Cutie Mark story by Fairy Tail: I remember exactly when I got my Cutie Mark. It was
during the Running of the Leaves. I was just a little filly, so I wasn't taking part in the
main event, but my teacher had arranged for the whole class to have our own little race.
I was doing quite well - there were only a few ponies in front of me. Then, with the
finishing line in sight, something terrible happened. The pony at the front tripped over a
tree stump, and the two behind him were so hard on his hooves that they fell over as
well! Well, that left me in the lead. If I had carried on, by the time they'd picked
themselves up, I would have won and got the gold medal. But I couldn't do that! They
were badly hurt, and they needed help. I stopped and helped them up, and found some
herbs nearby to soothe their cuts and grazes. By the time I'd fixed them all up, all of our
classmates had passed us by, and I finished last. I didn't mind, though, because I knew
that I had found what I was meant to do!
