Lysera, Child of the Stars

Anya Vasiliev was born within Russia to her mother and father. But a few years after she was born, they seemed to have parted ways and ended up divorcing leaving little Anya with just her father in her life. At the time, she couldn't understand fully what that meant as she felt hurt mostly by the fact that it even happened. But her father did his best to console her and be there for her with the love and the strength of both parents. Back then, she was a quiet and soft-spoken child and very well-mannered. Obviously earning the spoiled tag from her father instantly even if she was an only child. But the fact that she was always being spoiled and loved never got to her head. When Anya turned sixteen, her father had asked of her dreams and aspirations since she was getting close to the age in which she needed to decide on that. Anya didn't have any particular skillsets really so she wasn't sure of what she wanted to do really. He gave her some time and told her that she would need to think about it soon. Never did she think about the underlining message to his words. A couple of months later as he passed by her room, he had to stop because of what he had heard on the other side of her door. He couldn't pin point it out but to him, it sounded like angels coaxing him with a soft melody. With an excited knock, he entered into her room and told her that he has found something that she could do because in his eyes, people would be able to harp in on her singing capabilities and that would be their way to stay afloat. Not only for himself but for her as well. He talked to many different agencies to try to get his daughter signed as an opera singer. Eventually, someone finally ended up signing her up and she began to take Russia as her own. At the age of twenty, she began looking up other ways to draw in attention so that she would be able to travel because her father was not willing to take her out of Russia. Her producer was ready and willing to do so and when she came to her with the idea of becoming a pop star instead, she was hesitant at first with the idea but would allow it only if she had promised her that if it did not succeed in the way that she had wanted that she would return to the life of an opera singer. Anya was fine with that and then came up with her stage name of 'Lysera'. To of course please that of her father. At the age of 21 was when she began traveling and her first destination was Japan where she stayed for two years before heading over to New York City at the age of 23. Once she had reached the age of 24, she decided that she was going to take a bit of a vacation which was approved and now she is taking some time off to actually relax and see what other wonders the city may take a hold of her.
