House Ceadar

Motto: Our Roots Are Deep
An old family of the country, House Ceadar values its traditions above all else. Traditionally in House Ceadar, a daughter can be won for marriage if the proposer bests her father, eldest brother or another chosen male family relation in combat. However, the person being challenged can decide the rules of the contest. As such, most of those who wish to wed a Ceadar end up being skewered between many spears.

House Kadinn

Motto: Dormant Yet Flowing
One of the oldest houses in The Ring, they rule the southern land of snow and volcanos from the city of Volcadus, the most southern city in The Ring. Those of House Kadinn are known for their patience and desire for balance between many aspects of the world. They are one of the very few houses that worships The Triad, and take pride in that, though certain other houses look down upon them for it. They have disdain for conflict, and as such will wait as long as possible before taking sides in a conflict. They also provide a great contribution to the economy, as [southern mineral rich isle] is in their domain.

House Malaya
Arms: Black lightning over white (Argent, a lightning flash sable)
Motto: In The Shadow Of The Sky
An ancient noble house, endlessly devout to the Church of the Light. Their hands guide the ecclesiastic management, and have been known to take vows themselves should they be somehow unable to produce a child by a reasonable age. They claim to be descended from Sky-Dwellers, and as such also claim ownership of the Throne in the Sky. These claims, however, are both disputed and largely cosmetic.

House Reaper
Arms: A golden wheat bundle on green (Vert, a wheat garb Or)
Motto: Together We Grow Golden
When the peasantry of the central farmlands rebelled and killed most of House Toffin, previous owners of the land, the reigning monarch wisely decided that rather than sending another noble down to oversee the land, he would instead raise a lord from one of them, any man of their choosing. Naturally, they chose the rebellion's leader, Jonts Reaper, who promised his House would always fight for the interests of the working man. Two generations later, those of the Reaper family who remain at their inherited hall rather than venturing to the capital for whores and drink learn the hard way that fighting for the interests of the working man is much harder than slaying a few noblemen.

House Tinden
Arms : A white rabbit, running or rearing, over gold striped across blue (Azure, a bent Or, a rabbit rampant or courant argent)
Motto: The Quick Need Not Be Strong
The young lords and ladies of Tinden are known for four things; dashing good looks, a calculating mind, excellent duelling skill, and a proclivity for sex with whatever pretty young thing they can lay their hands on. They will generally lose at least one of these things with age, but rarely the last one. They have ownership of the manor of Burrahal, close to the capital, and though they have little land display some level of influence, being an old and resourceful House.
