  1. Summarized from: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1161544232
  2.
  3. Added one section from the A-part since it feels very relevant.
  4.
  5. >October going to be even busier than September(06:25)
  6. She begins by saying that right now she has a break from her non-stream scheduling because of the vaccine, saying she is free until the day after tomorrow, but when she seriously did check her schedule starting from after tomorrow, she realized that October has become even more busy than her previously mentioned busy September, which surprised her a bit.
  7. Having looked over her scheduling and heard from her manager about how she has recordings for the Sankisei live and various other things, as well as dance lessons and a bunch of other stuff all over the place it hit her that, isn't this work on the same level as all the nousagi do every day, and for October only will Pekora too be experiencing how it is to be a corporate slave, stating that almost all of her scheduling requires her to go outside.
  8. The chat erupts in laughter and comments telling her not to call it being a "Corporate slave" and she laughs at their reaction saying that she seriously did think to herself; "Is this being a corporate slave, it is this feeling?"
  9.
  10. Note: Just in case someone thinks I might be exaggerating. She really does say "Corporate slave" as she uses the word 社畜
  11.
  12. >General impressions of the movie(02:36:14)
  13. As the credits roll she remarks on that Dani got completely infected by the cult and that her happy expression was as if she had finally made a family. Despite there being parts in the movie that made her avert her eyes because of the gore, this movie's style suited her since she likes this kind of cult-like, "Long held dangerous tradition" type of genre, so she found it to be considerably fun to watch.
  14. She remarks on that Pelle was a scumbag, a real scumbag since it was like he knew about everything that would happen, although she mentions that since this was a once in 90 years festival it wasn't like he had experienced it before but he was probably informed by the other members of the village.
  15.
  16. She remarks that she hoped that Chris would have been able to defend himself at the end there with Dani but he was made unable to speak which was very terrifying, the village members really set him up good. On another thought she says that the movie reminded her a bit about Shyamalan's "The Village" movie even though they don't share the same kind of story at all. But it roughly shares the same kind of "Hard to reach secluded village" where a bunch of "relative-like" people are huddled together, who also forbid any outsiders from entering and that only the members of the village can be there and so on, she really likes that kind of genre and this movie had aspects that resembled that genre and "The Village". On the topic of "The Village" she says that it is a movie you'll cry to, and that she did cry to it. Not the crying you get from being deeply moved but rather from sadness.
  17.
  18. Someone from chat brings up that Pekora found Pelle to be a good guy at the start of it, and she laughs at it then denies ever having said that and says that she always found him to be suspicious. After all she says, there are bad people who'll deceive you with a friendly face, which means that the one you should doubt the most is those who seem like nice people. She warns everyone else too, that there might be truly good people out there as well but you will most certainly be deceived by a fake one.
  19. A nousagi brings up that Pelle did it for the sake of his village and while she can sorta see that perspective, would you really do that to your friends? Surely not. Another one says that it was a "Family over friends" decision and she can see the logic behind that.
  20.
  21. >The gore wasn't too bad for her(02:48:20)
  22. She reiterates that it was a lot of fun watching it while speculating about how it would go, and at first she was a bit worried about watching it since she was told so many times that it would have pretty strong imagery, with lewds and gore. And sure the gore was horrible and they sort of surprised you with it many times too, which made her avert her eyes from time to time, but she had a lot of fun with the movie and watching it was easier than she thought it would be.
  23. She also says that before she began watching it she even got a message from Towa on Discord expressing concern by asking her if she is really going to watch it, it is pretty shocking you know. Towa also wanted to hear her impressions after she has watched it and Pekora wonders if it is fine to tell her that it was alright and that she enjoyed the movie in spite of it being gory, having elements of one of her favorite genres and all.
  24.
  25. >Lewd part impressions(02:50:15)
  26. She gets asked how she felt about the lewd scene and she says that when it comes to movies she doesn't really care all that much about it, since it is just a movie. Since if you are thinking about movies and western movies then "Bed scenes" are common, but this movie was really vivid with it having everyone just out in the open like that, completely naked. She doesn't really mind it since it was this kind of movie about a cult-ish village with these strange customs to them, rather it became more like a gag-scene to her as it went on.
  27. She tries to explain it by saying that lewdness has this degree too it, and that there is lewdness that is effective in making you actually react to it as you are supposed to and lewdness that you simply can't get excited to, and this scene was one that was definitely not arousing. She did find it strange that they applied a mosaic censor only when the scene became brighter.
  28.
  29. >If she finds something else she wants to watch she'll do watch party again(02:52:15)
  30. She says that if another new addition to Amazon Prime comes out that she hasn't watched yet, then she wants to do another one of these watch parties, since she was completely satisfied with Midsommar. They suggest that she might find something else if she checks out the directors other works, and she looks it up, finding Hereditary and after reading the synopsis she remarks on that this director really seems to love family-related stories. She looks it up if the movie is on Prime and it seems to be, so she says that maybe they should watch this one the next time.
  31. Thinking about it some this seems perfect since next week she has dance lessons one day and chances are that she'll be exhausted after it making normal streaming difficult so maybe she'll do a watch along at that day. Checking on her October schedule there is likely to be a day in which she feels like she'll have to pseudo-rest and on one of those days they can watch Hereditary.
  32.
  33. >Prefers darker movies more so than cheerful ones(02:55:48)
  34. Someone from chat tells her to watch cheerful movies as well and she laughs and says that she has watched cheerful movies as well but that she does really like these types of movies and that she hasn't really watched all that many cheerful movies. For example, she'd rather watch spy action movies, or horror movies where she'll squint while watching, over cheerful movies that are intended to make you feel good, and of course in terms of her preferences today's Midsommar was spot on.
  35. The chat asks if there is something wrong with her to prefer these types and she says it isn't like that, it is just that she really likes this type of genre and that for example, there was a period in which she was really hooked on M. Night Shyamalan's movies.
  36.
  37. >Cover planned for release tomorrow(03:04:35)
  38. Rounding off by saying that she just ended up talking the time away and since tomorrow is a weekday she believes there are a lot of people who need to sleep, so therefore she decides to round off here by stating that soon enough, on a day where she is tired they'll watch Hereditary and also that one of her cover songs only has the management check left and is planned for release tomorrow, so look forward to that.
