  1. Sorry for the messages, but I feel the need to elaborate a bit about why I don't really like your script and why it doesn't really fit in with mine (well, in my mind). It's nothing personal of course, and I'm not just hating, you've done cool things with it (I just state this because this is Internet and people can be offended so easily, you never know, don't want you to think I hate you or something stupid like that).

  3. So yeah, the goal I'm trying to achieve with my scripts is to improve TF2R and only that. Make things easier, but not change how they're done (unless it's really flawed in the current state, like how I removed the fields that don't work correctly on the "new raffle" page). I've also tried not to do anything that's already been done in another script, but I might start doing it soon though, because all the other people who've made scripts are gone now, and their scripts are a bit out of date. TF2R didn't change much, so it's not a problem for most of them, but I still feel like some of them don't need to be an entirely separate script. (much like my line break script actually, that I will delete after I've made a script for raffle pages and integrated the line breaks fix in it and the user page one)

  5. As I said, yours doesn't really fit in because it's mostly a change in the layout and look of the site. And I like my old TF2R (even though that's not really the point). It's cool, but it doesn't really improve the site. As I said to someone (I don't remember who it is right now XD), how I see things is that I'm trying to improve TF2R with simple changes, and you're trying to make it your own (uh, I hope this doesn't sound bad).
  6. There's one really cool thing about your script though, it's the inventory and items. But most of it is actually useless because of TF2R itself limiting the reach of your script... Same as with this script that Slender "fixed" a few days ago, which allows people to use Steam emoticons on TF2R. It's cool, but without the support of TF2R itself, it just becomes half useful. My personal view on these is to not waste time to only have half of something. But as I said, this part is pretty cool, it's a shame we can't do much because of the site itself.

  8. The real problem though is that the way I'm doing things and how I planned it, I'm most likely going to just make things harder for you.. My next planned step is changing the raffle pages, but seeing how you've already done a bit there, it'll most likely be conflicting with your script. That's also why I made different scripts instead of a big one, I see them as modules that you can easily activate or deactivate independently of each other.
  9. But yours goes the other way, and as such, I can't just take part of it and focus on something else... If I want to keep improving TF2R, I might have to do things you've already done, and as such put my script in competition with yours.

  11. Maybe the best things to do would be to actually work together on scripts. Or at least talk about them. Right now, the solution that seems best to me, hoping it's not too selfish or anything, would be letting me do my thing and just remove that part off your script, and tell me if there's anything you don't like about what I did. I'm mostly referring to the raffle page script I mentioned I'd do next earlier. You could even just change the code yourself and just give me a version you deem better and then I can just upload it (not that I don't want to give you access to my personal site ftp but yeah :p).
  12. I don't know, I just want to keep making my scripts, but I don't really want to just ignore you... Or maybe I just don't want you to think I don't care? I don't know... Yeah, just tell me what you think maybe.
  13.
  14. Sorry again for all the talking, hope you don't mind too much. And sorry if it's a bit weird, I kinda lost my train of thought in the middle... XD
