- 1. Members are expected to operate at least one airline in a game world, providing they do not have real life commitments.
- 2. All major airlines must be full service, and there are basic expectations regarding the
- quality of these.
- Full service is defined as having at least 3* IFS and 4* IFE in economy on flights greater
- than 1000 miles. High density seating configurations are banned. Serving secondary airports
- is banned, except where secondary airports are not primarily used by LCCs, e.g. Gatwick,
- Newark.
- "Low cost" carriers are allowed, however have basic service standards are expected, and must
- be subsidiaries of full-service ones. 1* IFS and 2* IFE in economy minimum on flights
- greater than 1000 miles.
- It is generally expected you will only have one aircraft family per segment. (i.e. not
- operating the 767 and A330, 737 and A320)
- 3. Members will not have hubs in the same place at airports with less than 30 million
- passengers per year, in which case an agreement must be made between the airlines.
- 4. Airlines must be relatively realistic. This essentially means not putting First class on aircraft with less than 200 seats, not paying your staff $7 an hour, etc.
