Gaze flickering from one of the swordsmen to the other, there was a certain appreciation and even relief. "I'm Maz." She introduced herself with customary politeness, tone even and calm. "Who are you two?"

Kaguya Kito His free palm waves to the woman before them. Things here were bound to get dicy but, customary politeness was always of value. His warriors honor made it so. "Kito. We may be foes, but I wish you luck."
Kubo, Nami tapped the tip of her toes against the ground in her sandals as she looked at the two Genin. "Well.. let's get to it I suppose."

ROUND 1
On a silent signal, the woman began their bout, chakra sent into the ground as she moved backwards. The first priority was dealing with the numerical advantage, and that was best done by encasing one of them in an earthen prison to bury them fully.

But who?

A swift rumble followed once the woman moved backwards, clapping her palm together. The earth beneath Itako, Tetsuya's feet would drop suddenly, sending him plummeting into the ground unless he managed to react quickly.

"To be honest, I am just happy to not be facing Konoha for once. Their village is...tedious."

Itako, Tetsuya looking at the jonin start to form a set of handseals as he reached into hsi kit and pulled out a windmill shuriken. He was pretty sure that whatever the woman was planning was going to be annoying so he let both of his windmill fly at her cutting throught the grass even as the earth opened up under him and pulled him into the ground.

This was a sistuation that he had found himself in.

ROUND 2

Shuriken. A skill she herself had honed throughout the years. Taking careful stock of her options, she carefully maneuvered, weary of a technique she herself had used many times when faced with skilled foes. A simple but effective way to move one's opposition around.

Launching herself north-west in order to avoid the windmill shuriken and giving it a clear and wide berth, the now airborn jounin unleashed twin sets of shuriken along with a similar amount of makabishi, raining the little spikes down as she flew.

The fragile kunoichi Shuriken. A skill she herself had honed throughout the years. Arrogant to an extent, the windmill that had been summarily dismissed as easily avoided proved to be more of a challenge than expected, a second one forcing her to move far wider than at first anticipated.

Sharply inhaling as the metal came within inches of drawing blood, the newly minted jonin narrowly avoided the projectiles, weapnry of her own sent hurtling towards the incoming owl. Only now did she note the feathers.

The fragile kunoichi picks up Makibishi.
Itako, Tetsuya was in a hole looking at the climb that had to work agasint and started to climb it seemed they thought that a hole was going to stop him and he was going to be damned if he was going to die in the ground. They were going to bury him at sea after he had a wife and some kids when he was going to allow himself to die. But he knew what he had to change the couse of battle. But she was so far so he just pulled himself up inch after inch out of the hole.

Kaguya Kito His eyes notice weaponary smartly placed on the ground, and the current weaponary coming towards him. Upon impact with his skin, they shattered, falling straight to the ground below him. He watches Tetsuya climb his way back up, and Kito would only continue to press forward.

ROUND 4

The woman's right foot slid backwards, a lone windmill hurtling towards the feathered shinobi at speeds aimed at skewering the young man.
Hidden in the shuriken's shadow was another like it, the technique used against her now utilized against her opponents.

The man hadn't answered her question and as such she disregarded speaking entirely.

Itako, Tetsuya pulled himself out of the god damed hole this was one of the reasons that he hated fighting doton user there was always some kind of hole that he had to deal with. Grabbing his swords as he pushed them back to his side as he started to run putting one foot in front of the other and closing the distance between the two of them.

As the windmill shuriken harmlessly struck the man's skin, the woman curiously took stock of the effects of the weapons which seemed to be none. Was it a technique she had yet to hear about? The Kaguya clan was ruled out, never having heard of feathered Kaguya previously.

Maybe the other was an enigma of sorts. Putting that out of her mind, the woman's options were carelessly ran through. How were her subordinates doing? There was a frown as her hands moved into hand seals, encasing the woman in a protective barrier of shimmering crystal.

The fragile kunoichi frowned, noting the lack of visible stir in the distance. Odds were her peers weren't doing particularly well. A defensive fighter who preferred supporting others, it had been her downfall again and again, the Shingen lacking the ruthless streak some within previous generations had harboured.

Frustration flared before turning inwards, hands rising to direct what was to come like a conductor in front of an orchestra.

Chakra that had been previously dispersed into displaced earth was manipulated, the earth rumbling and giving way as the hole Tetsuya had been previously trapped inside collapsed in on itself as shifted rocks were violently reformed and reshaped into a construct; the dragon that burst out of the hole grinding along the ground with an open maw, heading straight for the strawhat-bearing shinobi's back.

Itako, Tetsuya closed his eyes and he let the world fade away as he took a second to become calm to become that ship in the middle of the sea and he knew that was happening around him. He could hear how Kito was breathing he was able hear the stone that was forming behind him. Sending the chakra down to his legs as he kicked up off the ground floating up there in the air and brought his hands togethor for one seal. And he did the thing the mist was famous for.

"Ninpo: Kirigakure no jutsu."

Unsure whether her technique struck Tetsuya or not, her eyes shifted to Kito, hands moving along in order to direct the dragon towards the white-haired male; connection with the dragon remaining unbroken. A rumble followed as the projectile hurtled towards her foe in an attempt to slam into his body.

Itako, Tetsuya could hear her, he could hear that heart beat that pluse of life that was running though her and he brough his fingers togethor and let them start to move. Keeping his eyes close as he felt the air ignite on the side of him as he summoned those orbs of fire like he was an asura and he was about to deliver vengance.

ROUND 8

Even as the earthen dragon crumbled to nothing once she was alone by the looks of things, the woman heard the first impact followed by another sequence of hisses as intense flames impacted the outer shell of her protective barrier. At first she remained secure in the knowledge that it couldn't break through only for the heat to increase within the dome.

Turning with quick realization, the dome shattered as the eighth fireball impacted her safety. Downside. Her protection was gone. Upside. She could move. Heat licked at her clothing, beads of sweat appearing at the nape of her neck as the woman's feet drummed a steady beat against the ground.

Still no word from the genin.

Sprinting through the space her Kaguya opponent had once occupied, Maz zig-zagged through the mist with a severe scowl worn. One technique and the entire advantage had shifted in favour of the Kiri-Kumo duo. She couldn't strike at what she couldn't see.

Itako, Tetsuya moving forward as he let the mist drop from around him instead reaching into his kit and pulling out a smoke bomb dropping it in the ground in front of him. Filling the area with his smoke as he disappered once again making sure that she would be able to target him.

He might not be able to keep up the mist but there was no need this fight was coming down to the last bits of it.

As the mist clears, now was the time. He quickly rushes towards the woman with his sword in hand. He planned on testing her close range combat, seeing if she could take the damage he was bringing.

Kubo, Nami appeared on the field as the mist dropped, exposing her pink hair to everyone in the area. Her hair blew against the wind and she did not have a single scratch on her. "Finally, now that the distractions are gone. I can help you bring her down."

Seeing as there was more smoke now, she would instead keep some distance as she continued to watch, unable to really do anything because there was now a smoke cloud in the way. Although she also took some time to througfh down a Kunai on the floor.

Locked into close-quarter combat with the sturdy shinobi, the fragile woman's teeth grit together once she heard the voice of the woman who had been engaged in battle with the others. It had gone about as well as she had suspected by the sound of things.

As the strike came in, crystal materialized around her right forearm, deflecting the odachi before sending a sudden stab towards the center of Kito's chest.

The woman would find her body struck with bones in her arms, and shoulders. The blood drips down as he looked at her.

 If she was still able to fight, he strike at her again, aiming to end this battle her and now.

Like his father, and his father's father and their father before them. And in the second he drew both of his blade and let them cut aross her.

Shock was followed by a rush of warmth and a biting cold as bones dug into the woman's body, calcium spikes tearing flesh apart with ease. Multiple puncture wounds, a dry voice echoed in her mind, a preliminary diagnosis made with the little knowledge she had garnered from time spent with medics.

"A...Kaguya..." She managed to murmur, having gained the answer to her question in the most brutal way possible.
Swords dug into her soon after, fight ending in an abrupt bloodbath.
