We delved back into the mana pools of the Font, intending to make good on out promise to Analyst 7. All the creatures here are exactly as suspected, and feed off magical energy. Some proved to a bit of an annoyance at first, but we made good headway eventually, blasting some of them from a good distance before they could even present a danger to us. We’ve of course been picking up items along the way as well, though nothing has been really useful, other than an Ioun Stone that would definitely benefit Beans. I wonder if I can find a similar one in town, or further into the pools that would help myself.

I think I want to study under the Analyst more as well. While he gave me some insight on myself and the magic I use, I want to learn more about the intricacies of magic itself, how to identify what magics I see in items, and other casters using. I could also study the natural magics of creatures on this plane, here in Kor, and others, if he has that information available. My magic is natural, so it only makes sense, right?
I wonder if I will ever come across another being like myself. I’ve no doubt we’ll eventually run into some sort of Void creature, but they’ll likely just want to destroy us, much like all the stories and rumors. I guess it’s just part of my craving to belong, the want for someone similar to myself to be around.
