- so i can't go back that far, so i'll just say what i remember.
- One For All is a "quirk" that comes from the Boku no Hero Academia manga. Knowledge of it and the manga it comes from is required to use it.
- Five Tiers. Each one grants a static boost to the user's stat mods as well as a move or two.
- Upon gaining the first tier and activating it, the user is hit with a flavor text that says something along the lines of "x clenches their asshole super tight and screams the word from the bottom of their heart!!!", a 1.2x increase to all their mods across the board, and a move called "SMASH".
- Smash is a 20x - 50x punch that has a -huge- kb, but if it connects (the user has a ten second window to do so), the user will receive 20% - 50% wounds. How much is random, but those are the least and most they can get from using it. Has a CD of 1 day.
- [5/4/2015 8:08:16 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Upon gaining the second tier, the user will be hit with some flavor text that says something along the lines of "Through rigorous training, x has gotten better control of One For All". They also receive another 1.2x increase to their stats across the board (1.4x if they're jumping straight to it from their first tier) and another move called "Missouri Smash".
- Missouri Smash is a stronger clothesline with a shorter charging distance. If used, it'll inflict 2% - 10% wounds to the user, and has a 45 second CD. Flavor text is "x charges forward, delivering a fearsome karate chop".
- The wounds inflicted by "SMASH" are also lowered, ranging from 20% - 40%. CD is also lowered to twelve hours.
- [5/4/2015 8:14:33 PM | Edited 8:21:46 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Upon gaining the third tier, the user receives the same flavor text as the previous tier and another 1.2x increase to stats across the board (1.6x if jumping straight into it from no tier). They'll also receive another move called "Delaware Smash".
- Delaware Smash is a stronger "Cast Fist", having the same range as the aforementioned move, but not creating a bunch of lava tiles. If used, the user receives 2% - 5% wounds. Mostly because it's an attack that focuses the power granted by One For All into one of their fingers. Flavor text is something along the lines of "x focuses an abnormal amount of power into their finger and slams it into the ground". Has a three minute CD.
- The wounds inflicted by "Missouri Smash" are lowered, dealing only 7% each use.
- The wounds inflicted by "SMASH" are lowered, ranging from 20% - 30%.
- [5/4/2015 8:21:03 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Upon gaining the fourth tier, the users receives the same flavor text as the previous tier and another 1.2x increase to stats across the board (1.6x if jumping straight from no tier). They'll also receive another move called "Detroit Smash".
- Detroit Smash is a weaker "SMASH" - a 10x punch that has a flavor text along the lines of "x throws a straight right, packed with an uncanny amount of power". Twice the CD of Heavy Shot(?)
- Delaware Smash inflicts 2% wounds.
- Missouri Smash inflicts 5% wounds.
- "SMASH" inflicts 10% wounds.
- [5/4/2015 8:26:45 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Upon gaining the final tier, the user is hit with a flavor text saying "x possesses the heart of a true hero, gaining full control over One For All". Another 1.2x stat increase across the board (1.8x if jumping straight from no tier). None of their moves injure them.
- [5/4/2015 8:27:24 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Since One For All only increases stats, it'll take up the special buff slot, allowing them to use a Super Stance, Buff, and normal Stance.
- [5/4/2015 8:27:31 PM] N-E-G-U-S: And yeah, that's it.
- [5/4/2015 8:30:40 PM] Cam: you already had similar ideas
- [5/4/2015 8:30:44 PM] Cam: this is good
- [5/4/2015 8:32:19 PM] Cam: now
- [5/4/2015 8:32:47 PM] Cam: people wouldn't like(or properly RP) a self-destructive Tier S
- [5/4/2015 8:32:50 PM] Cam: see: Gates
- [5/4/2015 8:33:04 PM] Cam: now what if we were to branch off?
- [5/4/2015 8:33:13 PM] Cam: two pathes for One for All
- [5/4/2015 8:33:31 PM] Cam: the safer route, with less power and less risks
- [5/4/2015 8:34:17 PM] Cam: or the dangerous path, forseeable with injuries that many would never heal from - but the power that triumphs gods themselves
- [5/4/2015 8:34:45 PM] Cam: an "All-Might" path and a "Deku" path, persay
- [5/4/2015 8:35:07 PM] Cam: talent against hard work..!
- [5/4/2015 8:35:20 PM] Cam: he who was given everything against he who earned it all
- [5/4/2015 8:37:20 PM] Cam: it'll be a situational choice
- [5/4/2015 8:37:28 PM | Edited 8:37:37 PM] Cam: instead of everyone picking deku path
- [5/4/2015 8:42:05 PM] N-E-G-U-S: It'd be cool. Less of a stat increase per tier and few stats receiving said increase (or no stat increase at all), they never get wounded by their attacks, but they can't reach their final tier(?) Assuming that's how that path works, some move or bigger buff would have to be associated with the Deku/Midoriya path.'
- [5/4/2015 8:42:27 PM] Cam: correct
- [5/4/2015 8:43:09 PM] Cam: let's put it like this: the deku path will become a true hero
- [5/4/2015 8:43:23 PM] Cam: the all-might path requires a true hero
- [5/4/2015 8:44:40 PM] Cam: it'd be preferrably for teachers/support characters/heroes who've gotten too old
- [5/4/2015 8:44:45 PM] Cam: or sick
- [5/4/2015 8:45:05 PM] Cam: or for anyone from the deku path tht has someone inherit the torch
- [5/4/2015 8:48:01 PM] N-E-G-U-S: But if that were the case, who'd pick/play it? Unless it's someone heading into the wipe with the mindset "teach then die", nobody would pick it with that intention. If anything, they'd keep it for themselves up until the moment some big bad or player kills them.
- [5/4/2015 8:48:33 PM] Cam: preferably
- [5/4/2015 8:48:35 PM] Cam: not meant for
- [5/4/2015 8:49:13 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Right, right.
- [5/4/2015 8:49:48 PM] Cam: anyone can get the all-might path basically
- [5/4/2015 8:50:43 PM] Cam: it still needs sound reasoning
- [5/4/2015 8:50:52 PM] Cam: this shit will not be on the tree
- [5/4/2015 8:51:09 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Also, final tier can receive some special stance (it'd count as a Super Stance) that increases BP 1.75x and str, end, resistance, and speed by 1.5x - 2x.
- [5/4/2015 8:51:26 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Assuming it's implemented at all.
- [5/4/2015 8:51:30 PM] Cam: right
- [5/4/2015 8:51:37 PM] Cam: i was thinking
- [5/4/2015 8:51:51 PM] Cam: the all-might path can have a timed buff at T2
- [5/4/2015 8:51:55 PM] Cam: that makes it stronger earlier on
- [5/4/2015 8:52:16 PM] N-E-G-U-S: But as time goes on, it grows weaker and weaker?
- [5/4/2015 8:53:11 PM | Removed 8:56:49 PM] Cam: This message has been removed.
- [5/4/2015 8:53:24 PM | Removed 8:56:44 PM] Cam: This message has been removed.
- [5/4/2015 8:55:21 PM] Cam: well
- [5/4/2015 8:55:24 PM] Cam: not less and less
- [5/4/2015 8:55:35 PM] Cam: lets say instead of losing from it
- [5/4/2015 8:55:39 PM] Cam: you gain more time to be in it
- [5/4/2015 8:55:51 PM] Cam: say if the buff lasts one minute
- [5/4/2015 8:56:04 PM] Cam: then at T4 it'd be 2 minutes
- [5/4/2015 8:56:24 PM] Cam: and it has a long cooldown
- [5/4/2015 8:56:29 PM] Cam: about 10 minutes
- [5/4/2015 8:56:39 PM] Cam: so people cant stall fights
- [5/4/2015 8:57:06 PM] N-E-G-U-S: Cool. So for All Might path, no wounds from the attacks, 1.15x increase for each tier, can't get fifth/final tier, and a timed buff that'll give you more time to be in with each tier you gain.
