Sorry to post this personal drama here, however, Susan's friends are the only semblance of a heart she has.

You would all do well to cut your ties with Susan because being the sociopath that she is. She will cut you off or take advantage of you, or simply just not be there for you when you need her. How do I know this? Because she did it to her own son.

I called her last week (believe it was call of last resort. If there had been any other way Id have chosen it over calling her) the car was in the mechanics and i may, repeat may have needed a ride for 1 possibly 2 days consisting of a 50 minute trip each time, and paid gas. I was turned down flat. So i told her that given the fact that every time she had needed me because she was high/drunk and backed into an Ohio State Highway Patrol Cruiser at 1am I cam as fast as I could. I even took her to the hospital, waited, and took her home. Then she called one morning and said she was in the hospital and couldnt remember how she had gotten there and asked if i could come get her. No questions asked I was on my way. So I asked Susan one more time. I said think on this long and hard. I have been there for you every time you needed my help i was there immediately no complaining or beating around the bush but now when i need you? you just turn me down flat with NO! I said if you don't help me this one time after 35 years of maternal neglect. I will cut you off. you will not be my mother but Susan and the last time we will speak is when i sign you into the long term state nursey care facility for you to grow alone and die in. Of course with out even pausing to consider the ramifications she immediately answered No. Thus I am a man of my word and I have disowned Susan. I suggest all of you do as well because if she can't be there for her own son, why do you think she ll be there for you when the chips are down and you need her?
