours for[/i] "Racism"

[b]7B. Explain why player A from scenario 7A needs to be removed from the server.

Because:[/b] [i]This is an English server and the person does not speak English which can ruin the roleplay for people as they don't know what they're saying and it would make sits very hard to deal with as nobody would know what he is saying[/i]

[b]8. After explaining a rule to a player you catch him breaking it again shortly after. You prepare to issue him a warning but when he realizes he is in trouble he leaves the server.

I would:[/b] [i]Get his steamID then warn them for "LTAP" and then send the steamID to a higher up and ask them to ban the person for 12 hours for[/i] "LTAP"
(I would ban them myself if I was a Junior Mod+, but as I would only be a Trial-Mod in this situation I wouldn't be able to)
