  1. Mythras-style.
  2. Minimum adult human Int/Size is 8, everything maxes out at 18 for humans. Siz and Int av at 12 or 13 for human range. Everything else averages to 10 for adult humans. I think I'll keep that 18 max for everyone except for Siz. Everyone gets the same 80 points on these stats.
  3.
  4. Fairy
  5. >Constraints first...
  6. Str 1
  7. >Technically a possible 1 to 3 range. The max at 3 is ~ a quarter of av. human adult strength.
  8. Siz 1
  9. >This is fixed, it covers 45cm and below
  10. Pow 18
  11. >From entry. At max. So magical she has fucking technicolor sparkles!
  12. Con 18
  13. >From entry. At max. Freakish durability is needed for the s l e e v e j o b.
  14. Int 8
  15. >the minimum human is probably an improvement for the...simple.
  16. Dex 8
  17. Cha 8
  18. >At human minimum. She is at least as charming and fast as your grognard asses.
  19. >18 flex points to spend on Str (max 3), Cha and Dex (max 18). Do what you want with them, can't spend them anywhere else...
  20. Dex 18
  21. >Damnthatwasfast

  41. >auto human max
  42. Movement Rate 4m ground, 8m flying
  43. >based on examples since this is not characteristic based
  44.
  45. >Time to figure out daily life for Fairy, and therefore the skills reflected by the natural culture. She'd just start with derived abilities that are naturally high based on the stats, and develop them.
  46.
  47. Skills for Fairy at natural stats, before any point-buy:
  48. Customs 40
  49. Native Tongue 40
  50. >These two are auto-set to 40% for all species/characters under the usu. RQ rules
  51. >Anything at 19 and under is indicative that Fairy is naturally garbage at it
  52. >So I'll list what is naturally above garbage
  53. >I'll trim it down to things Fairy could do in agrarian society:
  54. Conceal 36
  55. Endurance 36
  56. Evade 36

  90.
  91. >That's still a pretty large list. So to discover the preponderance of usage we're going to grab entry data from MGE and roll some stuff for variety. Entry data is shown in quotes i.e "...entry data..."
  92. >”...make little houses out of trees and mushrooms...”
  93. Survival 36
  94. >”...that loves music and dancing...”
  95. Dance 34
  96. Sing 34
  97. Musicianship 34
  98. >”...they have no resistance to monsters...”

  101. Evade 36
  102. >”When multiple fairies form a circle and dance...a "fairy ring" will come forth...”
  103. >Gonna fuck up space-time when you dance-off, bro?
  104. >Better find your way back with
  105. Navigation 26
  106. >On the subject of random teleport no jutsu…
  107. >Looking the timey-wimey ball directly in the face means you need...
  108. Willpower 36
  109. >Amusingly this is a possible explanation for why Fairy naturally has local knowledge i.e Locale 16 which is pretty garbage, yo.
  110. >We're going to come back to the Fairy Dance Teleport Magic later...
  111. >Other elements are implied from the entry or filled in w/ rolls
  112.
  113. Classification: Herbivore and symbiont
  114.
  115. Diet: Plants, nectar, saps, small insects for trace nutrients
  116.
  117. Habitat: Forests
  118.
  119. Advantages: Flying, Heightened Sense (Taste), Special Sense (Quantum Virtual particle foam-matrix)
  120. >Flying is from the entry.
  121. >Heightened Taste is due to chemical receptors across the skin's surface. The highest concentration are located in the hands and feet. These are so small as to be imperceptible at normal magnification. This fit in with later rolls.
  122. >The Quantum V-foam matrix sense is the basis of the entry power to teleport.
  123.
  124. Disadvantages: Hunted, Rare or Vulnerable Habitat, Food/Energy Scarcity
  125. >Same number of disadvantages for balance. Hunted because she is a small chewy morsel. The other two were rolled.
  126.
  127. Behavior: Patient
  128. Social: Herd (from small group to swarm)
  129. >Rolled.
  130.
  131. Communication (Primary): Chemical. Similar to scent, though other “sensors” are used
  132. >Rolled.
  133.
  134. Natural Weapon: Throw. 1d3 damage.
  135. >Rolled. Pathetic.
  136.
  137. Description: Same as the MGE entry.
  138.
  139. Clothing: Strict, large percentage of body covered.
  140. >Rolled, and it fits with having taste sensors all over. Sometimes things work out like that.
  141.
  142. >At this point, I'll jump around to Cultural Attributes of Fairy. My presumption is that these would be derived from the pre-high tech state, which was rolled and will come up later. I'm skipping the usual Corebook order due to this preference. So don't have a fit or wonder if you've got some edition error.
  143. >The cultural attribute list wasn't the only thing I rolled on to generate the Culture of Fairy. Had to make a few generators to give me more data for filling in. That's an old trick, and why so many generators are bare-bones. FYI to newfags, since people rarely mention this. Anyhoo, let's get to it.
  144. >It may look like I'm just coming up with complex ideas out of whole cloth, but I'm not.
  145. >The difficult part is merging a pile of generated outputs into something coherent. Let's see how well I do...
  146.
  147. Values: Fairy culture values the ability to confine, limit, and imprison. This is partially derived from the complex web of social contracts required for survival as a small Herbivore symbiont that had to cooperate with other intelligent species. The innate Fairy Quantum sense and ability to teleport have also strongly contributed to this value system.
  148.
  149. Beliefs: Like almost all of the intelligent denizens of the planet spanning Mosaic super-structure, Fairies believe in the transhuman hyper-intelligent AIs that order, govern, control the massive planet linking network. Fairy society believes in showing equal degrees of respect to this "Pantheon" of AIs. Furthermore, Fairy society places group social expression as the best means of showing respect to the AIs.
  150.
  151. War: The natural form of warfare practiced by Fairies is ritualistic competition for resources. During their primitive stage, the resources ritualistically fought for were held by coalitions formed between intelligent plants and other Fairies. The motive was not merely scarcity, but was driven in part by the desire for knowledge. Though the average Fairy doesn't prioritize abstract knowledge, aesthetic knowledge is commonly desired. Finding new chemical and quantum "tastes" is near and dear to Fairies, and the wealth of new sensory experiences held by other coalitions often drove conflict.
  152.
  153. Weakness: Given the high metabolic drain for a natural teleporter with weak strength and attacks, constantly being hunted to exhaustion by carnivores was very problematic for Fairies. The high energetic requirements of survival meant that Fairies had to form coalitions with others such as the other small symbionts or the intelligent plants that manufacture sugars and nectar in excess. At times Fairies would've had little recourse but to cooperate with the more intelligent of their predators, in exchange for group survival. The degree of quantum, chemical, and energetic requirements for the survival of the species is a complex matter that required many inter-species relationships.
